Fairly easy to grow, the buds were not dense so less risk of mold. Cheesy herbal smell, nice effects. Only got 7g at 14 weeks so not the best yield but never mind.
Have some air circulating her if you don't already to aid in mold prevention. As for the leaves... is it the large, older fan leaves? How do the smaller newer leaves look? If it's just the older ones I wouldn't get excited. I'd keep same feeding and monitor for more yellowing.
You've got weeks left. Maybe 3? They still look really young. Pistils are still fluffy, very little calyx swelling. The pistils will look like they dry up and they'll start curling a bit, the calyx will swell and almost look like they are eating the pistils. Also, the trichomes on the calyx/buds should be getting close to 70% cloudy/milky before you have days left. Good luck and keep on growing!
Plant is growing in Westlands compost with John innes, blood blood bone and potash sulphate. Have only watered with rain water and liquid sea weed. No water for like 2 weeks (soil moist 1 inch down) Any suggestions on the leaf issues?
Looks like your having 2 problems the leaf curling closed like that is heat or light stress the leafs changing colors is a potassium deficiency With a marijuana potassium deficiency, you'll generally see symptoms on older leaves, but not always
Does low light intensity lengthen the life of an autoflower or is the life span set? So will the flowers end up maturing (staying very small) instead of continuing to grow? UK has had poor weather past few weeks. Will the plant cells trigger senescence before fat buds?
Hey Growmie ...
At this point, I would just let her be since she's so close to being chopped down no sense in having to do it twice ( now and then again when you trim at harvest).
Hopefully, this was helpful and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time"
Does partially harvesting slow the development of the remaining buds or will they actually be better off due to a change in plant to root ratio?
A mix of impatience, fear of bugs/mold and curiosity to try bud with different levels of milky/amber trics led me to chop the top nug.
have you flusehd the whole plant? My theory is that you cant carry on gorwing the lower nugs because the plant needs to be flushed when harvesting the upper nugs. I have tried to let the lower part of the plant carry on growing however it doesnt work out to well TO BE HONEST.
Hey, she's looking quite nice. I'm about to start growing exactly same strain although indoor under led. Keep me updated how she grow and I'm looking forward harvested buds
@Elek007 thanks man, just thought fuck it I'll upload because I find this site so useful my self. Got some other strains to upload. I bought a tent for the garage but Mrs wasn't happy so greenhouse it is!
Last year grew Barney's farm purple punch auto and bakery seed co cheesecake auto. I mismanaged 2 heat waves and lost a lot to mold (grew 01/jul to harvest mid oct) only got about 10g of nice bud and about a G of iso from the trim. THIS YEAR WILL BE BETTER, LOCKDOWN HAS ONE POSITIVE!
out of curiosity did you buy your critical cheese seed or was it free?
I paid for stardawg and glue gelato but they got eat by Milipedes before even sprouting! Whoops
Greetings from 53N in Canada. I find outdoor plants take longer than stated by the breeders and that it’s more due to cool nights than low light. They take longer but they can get nice and big outdoors. Also you’ll have better luck with fabric grow bags. 😎
@Northern_Ent, thanks for the info! I was going to but fabric bags but wasn't sure if it would make much difference as i see so many get results from standard pots. Will try next season.
