I haven't updated the diary for almost three weeks.. I made a terrible mistake and almost drowned my little seedlings. I kept them too wet during my absence and when I came back I was afraid it was over.
However, I decided not to give up and I let them dry completely, gave them an extra week to recover and transplanted them into the final pots (11 and 15 liters).
They're till stressed but new pair of leaves are appearing along the main stem and I'm sure they will completely recover by my stupid mistake.
So far I'm pretty impressed with the new line of fertilizers and boosters.
All fresh new leaves are showing some green healthy colour and the stems started thickening up.
I'm very positive and I can already see them progressing in the following weeks.
In the beginning of the week I gained up the dimmer of lights to approximately 30 % to gave the plants a proper dosage of photons they deserve😀
On one side I'm angry at myself about the mistake I've made on the other I'm very excited to see how the plants will recover and become monsters.
Thanks everybody for stopping by and all the likes and comments.
See you around😃
@Green_Dream, that sounds reasonable. I was really sad but tried to push the ladies with organic nutrients until 7th month of vegetative stage but it just didn't work :( It would be interesting to see how they perform in the organic coco, surely I'll be following along!
@ReinDeer,
Thanks, it’s exactly because you had them in coco I was curious.
As coco is a hydroponic medium I imagine that maybe the organic nuts take too long too break down and hence the deficiencies.
Well, I’ll give it a shot - the organic coco - a bit different then your setup though, cuz I amended the coco with powder nuts.
Let’s see what happens 🤞
@Green_Dream, hi, thank you for asking. I'm not sure, it seems it just didn't work out with my setup and COCO I'm growing with. Lots of deficiencies during the flowering stage, slow growth and as this was not enough I got thrips infection I couldn't get rid of.
I'm however really sorry for this as I was so exited trying organic grow :(
Surely the organic line I was given is a good one especially if your growing in soil.
@ReinDeer,
It’s definitely a great way to save 2-3 weeks of vegging. The only problem I see is humidity. I guess they can stay in a dome the first 1-2 weeks, then they should be fine with lower humidity.
@Green_Dream, thanks mate😊I’m keepimg them with autos as they’re almost ready for harvest. One was already chopped down and there is a space for the seedlings. Haven’t tried that before though 😀
Hmmm. Actually I was just curious what others wrote about her and I started reading other people's harvest reports and got here....
I just saw this happened to you...
I had exactly the same issue I mean not issue challange.
THE STRECH..... check out my Original Sensible Seeds - Do-Si-Dos OG diary and you will see.....
Crazy....
I loved to grow this strain and the smoke is amazing.
What do you think about the smoke? Pretty dumb good for me mate.... There ? @ReinDeer
Nice to see what I can expect from mine. Beauty. Unfortunately, no weeks uploaded from veg. Does she grow rapidly when stars flowering? Did you top or not? Just to have some future expectations 🤪
@ReinDeer
Thanks
@Ferenc, It's a shame I haven't been updating until switched to flowering but I was super busy with everything and had difficulties to catch up. I've been struggling with thrips and lost few weeks saving them but they all completely recovered. She was quite small until I switched to 12/12. Afterwards DoSiDos OG plant exploded and she's now around 1 metre tall. but not so dense with buds. I haven't been doing any topping up, just LST and all the branches are now almost the same height. 😀
