Two weeks into the grow and all five seeds that were planted showed promise. One of the AK-420 lost a leaf which was concerning. Weather was very good on this week with only one day having a lot of wind which battered the growbox. At this stage the Super Silver shows the most promise

Not much growth from the previous week, although all plants stayed looking healthy. Weather became really hot and sunny. Moved from watering every 3 days to every 2 days

A real growth spurt over the past week and the plants are taking shape nicely, will look to do some LST on a couple of plants. Weather was not the best but the growbox has protected the plants from too much stress.

Good growth rate continues, flowering spots have started to show. Tried LST on most plants however was a bit to late with only one of the AK-420s really taking to it. The Silver got a good bend but was already to well grown to do anything substantial. As flowering is starting I have introduced guano tea and will feed about 0.10l every 3 days per plant.

Another good week for growth with 4 plants now standing at 1m in height, only the AK-420 with LST is not as tall due to nature of training. All plants seem to responding well to guano tea and flowering has started to take priority. Heat stress will present a challenge over this coming week so will have to have sides open on growbox. Height is starting to be a concern now as well due to size of growbox, may have look at weighing tops down, any other suggestions would be welcome. Starting to also notice that familiar smell :)

Plants are in full flowering mode now with lots of budding spots on all breeds except the Northern lights which seems like it will result in fewer but larger buds. Had issues with the height as the majority of plants exceeded 1m in height, have had to use canes with hooks to bend the plants on a more horizontal angle, this hasn't seemed to stress them too much. Weather has been cloudy, windy and wet these past few days and is set to continue for another 3 days, however the following week is looking better. Plants are responding well to guano tea will increase dosage over this coming week as intend to revert to water after another week. One of the leaves on the nothern lights has bite marks, did have an issue where flies got in the box, have since been able to vacate them.

Weather not so great again this week but plants well into flowering, leaves on the Northern Lights and Super Silver Haze have started to go darker which leads me to believe that these strains will be ready to harvest first, maybe in 3 weeks time. Will start easing off on the Guano tea as some nutrient burn on a couple of leaves, though not too much to worry about. Smell is increasing but manageable, Noticed some curling of the leaves on the Super Silver Haze, restricted watering but problem got worse, have increased watering for this plant and it is recovering nicely. Have also started to trim lower leaves which were yellowing due to lack of light getting to them. With the LST and bending which I have done I have about 10 large collar/tops and another 15 smaller ones. Due to how big the plants have gotten it is becoming more difficult to take good pictures, but I shouldn't complain about the size. Think i'm doing ok but happy to have some suggestions.

Growth rate has not been so good this past week, mainly due to cloudy days. They haven't required as much water as on the previous weeks either. Still unsure of time frame for harvest as the AKs and Northern 9 weeks on the packet, a little past this now but more time for growing :). Will give one last dose of Guano tea this week and then just water. Any advice on these final stages would be appreciated.

Plants shouldn't get anymore taller now, One of the AKs did not respond well to bending so released the ties and raised the height of the growbox instead, this seems to have done the trick as it is looking more healthy and the bids are fattening up. Gave last dose of Guano tea as I am expecting to harvest in 2-3 weeks. Smell is getting noticeably stronger and I expect this coming week to have it increase. Trichomes have started changing from clear to white will monitor this to inform when to harvest. As always any advice would be appreciated.

Mixed weather this week, done a lot of defoliage on the plants mainly removing the yellowing leaves, this seems to have perked the buds up a bit as they are getting fatter. I am expecting to harvest the AKs over the coming week as Trichomes are very white just want a little bit of amber on them. The SSH and NL I expect will need another 1 to 2 weeks. Guano tea has been stopped on the AKs but will continue on the SSH and NL for this week only. Daily checks on Trichomes are needing to happen to ensure I harvest at the best time. They are really starting to smell now, with the AKs having a really sweet smell and the NL and SSH having a more richer traditional smell. As always feedback is welcome.

Weather much improved this week which led to some good growth, Have started to harvest all the AK-420s, have one plant left to do as it is taking about 4 hours per plant. Will be looking to harvest all the NL and SSH this coming week but will give a good pluck first, leave for a couple of days. Plants are really starting to smell now so having to wrap up this grow.

A very hardy plant with the AK that was damaged early on taking well to LST and producing the highest yield of the three at 14g. Buds were very small and this is a leafy plant so required a lot of trimming. I have to say I love the smell of this one, very interesting with a citrus dominance and a fruity tang both of which come through in the taste. The veg cycle on this strain was amazing and saw great growth, biomix allmix with half cocacore definitely did the trick here although a rethink on flowering nutes would have to be done should I grow this strain again, lack of sunlight during this later phase may have impacted this as well. Used the trimmings from this and the others to make cannabutter then cookies, damn they were strong. Over all a good strain for beginners as this plant is very forgiving, an enjoyable smoke from the end product although do not recommend to have before bed, gaming, sessioning this one is great.

This plant always seemed to be behind the others, however they do say keep an eye on the quiet ones as this plant produced the highest yield

This plant quietly grew in the corner making no fuss and produced the best yield at 27g. This was by far the easiest plant to trim and buds are so fat and dense. One issue I did have was with drying as the weather went really hot drying this out in 3 days, in the mason jars I cut up a kitchen sponge, dipped it water and left 24hrs. This has done a great job of re-hydrating the buds and there has been no negative impact on taste or high as far as I can tell. To smoke this is a great evening toker, a nice full bodied smoke that gently eases you into a relaxed state and frame of mind. The only changes I would make in growing technique is look into supplemental lighting and maybe a different nute regime for flowering. Can see why this one is a favourite and would definitely grow again.

This was my favourite all the way through due to its growth rate and its resilience, however towards the end I had to chop a few stems and harvest early due to bud rot.

This plant stood tall and proud amongst the others throughout the whole grow, however I had to amputate a couple of stems as there were signs of bud rot, this plant also got nute burn more than the others so careful administration is needed. Buds were not to large or dense and quite airy, not as leafy as the AKs so trimming was not so difficult. To smoke its quite fun, your first few tokes make you hazy then a nice happy buzz follows this through taking over it into a strong hit. Would consider growing again but in no rush to do so.

Mhhh looking fire pal! I really enjoy the growth of your autos, especially the SSH! Interesting to see the differences in development between greenhouse and outdoor. I also love your self-build greenhouse! Once I have a big garden and a house, I will try something similar. :-)

@Topshelf420, thank you for your feedback, went the greenhouse route due to privacy concerns, there aren't so many diaries or information on this type of grow do decided to document, glad that your enjoying noticing the difference from environment. Gonna follow your grow as really liking your setup
