*official intro is in week 6*
Welcome to week1🤠
I have added this first week, because its a new feature and I wanted to try it out, so go to week6 for the official welcoming🤠❤️
Thank you!🤠
Finally started my Strawberry amnesia diary, I waited untill it was in vegetative stage.
I had a problem with pH fluctuation, and after transplanting I accidentally got water on the leaves so they got nut burn. But otherwise its growing nice and strong, soon I'll start LST.
For nutrients i use fertilizer accelerator which is used for tomatoes, it has 1,5%N; 0,8%P2O5; 1,3%K2O and I keep water pH at 6.8
My plan for watering is to let the soil dry as much as possible without doing damage to the plant, and then watering well with 5.5L of water (half amount of the pot). So in theory this should help better root grow and prevent over watering🤠
Started LST this week, I think I did it well.
Had to edit my week 6 because I realized that shes been in veg longer than i thought, idk how i couldn't notice..
Anyways, she caught just a teene-tiny bit alternaria from my Critical kush, but I fixed that.
I'll keep adding photos through out the week🤠
31.7.2020-I started using a stick for my LST because I want to grow her in a straight line.
Now she looks dead and well....mabey..I don't know..😁
I hope that she's going to be ok and that I didn't stress her too much, I'll keep you updated🤠
2.8.2020-looks like she's handling the LST just fine😊
4.8.2020-started using thicker adjustable wire🤠
I think I'll add week 8 after it ends, I find it stupid to constantly edit the diary, so you'll hear from me in a week🤠🤠
Welcome to week 8..🤠
She's doing great even though grasahoppers/crickets/bugs are nibling at her, but its not a serious problem
6.8.2020-used wire hooks to spread her side branches, so she's getting more sun🤠
8.8.2020-pulled out most of the wire hooks and started using straight thick wire, which is attached to the bottom of the branches
Also started trimming useless leaves, that means more veg growth and she looks nicer🤠
9.8.2020-sprayed her with chemicals against alternaria just to be sure🤠
11.8.2020-watered her and you can see how the straight wire is attached to the bottom of the branches
So that's it for week 8, hope you enjoyed it and I'll see you in week 9 or in the comments🤠🤠
How's it going and welcome to week 9🤠
This week I almost broke off a branch, but I managed to tape it and save it. After watering(pH 6.75) I checked the run-off pH and..well shit, it's running low at 6.00pH-5.32pH something around that. So next watering I'll try to fix it🤠
Anyways, I have been progressively tying the branches down and trimming them..whitch I'll try to stop trimming them in week 10
So that should be all for week 9, not much happened but that's ok. I'll be editing this week if I spot some mistakes, but otherewise see you around/or in week 10 and happy growing!🤠
A day late, but here's week 10🤠
Now I'm kinda confused if I should put this week already into flowering, but I guess I'll wait until I see more evidence
Now I'm sorry that I'm posting late, I just had a lot of stuff going on lately. But otherewise she is doing well, I think next week (week11) she'll go into pre-flower❤️
I've also re-poted her into a 34L pot, in which I drilled holes for water to escape and attached aluminium tubes for my settup. It wasn't necessary to re-pot her but I didn't know that until i pulled her out of the old pot, at least I don't have to worry about under-watering🤠
I have also changed the thin wire that holds the stem upright with a lot thicker one
And I did cut a few leaves off, so I don't stick to my plan of not cutting any off
Also Ph of watering was 6.98, I think it will need to be even higher, because I don't have the best soil🤠
You can see how I modified my pot, which is something I don't have in my Critical kush#1 diary
So I think this is all for the week, not much happed and as I said I haven't had much time and I think I won't have much time any time soon (school and life), but I'll try to take as many pictures as possible and add a lot of worthy information🤠
Thank you for being here, stay safe and see you soon!🤠🤠
So it's week 11🤠
Not much happened this week, she's still in vegetative stage (at least I think), so she's still growing in size
We had quite cold temperatures this week with a lot of rain, so I haven't really watered her with extra water, but I did feed her a little. I'm still working on a little roof to protect her from rain so she isn't constantly wet
I haven't cut any leaves this week and I'm not planning on cutting any, so I'm just gonna adjust my LST as needed
I've also been doing some research on harvest and planning my dry box whitch I wanna make.
You can kinda see how I tied down the branches in the photos, its not the best way, so next grow I want to change it🤠
I'm sorry that there's not much to this week, but next week should be a bit more interesting. So have a nice one and see you soon!🤠
Week...12🤠
So we're getting cold mornings, days are still sunny and worm
She's a strawberry..well sorta speak😁 but tbh, I don't like the look of her😕
I did some re-tying, so she has a flatter and a bit more even canopy (you can't see that on the photos) and found what has been eating my leaves, cute but annoying🤠
I've also tied some string to the branch wires so it all grows level with the ground
I know I said I won't, but I had to, so I did..I cut some leafs. She had to many whitch needed to go, so I decided to cut them before she starts to flower
I've watered her with 17L of water, ph 7.15 because of my bad soil
Also soon in the next week or two I'll start making my drying box, hopefully my plants won't die before harvest😁🤠
Looks like that's it for this week, it was a good week in terms of growing, so I'll see you next week!🤠
Welcome to week 13🤠
This week I have been doing a bit of LST every day, so I've been bussy. I have also trimmed her quite a bit
She's stretching a lot, almost every day I have to tie her down. She also started showing more pistils, so I'm getting excited
Watered her with ph7.19 water, run-off water was at ph5.79, So I still have to raise the pH, best before full-flowering
Weather was worm this week and very sunny, but it should cool down again
She's not that symmetrical, but still looks nice, I'll try on making her more good looking
I've also got all the material for my drying box, so hopefully I'll make it soon
And I'll be making a small roof so my harvest doesn't get ruined
So I think this is all to be said, I'll edit this week if I forgot to say something or made some mistakes
Otherewise see you soon!🤠🤠
Week🤠14🤠
Haven't done much this week, I just let her strech. She's been growing a lot and she started growing future buds😋
Watered her with pH 7.22 I had to actually make the pH go up, so I used wood ash..It didn't really worked that well..😬
Leaf stems are turning to kinda a red-ish/pink-ish colour, I don't know if that's ok or not, but since the plant looks..kinda healthy I'll say it is
Also no clear roof, I wasn't allowed to do it. But I will be making my dry box very soon (think next week you'll see it done)🤠
So that's it for this week🤠
Welcome to week15🤠
Did some LST and trimming this week, I believe she won't grow any more, because I haven't seen any growth for a couple of days. So she should shift her energy into making some deliciouse buds
Watered her with pH 7.22 water, nothing really special here
Weather has been very cold and rainy, doesn't look like it's going to change any time soon, so I moved her under the roof
I've been working on my dry box, I cut the styrofoam to size, glued on a PVC textile, connected four sides together and made the inner frame ("seal") of the door.. There's still some work to do, but next week you'll see it finnished!🤠
So that's it for this week, see you in week 16🤠🤠
Welcome to week16!🤠
This week I have done some trimming and training, because she is actually still streching..I guess she was too cold last week and thats why she didn't grow much, but now she is doing great❤️
Her buds are starting to show a lot better, can't wait what the smell and look of them will be🤠
Watered her with 17L of pH7.13 water..so that's kinda low.. I'll wait till the soil dries before the next watering
I finnished my dry box..well I still have to attach the dry rack strip things and the door handels..but it's otherewise finnished!
I'll make sure to take more photos of her for week17
And that's it I believe, so thank you for looking at my diary, see you next week!🤠🤠
Week17🤠
I think she gave up on growing..I guess she's not the only one who gave up..
Yeah, that's right, she's really slow, but at least she should come to a halt in growing very soon
I did a little bit of LST and defoliation, but I just haven't had the time for anything else
Weather has been rainy and cold, so I didn't even water her on tuesday, she should be fine tho
Tbh, you should look at my Critical kush #1 diary, its a lot more interesting! I'm talking about big buds! Tasty trichommes! Bud rot! Stem rot! Wet buds! Dried buds! All in one package! So get your own at my Critical kush #1 diary!🤠
Yeah that's it for this week, see ya soon!🤠🤠
Heloo, Its week18!🤠
This week I haven't watered her because her soil is constanly wet and I don't want to risk root rot, also the weather has been wet, so I don't want any mold
Did some LST and trimming, I think that's the last of LST because she stopped growing🤠
I bought myself some trimming scissors and a pack of Boveda 62% humidity packs, for when I'll be curing the buds
She's taking way too long with her growing, I'm afraid she won't make it before the Frost comes and kills her with its mighty sword made from ice but hard like diamond
I'll see what happens, I just might have to put her down on the early side, but I'll try to keep her growing for as long as possible🤠
I want to post more photos, but I feel like it's all the same and it just makes you bored
So that's all for week18, see you in week19!🤠
Welcome to week19!🤠
More photos this time baby😏
You can see some cute buds, she's starting to form trichomes and develope nice colourful buds🤠
Haven't watered her for a few weeks, but it doesn't look like she cares at all
I've been doing a lot of trimming, mainly because the leafs have some weird brown spots.. looks like their coroding from the wet weather..but also so she isn't cluster in leafs whitch could lead to mold🤠
So that's it for this week, if you are interested I have harvested my Critical kush, so that's on my other diary, anyways I'll see you soon!🤠🤠
Welcome to week20!🤠
We start off with a nice sunny day, but to be soon ruined by a lot of mold
Her buds are quite small, don't put out a lot of smell and she has very little trichomes
Finally after three weeks of letting her dry, I could water her again. Used 17L of water, pH7.14 and some nutriens
After watering her I took some bud exaples and went to chceck them out under my microscope..and wow! The trichomes are ready for harvest!..I did not expect that, because of the size of her buds and the lack of smell, but she really was ready to be choped!
So I flushed all the nutrients a just gave her with 30L at around pH7.62🤠
So this means next update is going to be harvest, so just wait for that 🤠
Now I know I said she has very little buds and smell, but all of that is mainly my fault. This strain CAN PRODUCE some beautiful and amazing buds!😍 I just, sadly, didn't have the right conditions for her😕
But anyways, see u in harvest!🤠🤠
So she's quite good in fighting disieses, she fought off altenaria. At the end she was getting a lot of mold, but I tried my best to help her.
Because of bad temperatures and lighting she never bulcked up whitch is a shame, there was a high potential in her
I made some farmers grade hash out of the suggar leafs and I'm thinking I'll use her for edibles, tinktures or just hash
I'll update the diary once i taste her, but so far I can say she has a pungent smell.. althought the smell of the scissor hash was fizzy&sweet
So thank you all for the support and I hope to see you in my next diary!🤠
Edit1:
Week 1-2 of curing I opened the jar 3 times a day to control the humidity
Week 3-4 opened the jar twice per day
Week 5-7 opened the jar once per day
Week 8< open the jar once every 2-3 days, and later-on only when I need some buds.
I kept it at 62% humidity, and at first I didn't like the smell of the buds, but now im used to it..its hard to explain the smell🤠
The buds have a nice smooth smoke to them, with a little taste of wood😋
