This is one of the seeds from my first harvest. It was created by allowing the mother plant to naturally grow male flowers (preservation instinct of an unfertilized female plant). I only found about 20 seeds in the 260g of buds from the plant that went to seed. I didn’t have any seeds in the clones that were in the tent with the mother nor did the other two Acid Dough that were harvested earlier in that grow. This suggests that the seeds were created by a “banana” in the bud (bananas usually pollinate from the inside). I will of course watch very closely for the dreaded hermie.
Ok we played guess the yield on my crack. Had some very close answers and everyone seemed to have fun. So let’s guess the dry yield. I put up a video with some dimensions to help. Closest guess gets the answer.
@Tazard, it was hard to judge from the pics because she was growing wild!! Must have been a bitch to trim all that up, thanks again Tazard! And enjoy your harvest!
@PharmaZ, either way, no one was even close, not even me. I expected about 200 after the four cuts I had already made. 380+ the cuts is quite a welcome bonus to me.
Looks fab mate did you pollenate to get seeds ? I done some coldial siver on a branch one my super lemon got over 20 viable seeds one i just start on balcony .
@Fergie, no, if you don’t harvest until very late, like just before the plant dies, she will make a banana (natural hermie). This banana pollinates itself. It is a survival instinct. Somewhere in “Taz’s first grow “ is the reference. I believe Dutch Passion was the first to sell “feminized” seeds and they were made this way before the chemicals were used.
@biggreens420, really hated paying for it lol. I think since starting the autos until this harvest we’ve had to buy 8oz (224g). No more! Thanks again for looking.
Damn.......almost half a kilo off of one plant!? THAT IS INSANE!!!! first time I see someone having to use a box to be able to weigh in!! Absolute madness!!!
