+Speed Auto is the 3rd generation Autoflowering. +Speed Auto is a variety autoflowering developed looking a genetically very fast flowering. It is ready to harvested only 7 weeks after germination. It produces thick buds loaded with aromatic Resin. Sweet and fruity aromas with hints of yeast and cheese.
Blasting out a quick grow while in covid lockdown and working from home. Second account as could not log back into my first not updated since week 3.
Really enjoying the plants development.
Over fed plant one this week with double the dose of topmax by accident couple of minor nute burn signs on x2 lower leaves but flushed and resolved. Starting front up nicely now fingers crossed for some bulking out.
Interesting last week, with a heatwave with temps as high as 31c had real trouble keeping the temps down in the tent, dropped the lighting to 18-6 just to cope with the temp issues. Can see a slow of growth matching this drop by the end of the week.
Slower growth but still steady bud weight development. Lights were also raised to 25" above the plant to counteract heat.
Slight nute def on one lower fan leaf which looks more like nute def than ageing. Attributing to the half dose ive given due to worry about the double feed last week. But nothing major. Expecting this to run to week 10.
Well its been a fun week, every other day feeds as she's been getting much more thirsty during flower. Buds have been thickening up! One more week needed.
This is a fab strain for a beginner, having never grown autos before and only photo's the simplicity of this strain is to place the seed in good soil and water with gentle nutes and it will do its thing for you. Don't overthink it with this strain, as said in my diary I had read some others saying this plant was a little leggy. I didn't find that at all. I actually over compensated with training this plant because of that. I think this plant just needs some very basic LST at week 3 and again each week and really thrives on its own. So if you are new to growing it's a nice no-brainer for a sweet smelling yield. 56 Days in total could have harvested sooner but wanted a heavier buzz.
I grew these in quite large (nearly 30L) of soil which was far too much, these plants will do well in and 11L (3 Gallon) pot just fine. Im on with growing another run in these to see what the difference is.
I’m growing the same strain. Really easy for beginners. And as you say, it can improve much the yield by some basic LST, as I did. Since you break apical dominance, brand new long nice buddy branches emerge...I’m very impressed, even if I still learning how to do LST properly. All for the best.
