Furious Candy

Tazard My wife and I really enjoyed our first Furious Candy. We plan to put this lady in a tank with a 10 week Acid Dough this will give her more than enough time to make some seeds. Thanks for following along!

Tazard She is pushing out her second leaves. Her first leaves are a slight bit mangled let’s hope that the second ones will come in good so she can get the energy she needs. As of this week I am using rain water in place of my RO tap water.

Tazard Beginning of week 3 and she is pushing out her third set of leaves. Her roots are being slow they have just begun emerging from the net pot. I have been giving her 5ml a day but now that she has a root in the solution she has to be a big girl and get her own water. Her next node wasn’t developing so I FIMmed her. If this doesn’t stimulate her I will definitely top her. D19 I’m not sure the FIM took but she’s pushing out some branches so it’s all good.

Tazard I switched nutrients midweek last week to Advanced Nutrients. I was really excited and worried about the change. The ppm scared the hell out of me in DWC but the patient tolerant representative told me not to worry about the ppm. So I mixed up some 3week for her. She didn’t like it one bit. Immediately she began to wilt. I left the solution in overnight. She was still sad the next morning so I mixed her up some week 2 nutes. She absolutely loved it perked right up and seemed to grow before my eyes. I left the week 2 nutes in for 2 days and then gave her the week 3 nutes back. Without hesitation she was even happier and more vigorous than before. On day 21 I gave her week 4, full strength, nutes and she clawed the very tips of her leaves for about 3 hours.

Tazard She was still making the 3 leaf nodes on her main stem so I chopped it off. The leaves on the 2 branches look normal and are growing.

Tazard She is looking great. She should be ready for the flowering tent when Crack finishes.

Tazard Late update but the photo is D47. She is showing her Indica in her leaves. I have been keeping the light high to increase the internodal distance for better light penetration.

Tazard I’ve done some defoliation but not any training. I’ll probably let her go to 18” and then start super cropping her mainstem until I get her canopy even.

Tazard Noticed clawing and curling edges so I flushed and cleaned the reservoir. I also reduced the bases to 50%.

Tazard She is just waiting for Pandora to finish up then she will move to the flower tent.

Tazard Finally got Pandora out of the way!!!! My wife really loved this the first time I grew it so I’ll grow her a little monster. Planning to have 4-5 tops.

Tazard She’s not stretching much. Only gained about 1/4 of her height so far. I was really looking forward to seeing her about 40” (100cm).

Tazard She has really not stretched much at all. She certainly looks happy and has lots of budlets.

Tazard She is stacking up the calyx’s. The next 3 weeks should have a great impact on the bud size. I really should have vegged her longer but I didn’t.

Tazard She continues to swell and she has even gained about an inch! I plan to harvest most of her around 5% amber. However, I think I want to give her another shot with a great vegative time. I will leave a cola to try and get some seeds from her.

Tazard She is putting on the frost. I’ll probably start looking at Trichs next week for the buds I plan on harvesting as sin semilla. Thanks again for looking.

Tazard So far I see one banana. Really hoping for more since this was my last Furious Candy bean. The buds are ripe and have a somewhat peppery smell. She is covered with frosting. Next time I grow her I will definitely be topping her.
