Day 49: Watering day. She's starting to fill out and get real pretty. FB estimates the THC on this strain somewhere around the 20% mark, and this is passing the eyeball test at this point.
Day 50: Been doing a 2-day cadence, but she's already dry and thirsty after a day and a half. Feed day it is.
Day 51: Nothing special today, just thought she looked pretty. Buds on the main cola are getting chubby.
Day 52: Second time in a row she's been thirsty in 36 hours. Plain watering. More and more pistils are going orange/kinda pink?
Day 54: Feeding.
Day 55: Last day of Week 8 and her pistils are getting super-red. Cutting off the Grow nutes this week to help juice her up, then tapering off the Flower nutes. I've heard so many different and angry opinions on flushing, so I'm going the middle route and weaning her off. A lot of signs showing that she's almost good to chop, but I'm gonna wait for autumn leaves.
How do yall clear runoff from your drip trays? I'm currently pulling my one flowering plant out of the tent to water and drain, but that's gonna suck if I try to scale up to the five I'm allowed."There HAS to be a better way!"
There is a better way, get a pump and some tubes and place the tubes in the trays, after about 20/30 minutes after watering turn it on and it will suck the water into a disposal container.
Hope it helped, if you have automated irrigation you can just time the pump to that time after the watering.
Hope it helped and if it did plesse pick my answer its for grower of the month contest. I really would appreciate the fastbuds merch they have as a prize .
@AuldKelt, I appreciate it! I started this grow nervous about succeeding since it was my first time, but I'm finding that stress was pretty unwarranted. Like you said, we're growing to provide ourselves relief, so why undermine that?
Love your Day 55 comment regarding taking the "middle road" on the debate related to flushing. Anytime growers forget that participating in Nature's cycle is a privilege and not a mad rush to squeeze an extra couple grams by super-stressing is a loss to them. Stressing out to help create something made to help us relax is a contradiction in terms.
Well spoke Friend.
