Light began at 25 watts hung at approximately 30 above seeds.
Day 2
22 June 20: seeds were started in jiffy puck in living soil with a coco base, contains Gaia green dry amendment And glacial rock dust, Josie’s worm castingS (5% of total volume) And Aldune kelp meal 12-6-12 amendment (10% humic acid)
After rapid stretch, light lowered to 8” above canopy and dimmed to 25 watts.
Day 7
27 June 20: watered approx 150 ml each at ph 6.5
Day 10
30 June 20: growing rapidly, stalk structure is thickening and third node is currently being developed. Some slight taco’ing on one leaf portion.
Light lifted to 24” above canopy and adjusted to 65 watts.
Day 14
4 July 20: Moved plants outdoors and awaiting new fabric pots for transplanting. Topped both plants. watering every two days approx 150 ml starting to seE roots reaching out of the solo cup drainage holes.
Day 16
7 July 20: plants received transplant into 1 Gal Grassroots transplant initiator pots. Decent root ball pictured in photos. Watered in with NPK Grow Microbes at 1/2 tsp per 1/2 gallon. Each plants received approx 1L of water to saturate the new medium.
Day 21
12 July 20: super cropped and LST. Plant are muscling through LST tie downs in the small one gallon pots. Lemon Sapphire has much more sativa dominant traits, taller and lanky At 14”, while the Fruity Hoops is shorter and slightly bushier 11” tall.
Day 25
16 July 20: watered 750 ml ph to 6.6.. heavy rains this week led to the pots getting a bit over saturated. 1/2 tsp of NPK microbes added to boost microbiology of soil.
Day 26
17 July 20: Topped both new growth nodes and gave plants. Nighttime foliar spray of NPK Grow Microbes PH 6.6. Watered the plants 600 ml each with the foliar solution.
Day 28
19 July 20: transplanted from 1 Gal to 5 Gal airpots. watered in approx 1.5 litres PH to 6.5.
Day 29
20 July 20: super cropped both of the recently topped main colas and two top branches to allow for other branches to catch up.
Day 31
22 July 20: due to such high humidity plants have started to develop some very light spots of powdery mildew, humidity has been very high + 75% with daily highs exceeding 35•c. Plants were either wiped clean or défoliantes in the problem areas.
Day 38
29 July 20: watered ph to 6.6 given each approx 2.5 L. Been moving lately so plants haven’t been getting lots of attention. Pest seem to be lower at my new location.
Day 43
3 aug 20: broke my leg a week past which I am unable to care for the plants now. They will be watered with rain unless showing signs of severe under watering. Will have a friend reamend them. I topped the fruity hoops for a third time with FIMing as it’s smaller and bushier. I intended to Flower in a tent this week but due to my injury I’m unable to carry the plants in.
Day 47
07 Aug 20: lower sucker branches and foliage cleaned up, watered with kelp extract and NPK Grow Stage microbes at 1 tsp/Gal. Ph to 6.8 and Dechlorinated tap water.
Day 53
13 Aug 20: Watered ph to 6.4. Plain tap water dechlorinated. Plants were quite thirsty yesterday and sprung back up two hours after watering Today. Current leg injury preventing me from meeting their every need. Minor lollipopping and cleaning up of problematic fan leaves. Each plant given roughly 3.5 L of water.
Day 57
17 Aug 20: Reamended medium as I started noticing increased growth. Light cycle is supportive of flower. Closer inspection showed pre flower on both plants. Plants got 50/50 of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 at 1 tbsp/Gal top dressed in, loots root growth at the soil surface. Added in rock phosphate (Bat Guano) and glacial rock dust (micro nutrients/minerals). Always loved to throw in Bloom microbes from NPK industries and Dynomyco Mycorrhiza So the nutrients get converted to food for the roots asap. Ratios aren’t exact based on a bulk batch mixed.
Was doing some minor défoliations and cleaning off sucker growth. Accidentally ripped off one of the main fruity hoops tops (1/4).
Day 59
19 Aug 20: watered plants with 1 Gal of tap water ph 6.8, plants were looking sad this morning even after two storms of heavy rainfall.
Day 63
23 Aug 20: watered plants with 1 Gal each mixed with 1 tsp/Gal of Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract. Dechlorinated and PH to 6.5.
Day 65
25 Aug 20: watered plants with 1.25 Gallons Dechlorinated tap water ph to 6.8.
Day 66
26 Aug 20: defoliated the plant to allow more light penetration and cleaned up the bottom skirt removing most of the lower sucker branches and larf buds trying to develop.
Day 67
27 Aug 20: Heavy rains and cooler temps should tapper off watering so much. Plants need about a gallon every other day or the show signs of under watering.
Day 71
31 Aug 20: watered plants with 1.25 Gal ph to 6.7
Day 74
3 Sep 20: watered plants with 1 Gal ph to 6.4
Day 76
5 Sep 20: defoliated large fan leaves, sucker branch’s and smaller growth. Cooler temps the last few days showing lower rh. Mostly sunny with cloudy patches.
Day 77
6 Sep 20: after seeing some very early signs of PM developing On a larger bushier plant (no diary) I chose to defoliate atleast 50% of all fan leaves of the plants to minimize the spread of additional spores. These two plants did not show any signs but due to proximity this benefits them and allows more light to get in for flowering sites.
79:
08 Sept 12: Removed a few leaves from each plant to monitor for botrytis and PM as surrounding weeds in the yard are showing heavy signs on their leaves.
81:
10 Sept 12: Top dressed with 2 tsp/Gal of rock phosphate (0-9-0) for flower and fed a worm casting tea (1 cup/Gal) with unsulphured molasses to replenish the microbes in the soil. Watered a gallon each.
Day 88
17 Sept 20: plants are doing well with cooler outdoor temps. Fattening up mid flower. Watering with either rain water or every few days with aerated tap water.
Day 97
26 Sept 20: Moved plants indoor to 3x3 tent due to poor weather conditions, skyrocketing humidity. Currently finishing under 2 x HLG 135 R Spec.
Day 100:
29 Sept 20: discovered some minuscule powdery mildew spores growing on the the Fruity Hopes and outbreak of Aphids. Applied Hydrogen Peroxide for PM and moved plants back outside due to a growing number of visible aphids
Day 102.
01 Oct 20: very cold weather seems be affecting the aphid population and they only observable on the highest fan leaves of the plant. Did not want to apply any pesticides or solutions to affect taste/smell so close to harvest.
Day 104
03 Oct 20: Flowers beginning to fatten up with pistils continuing to grow.
Day 109
08 Oct 20: Moving along nicely about 7.5 weeks of flowering, nice purpling beginning to show. Fruity hoops looking close to ready with the Lemon Sapphire not far behind.
Day 111
10 Oct 20: woke to both plants having been stolen overnight. Tried to find out some info from neighbors, with no success. They are long gone.
13 Oct 20: Got word from a neighbour that they saw a plant similise to mine in the woods approx 1km away. Located on of the two plants and found two sites where they stripped the plants.
