I Forget

Iamthejazz123 Freebie from Seedsman. A day in a wet paper towel and a day in the dirt and it's above ground and seems to be growing strong.

Iamthejazz123 Day 11: transplanted into final 3 gallon container, no issues, roots looked great. Going to let it get to 6 nodes now, then top it. Undecided if I'll let lower nodes grow out or if I'll manifold this one.

Iamthejazz123 Day 18: I decided to try quad-lining this one, it's like manifolding but starting with 4 growth tips instead of 2 (in this case, from nodes 2 & 3), so I topped at 3rd node. Started feeding with nutes.

Iamthejazz123 Day 22: Supercropped the branches of the top node. While this plant seems to be growing well enough, it's also kind of droopy and the leaves are really dark (although there's no clawing or curling like from nitro tox. I'm certain the high temps have something to do with it, but I don't have any way to get it lower right now. Day 25: Preflowers showing female, continuing with LST, probably one more week till it's flowering.

Iamthejazz123 I gave it a good bit of LST this week, it's been very compact up until the last couple days, now it's stretching like crazy. The main stream and branches are super thick and sturdy, I bet this one is going to pack on some super chunky buds.

Iamthejazz123 Transitioned over to full flowering nutes now since the stretch seems to have stopped. This one stretched a good bit, seems to have some larger spacing between buds like some of the cookies strains I've grown, we'll see how much it fills in. I think this one is kinda sensitive about having JUST the right amount of moisture in the soil; the day I water it, the leaves will droop, the next day they're really perky, then day 3 they droop again even if the pot still has a good amount of water in it. This strain may do a bit better grown in coco or hydro because of the consistent moisture levels, although it's still strong and healthy in the soil I'm growing it in.

Iamthejazz123 Growing well, buds filling in nicely. Getting some lighter coloring on top leaves, not sure what's going on since this is the second plant doing this. PH is in proper range, temps/humidity are spot on, same nutes I've been using for a while now. The only thing I can think is that the light is overpowered for the size of my tent, so I dimmed the light about 30%and raised it a hair.

Iamthejazz123 Just coasting along now, giving it full flower nutes, it feeds about every 2.5 to 3 days. It's starting to fatten up nicely; if it continues like this it'll have Coke-can colas like my Alaskan Purple did. Pretty plant, very strong, leaves never get droopy. Moving the light up and turning down the drivers to about 66% stopped all the bleaching I could see was just beginning to start on the top leaves. I think my tent is just a tad too small for this light at full power.

Iamthejazz123 Still fighting whatever it is that's causing my leaf problems. I hadn't flushed since before flowering started and I'm kinda thinking it's a nutrient burn/lockout issue, I've been feeding them max strength with bloom booster almost since flowering started. I flushed with 2 gallons of water and then for the next feeding only used half strength on the nutes without adding bloom booster. I'll be alternating with feeds/flushes now, so we'll see how it goes.

Iamthejazz123 Chugging right along, not much new to report. Probably start flushing in a week or so. Nutrient burn/lockout is finally over, heavily affected leaves continue to slowly die off, which is fine. It's also slowing down on how much it's drinking, so I think we're on the back end of flowering. Smells exactly like Limes.
