June 24, 2020. Here we go again. Starting this girl off with a bath untill she sinks then i to a damp paper towel. First time auto so lets see what happens. June 28th. Transfered into rockwool today instead of paper towel. Hoping this goes well. Changed my mind and put her in some rockwool. Things started off great but have gone down hill. Seedlings browning on the leaf tips and curling up... advice would be much much appreciated 😳
Neither one of my new seedlings seem to be doing very well. This one isnt as brown as the other but its leaves are starting to curl. There still ridged but are curling up.
Based on information in your week one post you could be looking at heat stress, for such young autos you could raise your lights pretty high on them(even 30-40ins above), id suggest keeping your temperature a bit lower around 24-26 and see how they like it!
Havent found any help for the issue my little girls having.. browning and drooping. Leaves are still ridged but curling up. My heat was a bit high but iv fixed that. So now @ 24C and 65 RH 24hr lights. No nutrients yet but have a very dilute 1:1:1 of the GH trio mixture.. no help
I had some autos do this too and I had better luck starting seedlings behind a screen or off to the side of my tent so the light wasn't so direct and intense. My autos also seem to like a little rest, like 4-6 hours of dark.
After hitting some unexpected bumps in the road it seemss we are back on track. Still no roots coming kut od the bottom of the net pot but she looks much healthier.
Shes been growing pretty good. Thinking I will start feeding her this week. July 27 root explosion. Im really liking the way the roots are growing out of the rockwool. My first grow I put the seed straight in the hydroton and the roots only came out of on end of the net backet. Gave shelly her first feed today aswell. Im not overly consered but there is some discoloration on some of the leaves. Anyone know whats up?
Doing some lst to control the hight of this lil girl that I have dubbed Shelly. Shes coming along nicely. August 9th and shelly seems to be goong into flower but her leaves look kinda fucked lol. Not sure whats up. Any idea?
Shelly was not happy for a few days there. Only thing I can attribute it to was her pH was hobering really low so I have some pH up. It was around 5.4 for a day or so and with the pH up she was back around 5.8. The next day she threw a fit. I think this girl likes her water spicy. Did some light defoliation and some more lst. First time auto and I think its going ok. 👌
flowering seems to be going really well so far. This being my first auto im not sure how much abuse she can take via defoliation etc but all is going smoothly so far.
Shelly seems to be bulking up nicely she initially had some slight nut burn when I uped the ppm but shes thriving now with a stable ppm and pH. Grow baby grow.
shellys buds are fattening up nicely. Wasnt sure she was going to fill out at first with the flower sites being so far apart. Still learning. Second grow and Shelly is making me proud. Smells much stronger then my first grows pink kush.
I began flushing this week and will be harvesting by the end of the week. Pretty sure Shellys fully bulked. Tricomes are mostly milky with about 20% amber. Cant wait to take my first taste.
Iv cuter down and am just waiting on final weights to post the harvest. She smells amazing. My only wish is that there was more of it. Not sure how I could have gone about getting a higher yeild. For my first auto im lretty happy.
This grow was only my second but by far the easiest. I didnt expect to get much yeild but I was pleasantly surprised by getting 1.9 oz.!!! This strain definitely lives up to its name an smells exactly like tangerines 😍 It smokes super smooth and delicious. The buds are quite a bit smaller then the Indica in my first grow and im not quite sure if thats just typical of a sativa.
Very pleasantly suprised by the yeild but I think I could have gotten more. I have a lot more to learn but am very happy with this strain. By far the best smoke iv grown so far and will be growing again aswell as trying the none auto version.
