Bottom Watering with blumat surface

i just removed my blumat classics, they saved my ass i let the tangie go for 2 weeks without me touching anything, i'm waiting on the magical beautiful amazing blumat SURFACE for capillary watering, something i always wanted to try, that pretty much means it waters from the bottom up, it looks like magic hopefully it fucking works just germinated the seeds the bigger plant is the Tangie Matic from fastbuds, no nutes yet, testing FFOF for the first time, there's rocks and wood chips in this soil what the fuck

i hooked up one blumat per 2x4 trays with drippers spread around for more even water distribution, at the bottom of the tray there is a layer of capillary mat, the blumat sensor/water gauge (green and clay part) is directly on the capillary mat, the black plastic on top is perforated to let water thru, and it's there to stop light from reaching the mat to prevent algae from growing what is really cool is that the water is coming from the bottom of the pot, the roots supposedly suck as much moisture as they need, never too much, never not enough, and thats when the blumat scensor is dialed in propelly, it's suposed to take a couple days also no pump, no electric electronic nothing, it's all gravity and magic i guess it's freshly installed and everything is working as it should so far

the Surcafe Blumat are keeping the bottom 2/3 of my pots what seems like perfectly moist, not wet not dry. All i have to do is check the reservoir pH and add a little pH down everyday, because it goes up on it's own i have not done SHIT on this grow,some lst and just refill the humidifier and blumat reservoir with phed tap water

NOTICE THE EXPLOSIVE GROWTH COMPARED TO LAST WEEK no nutrients yet, just tap water in fox farm ocean forest all i have to do is refill the water tank every few days growing twice as fast as any other of my grows, no wet dry cycles, always moist with VPD in check

LST before the bud fattening stage, not much to update, beautiful green leaves fast growth, early flower stretch on a couple plants, others are just starting to show pistils

all the pots have the soil ph at 6.2 except one at 5.8 and it's showing... yellow leaves, slow growth. only one plant tho and it's going to be a easy fix everything else it beautiful! i fed them a fertilizer tea at 1/4 strength. To make the tea i let sit a sock full of of Dr Earth dry amendments mixed together 50/50 (see pictures) for 24 hours in water this stuff is pretty strong it gave me some burned tips at 1/4 strength so be carefull

nothing much to report, growing pretty good fertilizer tea seems like it fixed some deficiencies on the couple plants that had some, nice new growth

well all these plants are pretty skimpy, i realized after harvest that the roots are all in the bottom 1/4 of the pot, so they could never use all the nutrients in the soil, so the bottom watering didn't work very good i will try the "blumat troph" for my next grow, same concept but it's top watering all the burned leaves happened overnight when the temp. was 95f and the humidity dropped very low so it pretty much killed all the leaves, so i harvested kind of early because of that mistake
