Do I need to defoliate her harder ? I Think some of the buds are blocking the sun out of others, I am afraid the buds won't be fat. I am also afraid if I defoliate wrongly she could lose a lot of photosynthesis. What do you guys think ? I should try to lst her down a lot more

Defoliating as the plant enters flower and then three weeks after it has entered flowering. It helps with all sorts of things. Airflow to reduce mould and increase bud size. The plant gives a higher yield as less pop corn buds are developed. A good rule of thumb is to defoliate until light can touch the centre stalk. Works a dream with outdoor plants

I really wonder what her flowering will be like with all her inter nodes being so away. That being said I really like her preflowering smell and I think she's going to be more than potent. A friend tell me this strain was fire. I never tried any peyote whatsoever so I'm happy to grow it. It's the first time I try puting a tomato cage around a baby but I have no clue if it is going to help or not. I always wondered why do people say that regular seeds are better than feminized, is it due to the fact that often feminization is done wrong and will result in herm? Can y'all enlighten me there ?

18/07 Hey there fam, I hope you and your babies are all doing well, this week, the Peyote Critical has been having a great time, she smells pretty good for a "1st" week of flowering. There are weeds growing under my baby tree, should I kill em? I love it when my cat takes a nap under the Peyote She has a lot of leafs I am going t wait a bit then defoliate more of her I gave her nothing but plain water for this week, 20/30L every two days Next to this baby is a tomato plant that has some aphids on it, good news is that at least 50% of them are dead eaten by a ladybug I think (white corpses) I wonder if the aphids are not going to taste this juicy Peyote

24/07 The Peyote Critical is doing really well here, we have had a nice week weather around 25-33 °C the nights are warm, there is a little bit of wind not too much, not too few, and she has the most hours of sun / day of the whole babies. She is smelling more and more, she already has some calyx, and I was wondering if that wasn't a bit early due to the fact that no budlets have been formed at all, none. I was wondering if I should take them off, as they will probably die anyway because when the buds will be really formed those things will be so old, what do you think? She had grown a lot of leafs, I think she is going to be a beauty, I think her stretch is really close to the end, so I hope buds will form soon! I started smelling the calyxes and for the first they smell real nice ! not hard pungent smell but a sensible one, I think I am going to like her ! I haven't grown any peyote strain neither have I tasted any so I am excited about this. I measured her, and he is 125 cm ! I didn't measure her wideness. I think I am going to bend her down again soon, some bud sites are really in the shadow. I did put bat guano again and I am scared of putting too much, or not enough.. I have the picture of the npk ration and oligo elements if you could tell me your opinion ;) Ps : I observed this later and I wonder if it means anything or not, I saw that older leaves have like 7/9 number of leaves and the new she is doing are only 5, does that mean anything? I have no clue, thank you for your advice ! Also, some of her older leaves are turning yellow, should I pick em?

Hello This fertilizer can definitely be used, use it sparingly and pay attention to how the plant responds to it. Using dry amendments for soil can be a great way to fertilize over time and let the soil do it's job, and at least the ph is showing the correct range for what cannabis growers need. If you're interested in setting up a super soil or an amended soil you should listen to this podcast I love called Kis organics cannabis cultivation and science podcast at kisorganics.com they are all living soil, organic type guys and they talk a lot about using dry amendments versus bottled nutrients. Happy growing.

29/07 Hey guys, I hope everything is doing well for you and your babies! We have had a great sunny week, the Peyote is growing again and again, I did not meter her this week but I will do it next one. I have bend her just before taking pictures of her, and I was wondering if I should bend the main cola too(without breaking it of course!!) There has been a lot of wind lately, her leafs really were dancing furiously I hope it did not damage her. I have seen a ladybug on a cola, it's always a pleasure to see those around ! I also defoliated some of the leafs and future colas, I was wondering if ever hurting the future bud could stress the plant. I don't think I have gottent out enough leafs. I think I will defoliate the top cola as well because there are some dark leafs that seem to be trapped between a bud site and the main stem. She is smelling more and more, I do not mean when I smell the trichomes but the general odor of the plant is clearly not stealthy. Talking about stealth I just saw a neighbor fly a drone over my land. Once it got close to the plants, they flew it back to their house. Idk what to think of that, they are new neighbors and I have no idea if ever they could sell me out. By the way I have created an IG account specially for this, feel free to follow me and I will check what beautiful pictures you have there ! You have all a nice day and take care of yourself and of your babies, always naturally of course, thank you for following this beauty. 🇫🇷

04/08 Hey, this week was pretty good, a lot of sun, some wind, and a bit of rain, I kept on bending her but it is not finished yet. I have started defoliating her harder and I was wondering if that was enough or not, so feel free to tell me what you think ! She is flowering more and more but the buds are not formed yet !

11/08 Great week so far, except for the fact that she is being attacked by a lot of things ! She is stronger and wider, her buds will soon start to be formed. I am wondering if I should put wood ashes on it. I am probably going to buy blackstrap molasses! I am still wondering about defo, should I do it more? A lot more? There are few branches that are not well placed and there are big holes in the canopy and I was wondering if I could do something about it.

18/08 She is flowering a lil bit more and more, and I keep on defoliating her, but I do not take too much leaves because I want her to keep having the most photosynthesis possible. She has become so big, I don't know if it's too late to get the cage off and bend her down hard, but I am scared it will hurt her a lot, and then the wind could break her so I think I will not to anything peculiar! I do not realize how big she has gotten as I see her every day, tell me what do you think ! You could also try guessing the final scale, the winner will get 15 seeds of my future breeding, GDA(Astro Kush x(GDPxgumberry)) x Peyote Critical, so go on, participate and good luck ! I will keep on bending her and defoliating her leaves that are in the shade ! Thank you for following my plants, I hope you and your plants are doing well, take care, luv from 🇫🇷

25/08 The weather has been a little bit weird, a lot of wind, a bit of sun and some rain. Lots of cloudy days. She is flowering nicely, I can smell her a bit more. Some of her leaves are having problems and I don't know why. I am creating Fermented Fruit Juice for her flowering. I am doing one with pears, one with apples, one with grape and one with blackberry. I think I have defoliated her enough but I will keep on picking little leaves that turn yellow. Now that the buds are formed, do you think they will become big?

01/09 They are flowering a little bit more every week, the smell is going to well, and the buds are forming !! I did not measure her this week but I am pretty sure she will become bigger than the "180cm" limit than barneys put on their website. She is so cute. I have already bred this one with my Grand Daddy Astrologist male, so I will try this 2nd breeding next year. I did give her 10L of diluted Fermented Fruit Juice (apple ones) If ever you have any advise, feel free to enlighten me !! For instance I do not know if I defoliated her hard enough, 2nd I do not know if I should feed her FFJ once a week or more often or.. So If you have any knowledge about it feel free to chat with me !! Thank you for following this baby, I really love her ! I hope yours are doing well !!

08/09 The week was sunny it is nice to finally have some sun after some rain and cloudy days. I am happy she is flowering really well, she smells really strong. As you can observe on some photos, I have crossed this peyote with a male Astro Kush x (GDP x gumberry), I had named my new one Grand Daddy Astrologist and now I am asking you to give me some name ideas for this one (GDA x Peyote Critical) Everyday I have at least one bee that comes and goes on some buds, who know maybe I'll have a secret breed if ever the bees had male pollen! They are starting to bud nicely and are smelling better and better! The trichomes are really starting to sprout !! I only gave her some bat guano this week. Thank you for your likes and comments! I hope your ladies and you had a nice week !

Hey! She's looking nice and healthy, pretty bushy so it's hard to see the exact structure. If you see her starting to tilt in a certain direction I would giver her some support, like they say better save than sorry. You never know when theres going to be stronger winds that might throw that cola to the side and snap it. Hope this helps, good luck!
