6/4:
Finishing up my autos in the closet, so starting another batch of seeds to run outdoors this summer.
All three seedlings emerged within 48 hours! They're in 24oz starter pots now in the closet, but I'll transplant them into 1 gallon pots. I'm moving my finishing FFT clones in the tiny tent into the closet soon, so I'll move these seedlings into my tiny tent until big enough to take outdoors.
6/13:
Looking good. I transplanted them into 1-gallon pots today and fed them full strength nutes.
I was focused on harvests and other stuff and neglected this diary. They spent the whole week in the tiny tent under 300w in 1- gallon pots, then I took them outdoors and transplanted them into 3 gallon pots.
7/6:
Heavy thunderstorms last night and half the day today, so they won't be ready to eat again for a few days. I went out to the site about an hour after it quit raining today and saw HUNDREDS of tiny little green grasshoppers feasting on my girls!!! I immediately sprayed them all down with pyrethrins, and did it again right before dark.
I've got the fan blowing across the pots to try to dry them out faster.
I started using TPS One (one part nute solution) the other day, and the plants seem to love it. Really growing well, but I'm glad I amended their soil with some happy frog fruit and flower granular fertilizer this time. They get fed whether it's too wet or not.
7/7:
More grasshoppers this morning..I sprayed with pyrethrins. Very cloudy day...glad I've got 470w of supplemental light above them all day/every day (and another 200w in reserve)😎
All week was spent in "recovery mode"....flushed them really well with sledgehammer and sprayed them with boom boom spray, then waited a couple days...then fed them a little boomerang, waited a couple days, then fed them a little more boomerang and sprayed them with kelp and silica...
The biggest one didn't make it, but at least I took a bunch of clones from her. Both the other ones lost a little foliage, but will be fine I think.
I resumed normal feedings this week and foliar fed them with kelp and silica a few times. I sprayed them with Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae mycoinsecticides (a little late in the game, but oh well) and I also sprayed all the clones so they hopefully have more resistance to pests.
The two survivors are both flowering now...the sicker/smaller one is budding up pretty quickly, and the other one is much healthier and stretching like crazy. I had to tie her down again...she's in the shape of the letter "S" now...
Problems with the mister fan...which really sucks because it's been so hot. I seem to have the pests under control at the moment, but horrible conditions are still stressing them out pretty bad.
I'm pretty depressed about the outdoor grow and think I've decided to just forsake my own edict and just gonna grow all the clones in my closet to ensure that I at least have a solid summer yield to live on. There are (I think) 8 x #4, 4 x #2, and 3 x #10 clones which I may track in a different diary.

I've decided to grow the 8 clones in my closet.. I took them from the plants that died ..lucky gals, getting to avoid the solar bugstorm..
I'll track them in a separate diary with the other 7 clones I took from my outdoor garden and 3 autoflower seedlings....a tight squeeze for sure.
The S-plant continues to bud up, albeit slowly, but the sickly plant is budding up very quickly. I transplanted the S-plant into a 5 gallon bucket and gave her a handful of compost and a sprinkle of myco.
8/10:
Sustained high temps and a drove of hoppers were too much for them...and I think I have root aphids in this soil....treating shortly...
All dead, all dead....all dead and gone.....but 5 of their clones live on in my closet!👈
