First coco coir grow. Northern lights.

Uncle_Alf First week Air pots in cupboard under 18-6 light. Some great growth in the first week!

Uncle_Alf i had these far too low in the pot's had to remove some dying material from around the base to allow easier feeding and stop wasting of energy. Otherwise some very good growth with a double take in nutrients. very happy so far with coco and air pots and so are the plants they seem to doublt every 2 or 3 days so far!

Uncle_Alf lowered them ready for the switch to 12/12 pulled away some of the older fan leaves and readying for future LST (metal wire seperating etc)

Uncle_Alf stripped 50% of foliage down again and continued right on growing. Topped main plant tops and used metal wiring to help seperate the brandces for better light access!

Uncle_Alf Further defoliation. Apparently the plants too strong for the metal wire i used during LST will get twine and try to get some light in the middles without such drastic de-foliage! Going to feed every 12 hours and see if we can't squeeze a lil more growth out of her

Uncle_Alf more growth almost filled my cupboard defoliation doesn't seem to hinder growth at this point im just trying to keep the center clear for light

Uncle_Alf have to keep defoliation up, If the growth rate continues i am going to need bigger buckets to store the trim for oil!!

Uncle_Alf it finally stopped growing up! defoliated top 40-50% of vegatation. Aldo increased feed frequency to twice a day. So 750 mil twice a day per plant and a half turn once a day plants seem to be loving it the buds coming slowly and we have 4 weeks left 3 till flush! My best grow i have done so far by far and definitely the best grow so far for plant health! Lets see what yields are like!

Uncle_Alf back down to 1l feedings doesn't seem to want more than that. might trim once or twice more as only got 3 weeks left might just leavem be and see how they get on for a week or so see if they fatten up or not.

Uncle_Alf extractor fan broke and had to be replaced. may have disturbed them a little too much i can't say that i saw much of any growth this week. Will give some extra water today see how we get on after that. i am not doing anything else to them now leave em be till time to take them down and harvest.

Uncle_Alf Weird week noticed some dark purple leaves looked like phosphorous deficiency so flushed and then adjusted by nutrients just to make sure. got some trichomes and it is almost ready for harvest a week or 3 and done!!

Uncle_Alf Found bud rot on one fo the top buds unfortunately my extraction fan had cut out and a damaged part of the bud had decided to rot. So pulled it all down after checking trichomes. Considering first grow in coco coir and the problems with the extraction fan. I am very happy with the results and will not be returning to hydro! Will be starting another grow in a couple of weeks after i install a new extraction system all fancy with digital control panel!
