Day 49 - 710 Diesel Auto I hope she went through her final stretch and will quit stretching otherwise I'll be forced to re-trellis and add stress during flower which I don't want to do. I regret using these big pots for my autoflowers - if I had instead used four 3gal pots I think I could achieve the same scrog effect and be 2 full weeks further into flower by this point and I wouldn't be combating the height. Lessons for next time I guess. This girls trunk is much thicker then the haze im growing her with and she's also bushier and drys out much faster and shows little signs of deficiency on new growth so I guess she's hungrier too. I think the breeders description about this strains potential in the right hands has something to it. Too bad I'm the one growing her 😁 Light: Platinum LED P300 set to bloom+veg mode @ 16" above plant providing about ~60,000 LUX at the top. Feeding: RO water w/ Advanced Nutrients pH perfect grow/bloom/micro line up, CalMag Plus, Recharge and Terpinator. Environment: 4x2 Grow Tent. Temps low of 64 - high of 80 with RH of ~60% Soil: ~6 gallons of Foxfarm Ocean Forest w/ 4 quarts of perlite added. If you see anywhere that you think I can improve please drop a comment – thanks for reading

Grow Questions

What do you guys think is wrong with my leaves? I think it's lightburn because it seems especially bad and concentrated directly under the grow light but then again I see some off these spots far away from the light so I'm unsure. Over-fertilization maybe? Mostly on canopy level

Light burn would only affect the portions of the plant closest to the light. What you have here is nute burn. 73 ml/gal is a lot I would flush this plant as quickly as possible to prevent it from killing your whole grow. Even if you didn’t see any problems in the past. The salts from these types of fertilizers will build up creating a toxic environment within your soil.

looks like LED burn to me. I had the same thing when my LED’s were 16-18” from the canopy (seemed more severe under my LED with more reds for flowering). I’ve since raised the LED’s to be 24-30” above and don’t see issues like this anymore with new growth. The damaged leaves will not change back to green but you should stop seeing new leaves affected.

Using RO water you must always add 100ppm of Cal Mag, maybe you could have used Sensi Cal Mag Xtra instead pH Perfect Micro to avoid these lil deficiency.

I'm adding 5ml of Cal Mag per gallon of RO water from now on - Also good point above about my soil running out of nutes in general, I think you're right about that so I'm turning it up in my next feedings. Thanks

I defoliate my autos personally. I used to do more defoliation but now only defoliating twice, once around the start of the stretch, than once about 3 weeks into flower. Might be adding a week or two for the plants to harvest, but it does also seem to pump up the yield. Totally up to you though. I’m sure you’ll get a variety of answers on this.

is this from the 710 genetics breeder?

@BlazedSaiyan, nope this is the first time growing from this breeder and I don't know anyone else that has. I'm thinking about buying their cheese auto but recently I noticed their website had been updated and they have a new line for 2018 so maybe ill try one of them.

@AvoidantGrower, Ive been taking a look at them but not many people online have ran their stuff, have you ran anything else by them or know people who have?
