Hi again Growdiaries friends, welcome to my new diary. This time I choosed a strain from Royal Queen Seeds, Royal Critical Automatic, a strain with good genetics, strong and easy to grow and is known for its bigger yealds. Day 1 - Germination : I've used an Airpot this time (I want to see the roots coming out from the holes, LOL), the substract is Light Mix from Biobizz and I used Aqua Clay Pebbles from Canna at the bottom of the pot to make the drainage easier, the seed was planted directly into the soil, 15 mm deep, slightly watered with a syringe to not move the soil too much(good for the seedling in the future as well) and put the pot in a dark place (3 principles for a good germination are warm, moisture and darkness) Day 4 - Seedling : The seed has finally sprouted but I kept it there until the end of the day and then I've passed the pot to its new place under 250W Hps lamp from Lumatek (maybe too much for the seedling but it's 80 cm far from the plant) Day 6 - as the weather is very hot I've put a few wet clothes on the ground trying to raise the humidity and some Clay Pebbles at the top near the plant to keep the soil moisture.

Hi guys, I would like to ask, in the seedling phase the plant does not have a big root system so I'm just giving it 80 ml per day and because it's very hot the surface dry really quick so I'm watering every day. Should I give it more to avoid watering every day?

Hi again! This week was a little bit messy because it's the first time with the air pot but I think I'm in the right way! So resuming what I wrote on my own diary: Day 9 - Seedling: Watered with 4 strings of 24ml Day 10 - I had a bad feeling about fungus(I don't know why, LOL) but my parents always taught me that "if have you have a bad feeling it came for a reason, lol, so I took out the plant from the grow room and cleaning time has began. Lol I've changed the wet cloths too. Day 11 - A Growdiaries friend gave me a tip to not fill the pot too much at the beginning but instead fill it with 3/4 of substract and later cover the stem, so I've tried to reproduce it at my own way and I covered the stem with clay pebbles, let's see the result and I watered with 6 syrings. Day 12 - The plant looks beautiful. Day 13 - I measured her today and she doesn't have 10 cm yet. So the fertiliser mission was aborted. I filled the rest of the pot with clay pebbles and covered the stem one more time. I watered with 8 syrings. Day 14 - I've noticed that the leafs are a little bit curled maybe lack of water (these airpots are very tricky) so I decided to water every day. 8 syrings for today as well. Day 15 - watered with 0,5 L And that's all see next week. Happy growing 👍

For the Airpot users, It's a fact that the soil dry and need to be watered every day. According to biobizz's schedule for a watering of 2 to 3 times a week 2ml should be gaved so If I'm watering every day I have to give less nutrients per time right, maybe half the dosage?

If your growing in soil and it drys that fast is good but i would feed once a week not everyday, and i would only feed when i see the plants are needing more. That avoids overfeeding. Feeding is always best by measuring your ec and your diary says 7 ph. Thats to high for veg. Around 6.3 for veg, 6.5 for flower. Cheers friend

Hi bro Without airpot i was watering once a week with big amount of water. With airpot i am actually watering less amount but more often as the little holes makes the soil dry faster (dividing my nut by two but this is because of the plant not the pot) I am on a 0.4 l everyday in average Watering 1.2l every 3-4 days. Cheers and good luck.

Hello again GD friends, This week went very well and the girl started the vegetation phase, so summarizing: Day 16 - I watered with 0.5l of water Day 17 - The girl seems to have reached a height of 13 cm, so, according to biobizz, this is the perfect time to start with some fertilizers, so I'm going to use an energy booster, Bio Heaven, which improves the moisture retention . 1 ml to 0.5 l of water. Day 18 - watered with 0.5l with 1ml of Bio Heaven Day 19 - The first five finger leaves (Indica leaf) are about to appear, it is a sign that the vegetative phase is coming. I'm still struggling with the watering because I think I'm watering too often, so I'm going to water with 0.5 l with B Heaven and wait a while to see the reaction. Day 21 - Finally, the Reflector that I ordered (Daisy 60cm from Secret Jardin) arrived, so now I can have the reflector closest to the plant with more confidence, because it is made of a material that does not heat the growing room as much . The first five finger leaves appeared, so tomorrow it will receive the first LST. Day 22 - The girl is beautiful and already has 4 nods, it's the perfect time for LST and to compensate her for the stress caused, I'm adding something new to the mix, Biobizz's Active-vera, for a healthy and much stronger plant. So 1L with 2ml of Active-vera and 2ml of Bio Heaven. Cheers guys see you next week

Hello GD friends, this week was good the girl has entered in the second week of vegetation with health the side of the main cola is a little bigger than the other but with some LST I'll achieve an equal canopy for sore, so: Day 23 - Vegetation - Some leaves tend to block the so I pull them out because at this I don't like to defoliate Day 25 - In the morning when lights were off I sprayed the leaves with Bio Protect from Green Hope to prevent bugs and fungus, at night I watered with 2L of water with 4 ml of Bio Heaven and Active-Vera Day 27 - I sprayed the leaves with Bio Protect trying to alternate between watering and spraying to decrease the humidity Day 28 - since the first week of vegetation (since the first five finger leaf) has passed, it's time for the first nuts. Water 2L, Biogrow 2ml, Bioheaven 4 ml and Active-Vera 4ml And that's all for this week, Happy growing

This week was very well, the girl showed her first pistils and she's stronger and healthier than ever, so: Day 30 sprayed with bioprotect Day 31 watered with 3l of water with 6 ml of bh, bg an a-v Day 33 The first pistils are appearing sign that blooming phase has begun. Day 34 water with the mix Day 35 I've turned on the dehumidifier trying to decrease the humidity and starting to defoliated some lower leaves, 3/4 leaves per day stress the plant to much. See you next week Happy growing

Hello again GD friends, This week was very well, I can see pistils all over de place and the bottom of the canopy was almost fully defoliated, so Day 37 - watered with 4L w/ 8 ml BG, BH, A-V, and 4ml of Biobloom Day 38 - I've turned on the superlumens mode of my ballast that never been used, but Lumatek says that encreases the light spectrum, will see. Day 41- I've noticed the plant a little bit sad and the pot very light, so I decided to encrease the quantity of water to half the pot's capacity and ferts accordingly. See you next week Happy growing

Probably over or underwatering, after you do your normal watering procedure check the soil for dry spots where the water may not have spread into, or before watering check for moisture from the underside of the pot and check if the soil dried up properly. And water untill you get run off. It may also be from heat or the early stages of K(and possibly P too) toxicity, check the tips of the leaves for burn. But if there is no burn starting up then its most likely a watering or heat issue, if this is happening mostly on the upper sections then its most likely heat, from the color of your picture i assume that you got a HPS/HID flower light, wich makes a lot of heat and would explain it, make sure ur termometer is sitting at the level of the tops of your plants to get a accurate reading, preferably right under the light, in the center of the tent where the heat concentrates the most.

Hello GD friends, Second week of bloom and I can already see the colas full of buds. Once again I had problems with the waterings and I notice that the girl could be more happy and a little bit disappointed with the aeropot. So I added Alg-A-Mic to the mix to compensate her for the stress. I've watered on days 45 and 8 with 8L and I cut all of the bottom leaves. See you next week Happy Growing

Very good, the girl has entered in the 4th week, the buds are developing well, now will stop growing and spend all there energy on the buds so it's time to remove all of the LST to give the branches some structural support. I've watered on day 52 with 8l with 16ml of all the other ferts and today I've given it bloombastic for the first time. Go girl Happy growing Until next week

There is one bud that hasn't developed, it has yellow leaves. Have this happened to anyone? Could this be bud rot? What should I do?

The plant isn't ready and the buds will swell more as the plant is closer to harvest. You would know if it was bud rot because, in the beginning, bud rot attacks a plant's stem, which will appear mushy and gray. As the infection progresses, signs of bud rot are characterized by wilted, yellow, and burnt leaves. It's tricky to spot bud rot ahead of time because the fungus first takes hold inside the plant and works its way to the outside. The plant is suffering from too much calcium which severely limiting phosphate availability. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember " Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time ".

Hi GD friends, First week of flush but I think I did it too early by the pistils colours... but it's a way to save fertilisers to the next grow anyway. The plant has signs of underfeeding all over but the buds themselves are fat and beautiful. 2 waterings of 8L this week. 2 weeks to harvest or as soon as I see the first amber trichomes to a more uplifting high. Happy growing
