Pre Germination - Let tap water sit out for 24 hours to evaporate any extra chemicals. Filled 3 gal pots with PRO-MIX Balanced pH of gallon water jugs to between 6.6 - 6.4 using pH up/down. Added 2 tsp of AN Voodoo Juice to water mixture Pre-soaked the soil with the water mixture and let sit out overnight under light. Day 1 - Germination Will be germinating in the final pot. Going to plastic wrap tops of the pots after placing the seed 1 cm down into the soil. Then we wait... Day 2-4 - Waiting... Kept temperatures steady around 72-74 degrees and humidity stayed up somewhere between 65- 50% Day 5 - Woke up and it was like Christmas morning. We have little baby plants! Both still look like they have the seed casing still on so we will be gentle and wait. But I removed the plastic wrap over the pots to give the little plants full access to the lights. Now we hope these babies starting growing! Will also be switching lights to 18-6 rotation. Day 7 - Plants continue to look healthy, at least to me. Soil is still wet, so no need to water anytime soon. We have been having issues with humidity in the tent, but thats partially because of the area of the country I live in. It's just a heatwave right now even through a temp controlled house its still hot. Brought in another extra fan but don't want to run it too much... worried about electric costs.

Can someone please look at my Auto NL, and tell me if the leaves are looking discolored or if something else is going on? It's probably nothing but I feel like a concerned parent lol. We had given it maybe 1 tsp of voodoo juice in the soils pre-soak session before germination.

Looks like something gave her a minor displeasure. Dont be to alarmed as she looks rather fine. Bet by her next node and set of new leaves. Her foliage will be green vibrant and a sorted out. Make sure to keep her on in range and do not over water her and she will be booming in no time. Happy growing and stay lit fam

How early is too early to start LST? I know the stems are usually pretty good but I am little worried the stalks are still a little flimsy to be bending?

Check out my diaries, got LST going at about the same age as yours...It depends, if you are planning to top and scrog then don't LST yet until you have 4 - 10 nodes (8-20 branches) and begin. If you want to LST now then preferably do so. I am LST-ing my plants now in order to get them facing upward for all the nodes to LST again and grow as many nodes as possible and then top whilst in veg. (Warning: you need to twist the stem to keep the nodes growing equally and to expose them to the light without having to defoliate the leaves). I also would suggest bending your stem when its thicker before it becomes wood. OR if you are topping, then top first and then LST would be best for equal height when Scrogging. Good luck!

On my auto SD, it seems like my initial stalk and leaves are starting to turn spotted or brownish in some places. is that from heat of the lamp, nut deficiency or nut overload? It grew a branch out and those leaves look great and are really coming out fast, but...

Bottom leaves tend to always bring up problems, maybe suggestively get a Nutrient tracker and make sure you giving the plants the nutrients it needs, too little is often much better as too much. Especially in its early stages of veg as the plants has its own nutrients. Many people get it wrong when they think they should give nutrients in the beginning. It's in my opinion not needed at all other than water and maybe a Nitrogen solution would be best. Once your plant is in its 2nd month then Nutrients are very important as long as they are regulated as again the plant doesn't need alot of nutrients, may only need Nitrogen and Magnesium Sulphate (Epsom Salt). But from there this should provide you with a better crop whilst in Veg. Good luck

I saw you using voodoo juice, but I didn't see anything about any other nutrients. If all you are giving them is voodoo juice, they may be hungry.

Looking good! My NL Auto has been a darker green than expected, partially due to hot soil but also partly how the genetics are. Next time you take pics, do so without the grow light on so we can see what the natural color is of the leaves. Besides that, most NL Auto reviews talk about how they need a lot less nutrients, and in the seedling stage it's easy to drown with water (a solo cup's worth should do the trick). Keep up the good grow!
