First grow EVER. Haha, so I have this little girl and a Liberty Haze on another diary. I tried rockwool on Liberty and RR on Kush. The RR was definitely easier. There’s a week difference because I had a sprout die and had to replant a seed. Shouldn’t make a huge difference as I plan on tipping and SCROGing.
I’ve already learned a lot about setting up a space and when I eventually upgrade, I’ll have a better execution. So any experts are welcome to follow and critique my mistakes and/or offer advice. I’d truly appreciate it!! ✌️&🍕
This week has been pretty good. Humidifier died on Sunday, picked up a new one and the temp rose to 79. Plant wilted for the first 8 hours or so and then settled into her new environment. She is sitting in a RDWC with a Liberty Haze that needed to get more nutes, so I bumped the nutes up to 600 ppm. She hasn’t missed a beat. So far this strain hasn’t given me any problems whatsoever. Knock on wood it stays that way! Slight smell coming off of her, no particular notes, just a plant smell. 4 nodes in and the 5th is sprouting. I’ll be topping and training soon!
Resilient is the word I’m using for this girl on week 3. I messed up and added the wrong nutes to the res and my other plant suffered the brunt of it. The lemon Lady really didn’t have any ill effects outside of a few small spots on a couple of leaves. I topped her this week and she hasn’t slowed whatsoever. Also did some LSTing so she can spread those wings and start to explode up to the Scrog.
LAK is chugging along like a champion. She hasn’t quite exploded in growth, but she’s also got another week (maybe two) in veg to stretch those legs and get some size. I LST’d her and tried to keep up with the pressure so she stays nice and wide. First time for LST for me so I hope to improve next time.
Today is flip day for my tent. I’d like to see this girl get another week but space is at a premium right now! This week was pretty good, as she packed on more branches and started to really even out. The main 2 branches are looking great. She’s mostly filled her square, so I’m happy with where she’s at. Res drain, new nutes, and some tlc is what’s in order.
First week after flip has been chill. LAK has been a breeze and without any major problems. She’s gained a bit of size this week and is trying to make sure the other doesn’t overrun the tent.
LAK is back at it with smooth sailing and nice progress. I defoliated this week and she pushed up nice and quick. Her hairs have started coming in thick. Can’t wait to see next week’s progress!
LAK is putting on some weight this week and the flowers are definitely starting to pack on. She’s fighting for space with the monsterous Liberty, but is holding her own.
LAK has been packing on the flowers and the trichs are popping. I’d like her to grow just a bit taller so the second screen can keep the branches secure, but she isn’t leaning at all yet so no complaints. She’s still fighting for space with the Liberty but I don’t see any deficiencies to worry about.
Happy 4/200 peeps! LAK is looking and smelling and feeling sticky dank. Gonna defoliate this week and try to get her primed for fattening up in the second half of flower. I’ve seen some slight brown spots on leaves and tips, so any advice on what you think is wrong would be great. That’s all for now.. put something in the air for PoppaMac today!!
After a res change, LAK is perking right back up and packing on buds. Trichs are still clear, but hopefully that’ll start changing soon. She’s not as gigantic as the sativa but she’s packing nice weight under the hood! Just needs to hurry up and get to turning cloudy!
This week was recovery mode for LAK with a res change and a couple of days with some nute free water. She responded nicely and has started to respond with some nice flower growth and plenty of color. Trichs are still pretty clear, so I still have a bit of time before flush. I’m thinking another 2-3 weeks before flush.
Starting to see some great progress on flower sites and they’re really getting packed in. The trichs are getting more cloudy but still a couple weeks out from flush. I’m really feeling the need to finish up, but I know the whole ‘first growers cutting too early’ curse.. so I’m holding on by my shoestrings!!!
Sup growers! LAK is looking nice and cloudy, I think she rushed a bit because of a couple of days with low ph. I had to go to the hospital for the weekend and couldn’t maintain her 😔 bad poppa. Well I did what I could to get the nute/ph/res back to optimal, but I think I’ll be flushing Friday and chopping next week. That’s all for now.
@bobo420, yes indeed! It seems like every time I open the tent there’s new growth going on! Not sure if the rapid rooters had anything to do with it but she definitely grew a lot faster than the rockwool.
@Thegermling509, it wasn’t the ppm, I grabbed the wrong bottle and instead of using Grow I used bloom. The ppm was at 650. I’ve learned to read the label first... and keep the flower nutes AWAY from the veg nutes
@bobo420, I can't wait to see how she'll turn out. I couldn't find any diaries on this strain but so far she's growing pretty awesome! A week behind the liberty haze but almost the same size. I'll update the diary tomorrow to show how much she has grown within the last week.
