At around 2 weeks of age, can I remove the big leaves yet? It blocks alot, (i feel), and 2 of the bottom first ones got yellow spots in them, otherwise good green color and growth.
Should I try to bend the very top more? The stem seems pretty stiff already, first early lst.
Your plant really wants it leaves for photosynthesis right now. They won't block anything enough to really cause a difference at this point.
Your bending looks good, just watch how it grows from there to decide whether or not to increase the bend. You have pretty much maximized light penetration for the time being so I wouldn't go much further.
Going on week 3 day 6; plant picking up steam and has had some healthy growth.
I see some ugly inner foilage and really feel like the inner can use some defoil plus I need to LST more next few days.
Any tips? I figure I could stake bamboo to helpincrease spread @ light and air.
How many bud sites / colas do you have there? You have just below 7 sq ft of space, so you should aim for 28 colas in total. If you have more than that, then remove the weaker ones, that should improve your air circulation.
Why is the leaves of the one "cola" drying like this? Looks really unhealthy, at first i panicked that it must be mold or something like that i have never tried before. But the bud seems fine. Is it under watering as i forgot to water for almost 72 hours? And if so, why only one.
Under watering will definately crisp up any leaves the plant was cannabilizing.
But this late in flowering, most people aren't adding nutrients, so whatcha gonna do. The plant will use nutrients from its own fan leaves to continue feeding its flowers for reproduction. I like to leave more wiggle room and give nutrients longer in case there is still more flowering time needed, but some people do this to their plant anyways to make trimming pesky fan leaves easier. Long as it doesn't start to turn your flowers yellow.
I did ask about the dying leafs n shizzle, but i just got this mail from fastbuds on how to feed without damaging autos.
I think maybe feeding max everything has been to much? Another cola is going bald on itself atm, flushing and will harvest soon i think . ...
Hey friend,
Your plants are looking good so at least you will make it to harvest.
But yes i think the majority of auto plants should be fed at half or quarter strength.
Happy harvesting
Ended out harvesting 350 gram dry, where about 180 is very firm and nice looking budd while much of the rest is ugly and not really firm. All good smoke though. :D Will try get some fotos up one of these days.
She is exploding these last 3 or 4 days. :O Still unsure if to defoil alot or stake in some bamboo and spread the "budpoles" out more. What would you do? Have to do some training this weekend for sure, i bet preflower is close. @CenturionGrower,
Got a Six Shooter from Fastbuds seed coming in hot and coco and smartpot ... Got to little height if i get some huge phenotype of the plants i like. :P My first grow with Sixshooters was one of my lifes highpoints... ;) But those two plants yielded only 78g total. A friend of mine just pulled 302gram from one sixshooter on a freaking mars ts 600 and a selfbuild 50w cob that he got a on a "mover"circling around the small ts. @heizen,
,.... he is now working with me to try make some vertical mechanical automatic "movers" /sry dont know the english term/ ...... Some of those newgen bulbs can penetrate really well, i imagine 2 50w vertica in "a spiral"railsl 3 50w circling around my mars ts center light could yield me about 650g dry, easily. (when picking the right xxl yield strains) ;p
@heizen, starting up a Power Plant by Dutch Passion grow soon. DWC "oxypot" and photoperiod for the first time, same light and nutes. :) Also buying a scrog net for the first time.

Already running out of space and she is not even going into flower yet... Argh haha... Well, soon i cant get her out of the tent, so tommorow i will be training and maybe even use some bamboo or even lst with the sides of tent. xD
1) Never had a more hungry plant, have to water so much. 2) Never had such a fat plant, and this strain was supposed to be smaller then my last grown Gelato. haha....
It is getting very hard to bend leafs to expose bud sites hidden and dwarfing in growth imho on "undergrowth", so i fear i will have to defoil some and maybe a good staking for spread.
Scared to over defoil though, i cant stop meself man. xD
