This grow is whatever it is. I decided to go for the solo cup grow off. I have done well in the past. This time I’m going with an auto from Bomb seeds. This will be my first Bomb seed grow ever. This won’t be a quantity grow unless I can make miracles happen. My goal is at least an ounce of dry nugs. I’m gonna go ahead and predict a win on this one. 1st thru 3rd place
Well half way tempted to repot this one but I’ll keep going. This will be very interesting. I cut a few hole in the bottom of the cup for water run off and it is riddled with roots. Will have to keep these contained according to the rules.
Wow this little girl is sucking the water. I can barley keep my self from repotting. This has to be root bound. She is also growing so close together with no stretch at all. I’m using the extra cup to catch runoff and insulate the other cup it’s super thin.
She drinks all day everyday. I have to water her 3 times a day now. Can’t wait for this competition to be over. I like watering every 4 to 5 days. Day 31 first signs of female starting to stretch a little. The stem is weird on this one. Day 33 the stalk is kinda weird it’s real small at the base then tripes in size above it. Should I be concerned. Day 35 she is root bound for sure she started flowering and no stretch. I’m concerned about the stem it’s real small at the bottom but then gets real fat an inch up. She has so much weight I had to stake it down in numerous places I hope she doesn’t break. Without the stakes she will just fall over and snap.
She is real small and root bound. I feel so bad I’m not repotting this one. She sure looks perfect and I just pretend she is tall. This is an autoflower so I’m not feeding very heavy.
Day 55, she is getting covered in trichomes and her smell is off the chain. I have never smelled something like this before and can’t wait to taste it. According to the stats on this plant it finishes in 70 days from seed so 15 more days until harvest. I’ll be checking trichomes with my microscope for this grow. Since it is a solo cup grow I’m going for super quality instead of quantity. As of now she looks like she will be a solid ounce.
Stinky stinky water water water. These solo cup grows really do need constant watering during flowering I’m water earring 4 times a day and she is dry when she wakes up
She is a flushing. Trichomes are all cloudy with a few amber. I’m gonna keep flushing until she is about 40% amber. She is so stinky and I’m only upset she wasn’t a full grow. The one solo cup grow will just be a teaser.
Growing in a solo cup has its ups and downs. Being a top heavy plant it has fallen over a few times. The watering was also a chore. Towards the end I was watering 4 times a day. This plant would have produce 4 times as much in a 2 gallon pot. All I have to say is the smell is off the chain I can’t almost not even describe it.
Not much to say yet. Just got done cutting and trimming. All I can say she smells delicious and I can’t wait to try it. Will be back later this week to update tastes and weights. She turned out great and for how small she was. I will have to reorder this and grow it in a much larger container. Very hairy and covered in trichomes and the smell is indescribable. It’s delicious and I can’t wait for a good cure. I’ll update with some nug shots.
Any pictures of her in just one solo cup? I initially did mine double stacked like yours and kept having a small root bundle forming between the first and second cups...
@SirPsyche, no I got the second cup to catch water runoff. Since I have to water her 20 times a day I’m not dealing with having a baby root sticking out of the bottom
