Week 4 was the start of flowering. Thick pistils compared to my northern lights auto, with trichomes forming quite early on. Seems like it will have a lot of trichs at the end of the grow
Still growing taller, buds looking bigger. However, fan leaves are yellowing at the bottom, developing rust spots and going crispy. All bud sites looking good however, have added some nutes, since I haven’t used any all grow.
Plant packing on the weight, trichomes starting to form. Some fan leaves have dried up and fallen off, bringing new light to the bud sites!
Little splash of big bud added, to try keep the weight on.
Great strain to grow, very resinous, sticky buds packed with CBD. Short plant which doesn’t take up much room in the tent. I dried the buds with sugar leaves still on for a nice slow dry on my drying nets, and then dry trimmed afterwards. I placed the trimmed buds in jars, which are currently curing. I sampled a little dried bud, however... and can say when you open the grinder up, the smell of fruits, specifically red berries is immense. I have never smelt anything so fruity! The smoke was nice, and there were no effects from THC, meaning I just got the nice mellowing, medicinal CBD in those cloudy trichome heads. From research , I found that harvesting a little earlier, rather than later is actually beneficial for CBD strains. I let a few amber trichomes appear, but mostly cloudy when harvested.
Added 1 more week purely to show the final dried / cured product, as previous pictures did it no justice.
Great smoke, very smooth, awesome flavour. No head high, just a mellow body buzz, nice and relaxing.
What gets me the most with this strain is the smell of a freshly ground bud, red fruits and sour berries comes through STRONG!
