17/8: hey peeps happy monday, the weekend was rather humid at 95% but managed to keep the sprouts environment between 60 and 70%, today shows temps down to 24°c and humidity at 65%. Sprouts looking healthy and most of the work is probably going on underneath the soil for them at the mo.
18/8: little bit of noticeable leaf growth today, temps are between 24-26°c.
19/8: rain rain rain, temps between 23 and 24, humidity is between 65 and 70. If humidity rises and temp drops any lower the heater and dehumidifier is going on every 4hr for an hour to keep it where i want it.
20/8: Yay! no rain today, even so much of the same this week other then i set up my dehumidifier to come on for an hour every 4 hrs to keep my RH between 55-65%
21/8: small but subtle growth, much of the same as yesterday, no watering today so i can let the soil dry out a bit.
@Thema420, When I get long stems I transplant and bury stem to the infantile leaves. I do it while still tender so the stem can root. Don’t know if right but been doing my tomatoes like that for 40 yrs. Autos don’t like transplant though.
@phlstvns, awesome by all means give it go, i did it on mine for about a week and then took them off to let them to get blown about a bit by the fan so they didnt get too damp. also give the inside of the cup a little mist. Good luck on your grow 🌱💚✊
@phlstvns, to bring up the relative humidity and temp during the early stages as seedlings to help them grow better. Though in reality the domes are only clear 18oz cup with a few holes in ( i macguyvered it as its better for my budget).
