Missed the first 3 weeks of Veg on this diary. Trying to get better on keeping up with the diary, the grows, family, chores, work, dogs, cats, birds...I'm a octopus 🐙 This is my attempt to mainlining an Auto variety. You can see from the pics, that I topped at the 4 node, and topped those 2, and left 3 and 2 below, which left me with 8 colas. With training, the colas are the same height. It worked out quite well. By the time the 4th node prospered the 3rd and 2nd node shoots caught up. This was all done before the pistils/flowers showed. Now all 8 colas should all grow even. Looks good so far? This is a outside grow started from seed sprout on July 4th. I know it's technically not a normal mainline/manifold, but it's an Auto, and I'm limited on time to go 'traditional'😏. It's my first real attempt at mainlining, with an Auto twist🤔 Addendum: One thing that amazed me is, that shortly after the topping, how thick the stalk/stem got at the base of the lady. Compare the trunk to where I topped the plant originally. It's tiny compared to the trunk. After my last grow, and the airbuds, I'm looking at all options. LST. Hst. Manifold/Mainlining. Scrog. Better lighting. SOG. More dense buds. I'm learning as I go along...

Week 5, and 2nd week of flower.... Colas(8) developing at the same rate. Don't think much lst training will be needed, probably just some defoliation along the way. Other than the normal nutes, and some gradual sweetener and fattener, things shouldn't change much with this girl. The Sun and weather shall determine....😃 7-8 weeks to go....

The Eight Cylinder Auto Manifold is still purring along. Not much to do with this lady. No leaves to defol. Tightened up the training wire a bit to keep all the Colas/Cylinders at the same height, and evenly separated from each other. It doesn't look like she's gonna get much taller. Hopefully she's a fatty. Only the Sun knows...She's taking a quart a day, or near a liter to you metric fools 😂🤣😂🤣😂 Aug 6th; Just switched nutrients to TPS One(10 ml's is equal to 750 ppm, per gallon), from Advanced Nutrients, will keep you posted if you're interested in a one part 'Juice', with all the minor stuff too. I'll still be using a Silicate, Root Ruckus, and a Fattener/Sweetener for Flower stage, along with Molasses. That's all, I'll post pics and comments between weeks. Dig?

Start of week seven, and 4th of Flower. Looks like this will get no taller. One of the drawbacks of multiple toppings of an Auto variety. Untouched one large cola. Now, I have eight smaller colas, and might end up weighing, more than one large cola. My last outdoor Auto(WW), was untouched, and weighed in at 26 grams dry. We shall see. I think 2 toppings, or one is better in an Auto. I do have a 2 topping Auto(Trans Siberian), that is quite bushy. My last tent was my first with an Auto, so I'm still learning the curve. My plants perform better inside for sure(Aloha?). Could be the AC, and 2 ghetto Co2 sources, and obviously more light time in the tent compared to the Sun's time. Shrugs, first time with LED too.) I've got a lot to learn. I do have more than enough to vape in the volcano till the next harvest, though half of supplies be are Airbud. I'm working on the density thang...like I said, I'm learning. That's why I'm here.

She is a stinky girl. Not much to add. No need for anymore training. She's totally defoliated as you can see by the trifold manifold. The eight colas/cylinders are gaining weight, and did I mention stinky? She's taking a quart a day, or a shy liter to you metric users. Till next time... aloha

August 23rd., 6 week of flower. Nothing to add. August 27th, Started 2 week flush today. Not bad for a very late start. Only a foot tall, it is looking like the defol and auto Manifold directed all the energy to the 8 colas/Cylinders. They're dense, heavy, sticky, and stinking. That spells Moon. 2 weeks and she's mine...

August 30th. New week. Started the 2 week flush 3 days earlier. Nothing to add, but she is stinky, and buds feel dense. The fans leaves are getting sucked dry of nutes. I'm feeling flushed😏
