Missed the first 3 weeks of Veg on this diary. Trying to get better on keeping up with the diary, the grows, family, chores, work, dogs, cats, birds...I'm a octopus 🐙
This is my attempt to mainlining an Auto variety. You can see from the pics, that I topped at the 4 node, and topped those 2, and left 3 and 2 below, which left me with 8 colas. With training, the colas are the same height. It worked out quite well. By the time the 4th node prospered the 3rd and 2nd node shoots caught up. This was all done before the pistils/flowers showed. Now all 8 colas should all grow even. Looks good so far? This is a outside grow started from seed sprout on July 4th. I know it's technically not a normal mainline/manifold, but it's an Auto, and I'm limited on time to go 'traditional'😏.
It's my first real attempt at mainlining, with an Auto twist🤔
Addendum: One thing that amazed me is, that shortly after the topping, how thick the stalk/stem got at the base of the lady. Compare the trunk to where I topped the plant originally. It's tiny compared to the trunk. After my last grow, and the airbuds, I'm looking at all options. LST. Hst. Manifold/Mainlining. Scrog. Better lighting. SOG. More dense buds. I'm learning as I go along...
