Disclaimer: These seeds, the "easy start"-kit, a pack of "easy boost organic nutrition", as well as a pack of the "easy combo booster pack" were sent to me free of charge by RQS for testing, creating a diary and sharing my results.
All the content within this diary are my personal, honest thoughts and experiences and i am posting everything here without any input, prior verification or any sort of influence by RQS.
day 0: Just two days after putting the seeds into the RQS "easy start"-kit and placing them into a germination-box on top of a heatmat under a 15W Sansi LED they showed signs of life! - edit in the evening: not only "signs of life", they are growing FAST already.
I have placed 2 seeds of a different seedbank into the easy start kit into the same environment at the same time, and they don't show anything so far. I am impressed RQS! I am really looking forward to the grow of this 2020 strain!
In a day or two they'll get transplanted into their final 7 liter (2 gallon) grow bags.
day 1: I mixed plagron (the non-fertilized one) with perlite and 25g of the easy boost organic nutrition into a 7 liter grow bag and planted the seedlings. They then got placed under the 240w quantum boards, which have been dimmed down to about 90 watts for this stage. Their journey can begin!
day 2: I raised the amount of light a little bit by un-dimming it.
day 5: they're coming along nicely and are only fed with a small amount of RO water at this point
day 7: all seems to be going well so far..
day 8: start of week 2. Yesterday i switched from RO water only, to add a little bit of calmag.
day 10: while the plant from the other breeder shows some yellowing at the veins and disfiguring, the two RQS Hulkberries look healthy and strong!
day 13: all going well here!
day 15 means the start of a new week, and the two are looking great!
there’s not much more to say, than so far everything has been perfect with them..
I will add the booster tablets this week when watering them. Initially my plan was to do that last watering already, but i forgot.
Currently they get around 300ml every 3 or 4 days, depending on how dry the medium is.
day 16: they each got 500ml RO water with calmag, but this time i also added some RQS easy grow booster
day 18: they’re looking nice and bushy..
day 20: did some lst on them..
day 22 means another new week has started.. they are both looking fine as they should..
day 24: nothing special to report.. they got around 500ml of RO-water with some calmag yesterday
day 29: they’re showing the first flowers and started to stretch a little..
day 31: they’re currently getting around 500ml of RO water with calmag every 2-3 days
day 34: they got RO water with calmag and some of the RQS booster bloom additive
day 36: new week and everything is still
going great!
day 37: they got watered with bloom booster again
day 42: yesterday they got around 2/3rd of a liter of RO with calmag and bloom booster.
I can see the lower leaves are turning yellow, so it looks like they’re lacking N, which makes me believe that the 25g RQS nutrients that were mixed into the medium at the beginning is fading out and i should start adding some very light base-nutrients moving forward.. unfortunately i used all my RQS organic nutrients for my current grows, but for next time i will know to add a bit more (i did use the minumum recommended amount) or safe some up for top dressing.. all in all i have to say that i’m definitely pleased with the ease of use with these nutrients..
day 43: there’s not much to report in addition to what i mentioned yesterday.. the plants look fine, but there’s light yellowing on the lower leaves, so i will add some nutrients moving forward..
day 43 in the evening: i watered them again and added some GHE Flora series (as that’s what i had at home), to overcome the light N-deficiency symptoms
day 50 marks the beginning of another new
week.. everything is still going well in my opinion (despite the yellowing of the lower leaves from before i added more nutrients)
day 55: i removed some of the dead leaves and also defoliated very lightly some of the yellowing ones
day 56: given they were a bit yellower (i had a longer feeding interval the past few days), i watered them again today with a slightly higher dose of nutrients..
day 57: yesterday they got a bit more of the base nutrients, as they show quite a bit of yellowing of the leaves and i don’t want to starve them at this point..
day 59: some watering and very light defoliation today
day 64.. they’re still looking a bit yellow, but that’s still the residue from switching nutrients.. new growth is not affected and looking well
day 68: they’re pretty close to being done.. with this one i want some more of the trichomes to turn amber than usual (which is normally on the low side for me)
day 71: last week i stopped providing nutrients, as they are almost done.. they look amazing and it can only be a matter of days now
day 74: i decided to harvest one of them today.. wet weight after trimming was 102 grams. the second one has fat buds, but the trichomes tell me that she still needs a while
decided to harvest the second one today, after the first one was harvested 4 days ago..
growing was really easy, and the ladies behaved very well the whole time through!
smoke report after they’re dried and cured!
thanks again to RQS for providing the seeds and majority of the used nutrients!

@Newbie_01, thanks, so am i.. it's part of their 2020 lineup, so i selected that for testing :)
I also received some "Shogun" (photoperiodic strain), but those will be in my next batch once my autos are done.. of course a diary will also follow then.
happy growing to you too! your plants look great as well!
@Newbie_01, thanks! I just added a couple of close-ups as they look so tasty and that doesn’t really show in my regular pictures..
I’m definitely looking forward to the harvest of these ladies.. 🙂
