Really filled out after 1st transplant. Was afraid my soil was to hot at first. The sun is hot and really making a difference rather than just keeping them under lights like last winter.

Doing indoor/outdoor grow op. Getting between 4 and 8 hours of good sunlight and all the rest under the lights. Using only a lumenater 2x from lush lighting on this plant. Seems to be doing as well if not better than my other plants under different lights, but same schedule and nutes. Guess time will tell.

Definitely gonna be an explosive crop!😵 separated half of the 6 week olds and put them in the ground. Only 2 pineapple express plants. One inside for this diary, and the other's in the ground. Different light. Different nutes. It will be interesting to see how they compare.

Great recovery from semi extreme Defoliation. Keeping right up with the Hawaiian. Really starting to show it's differences from the other strain.

Week 8. Checking for sex. Not really showing yet. This baby has a different structure than the other strain. She's healthy and looking like a female. Maybe next week I'll know for sure.

Starting first week of bloom stage. Plants are healthy and looking good. Was hoping to see some girls showing their sex by now. Week or two under 12/12 should bring them out. So far, they're looking like girls.☺️

Man, it just don't get any better than this. 13 out of 13 all females. What a relief! So far, 3 out of 4 on the pineapple express. The 4th was put in the ground on week 6, so is behind the inside girls. I'm confident she's a girl too.😂

First time I've ever used a technique this radical. It's my understanding it's a rarely used technique used only under exceptional circumstances for precise results by the pro/veteran growers. I've been following detailed instructions, using Ph perfect base nutrients, and running an indoor/outdoor op for optimal lighting because I'm certainly no pro, and can't afford expensive lights right now. Well, I have a few.😉 However, I've been assured that I would learn a lot from this, and I am. Lets see what happens next week.😎

What does anybody think about spraying plants that are budding, either with just water or a foliar spray? Does it promote bud rot on outside plants? What if it rains? Does it cause more humidity on inside plants? Bud rot/mildew? Pros and cons, anybody in the know, please.

no never spray the buds, during flowering you want them to not get moisture as you will get bud rot, spray only during veg and first week of flower only, never spray the buds once they form

With good airflow and fans indoors and a decent static rh 50% or below I wouldn't be to concerned about my plants getting wet. That's in a controlled environment... outdoors if theres no wind ,hot and humid outside... and u go throwing water into the mix it could be creating ideal conditions for botrytis or PM to germinate and take off. I'd say outside it would vary depending on the conditions, weather ect lots of variables. Happy growing and stay lit fam

Hey your girls are looking great. To your question, I do not sprain as I want the buds to dry naturally and I cut down. And if you sprain before cut down it can take much longer for drying the buds out. And don’t sprain after you cut down because you could get mold and also add time to the drying process. I hope that helps you Happy growing

Very happy with the girls. They recovered from the defoliation technique and are doing well. Buds are looking nice. Working on resolving humidity problem in grow room at night. Everything else seems to be good.☺️

These girls are in same op as the Hawaiian thai. Week 5 of bloom stage, all plants have seed pods. Either light coming in under entrance door hermied them on me or I have a genetically flawed strain, and they pollinated these girls.

So, if look back at photos in Week 2 of bloom stage you can see clearly that they are all females. No signs of hermying or polin sacks. No sign of anything but healthy nice buds. Has anyone ever heard of a crop hermying out so late in the game?

yes, that is how it happens when the plant goes hermy. The most usual reason is light leaks during lights out

Yeah... that is how it happens, some sort of stress caused her to pollinate herself. Be carefull so you don't end up with half seed half bud.

A plant that is very stressed can shoot out a banana in the last week of flower. So, yes, unfortunately it happens.

Which is more likely to have caused the whole crop to pollinate, hermying out from light under door or flawed genetics? I'm sure they were all females. No sign either just noticed formation of seed pods 5 days into week 4 of bloom stage.

fix your light leak or you will always get hermies and they will ruin any harvest you might get. even if you got seed the seed will be hermies. some times it is genetics but fix light leak and see how that works for you

So the pineapple express has been growing in conjunction with the Hawaiian thai just under it's own light. It's also doing very well. Buds are getting so heavy had to put a stick in for support. Smells good. Looks good. Still think I'm dealing with seeds as a result of hermying.

I also did flush for 1 week. Actually you may not, if there were no overfeeding.

I never flush, I just stop feeding and give them plain water the last week so the plant consume whatever is left on the media. I've never experienced harsh taste / smoke

A good flush just to make sure. Maybe a little more density, and a little more weight by letting them go a little longer per advice from some other gd family members, and we'll see what happens.

I started this and one other pineapple express together in the same op with a 100% pure bred strain of Hawaiian thai. I really over extended myself so at six weeks I separated them and put one of 'em in the ground as well as numerous plants of the Hawaiian thai. This plant however was part of an indoor/outdoor op. It was a lot of work, but I learned a lot. My next grow will be much smaller and more controlled.
