LSD Barneys Farm ML+SCROG first grow

TrollShaman So, I gathered my thoughts, tossed a seed to germinate, and started my first report on GrowDiaries. My friends brought the seed as a gift from Amsterdam. On July 19, the seed was filed down, soaked in standing tap water for 4 hours, and once it sank, it went into cotton pads. After 2 days, it sprouted a root. I planted it in an intermediate container - a 0.5L agro-fabric seedling bag - and placed it in a "Baby Box" made from a cardboard box with a fan and a 20W 4000K LED COB. I plan to wait for the third set of leaves, then transplant it for permanent residence in a 20L agro-fabric pot in the box and top it. After that, I'll stretch it evenly across the box using SCROG, and once the plant fills the entire net, I'll switch to flowering. Overall, my plans are ambitious; let's see what happens :)

TrollShaman Due to the heat, the girl from the baby box is moving to the big box for permanent residence today. Coconut substrate has been added under the cotyledons during the move. The light schedule is 18/6. The lamps turn on at 21:00 and run until 15:00. Ventilation is 160 m³/h, operating 24/7. I'll post photos in the box later today. I've been watering the girl with pure water at PPM 340, pH 5.6, and I haven't watered to drainage yet; I plan to do that by the end of the week. TrollShaman Today is the first day of the third week. The girl is slowly growing, posed outside the box against nature :) Her roots are the priority. They started to sprout through the small pot made of agro fabric. I planned to let her grow in the small pot for another week, but it seems it's not meant to be :) In general, tomorrow I plan to transplant the girl into a large pot for permanent residence. The pot is also made of agro fabric, 20L. The coconut has already been soaked from the brick, thoroughly washed, buffered, perlite and vermiculite added, and filled into the pot. I also seeded the pot with mycorrhiza - Great White Premium from Plant Revolution, the same one I used to seed the small pot during planting. A bit about buffering: I soaked the washed coconut for a day in a nutrient solution of 1ml/L component Coco, 1ml/L component Micro + 2ml/L Hydrominerals (I added this myself, I read that there are issues with calcium and magnesium in coconut). All of this with a pH of 5.5. I'll post a photo in the new pot tomorrow after the transplant. Thanks for following my report! :)

TrollShaman UPD 18.08.20 So today is the last day of the 4th week. After all the adventures, the little one has recovered and started to grow. Next week, I have a trimming planned, so check back in the report. In the photo added today, you can really see a significant difference in growth. I hope this grow continues to be smooth and productive! _____________________________________________________________________ UPD 17.08.20 Overall, knock on wood, the girl seems to have perked up and has started to grow. Over the weekend, she practically grew her first five-fingered leaf. It's time to think about trimming. I think I’ll be cutting next week. Other than that, everything's peachy. She looks lively and is growing. _____________________________________________________________________ Hello to everyone checking out my report! Today marks the start of the fourth week in the life of my green girl. For a 3-week-old plant, she’s a bit small, and I think there are a few reasons and situations where I acted incorrectly. I’ll list them out, just in case it helps someone. The main thing is 100% preparation. I should have made sure everything was working as it should in advance. I wanted to start the grow early, and I began germinating the seed before the box was fully ready. The new box I built myself on the balcony still smelled strongly of paint when the seed sprouted, so I didn’t dare put it in the box (the smell was really strong), so the seedling grew on the windowsill for about 5 days in a room with an east-facing window—good lighting only until around 1 PM, the rest of the time it was in the shade. After airing out the box and moving the girl in there after a day of operation, the power supply for my homemade light fixture broke down. The little one had to stay on the windowsill for a couple more days while I replaced it. The transplant also didn’t go smoothly. I decided to cut the half-liter bag made of agro-textile, where the seedling was waiting to move to a bigger pot, for some reason, even though the bags are single-use and the agro-textile is not dense, specifically designed for planting seedlings in the soil. As a result, the coconut ball fell apart in my hands into several pieces, and some roots broke. So, don’t do that :) The next mistake was humidity. The humidity was 12-13% in the first few days; I should have fought it drastically right away, but I just put a container of water in there with a cloth—my makeshift wick humidifier. I waited a couple of days for this to work and for the humidity in the box to rise, but the miracle didn’t happen. On the third day, I just sprayed the walls of the box several times a day, and the humidity rose to almost 30%. I really need to think about buying a stationary humidifier. The next point is the coconut. I bought the coconut in a brick, rinsed it, and buffered it myself. Overall, the coconut turned out to be of low quality, with a lot of coconut dust. When watered, it forms a sort of "crust." There are many nuances, but it’s nice that this is a photoperiod strain, which Barney's Farm positions as low-maintenance and forgiving of beginners' mistakes.

TrollShaman UPD 31/08/20 Good day, ladies and gentlemen! Today is the last day of the fifth week. After defoliation and pruning, the plant is feeling good. It has started to grow again, and today I did LST on it again; photos of the results will be tomorrow. The branch tear has healed a bit, we'll see how the branch behaves. By the end of next week, I think I'll set up a SCROG net. The plant has also developed a smell. The smell is still like weeds, very subtle and barely noticeable, but it's there. So next week, I’ll not only set up the net but also a filter. I think in about 2-3 weeks, the plant will reach the desired size and will be switched to flowering. Stay tuned for the report - everything will be in photos and descriptions! :) _________________________________________________________________________________________________ UPD 29/08/20 Today I did defoliation and pruning. I trimmed leaves and shoots from 2 tiers from the stem for better bush formation. My box is rectangular, and I want to arrange the branches in an elongated horizontal "X". During the defoliation process, I discovered a problem - one of the upper branches tore at the point of attachment to the stem about halfway through its diameter. But that happened not today, but a couple of days ago. (It's clearly visible in the photo). Because of the large number of leaves, I didn't see it right away; today the tear dried up, covered with a brown crust similar to bark, and there is a growth there. I think this is because it created an obstacle for the sap to move to the top of the branch. For now, I left it as is; we'll see. Interestingly, when I set up the ties, the branch was intact. I read articles online that bending should be done "dry," and watering the plant should be done after bending, which is what I did. As I understand it, the stem filled with sap, became brittle, and tore some time after watering. In general, I will need to keep this in mind for the future. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ UPD 26/08/20 Today is the last day of the fifth week. The plant has responded well to the trimming and has started to grow nicely. I'm stretching the shoots and plan to keep 4 main branches - next week I will do defoliation and pruning. I hope after this I won't touch the plant until flowering, just SCROG - and that's it. Two leaves have developed defects - one has small white spots, while the leaf itself looks healthy. The other one is somewhat chewed up, and there are many spots on it. It's unclear if it's pests, disease, or some mechanical damage. I will ask the community. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ UPD 24/08/2020 Finally, I waited for the side shoots to grow enough so I could attach the rubber band and stretch the plant. In general, we'll see how the plant reacts to the bend. I plan to water with nutrients tomorrow. Today the coconut is moist, and considering the PPM is 780, I think I’ll do the next watering with water adjusted to pH and add B-52. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ UPD 21/08/2020 The girl responded well to the trimming. After the trimming, the shoots started to grow actively. I hope she has finally recovered, and there will be minimal problems moving forward. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ UPD 20/08/2020 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Good evening to everyone, ladies and gentlemen who have come to my report. Today marks the start of the 5th week of the plant since the shell was shed. Today the plant underwent topping (main lining) at the level of 2 tiers of leaves, not counting the cotyledons - last 2 photos. In the leaf axils of the 2nd and 3rd tiers, shoots of future branches have already appeared. In general, everything is going according to plan :) I’m giving nutrients according to the chart for "average" veg, Nutrient solution - pH 5.8 ppm 720, drainage pH 6.4 ppm 820. Judging by other reports, the drainage ppm is a bit high; the next watering will be with pure water adjusted to pH. Photos and descriptions will be updated as thoughts and photos come in :)

TrollShaman UPD 09/09/20 This week, not much happened with the girl, just today on the last day of week 6, I did a thorough defoliation. I trimmed all the lower 5-finger leaves that were practically covering all the new shoots. Overall, according to plan, a couple more weeks of veg and then switching to 12/12. The plant is eating well. In 3 days, it drank water so that today I had to water with a nutrient solution, and not a single drop came out in the drainage from the 3L solution. I’ll check, maybe I need to water more often and with a smaller volume. In the photo with the pH and ppm meters, the solution before watering is shown, so there was no drainage at all. That's how things are. This is the last entry for this week, tomorrow the next week of reporting begins, stay tuned for updates! ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ A new week of veg has started. The girl is growing and eating well. I water her once every 3 days with 3L of solution. Nutrient solution: pH adjusted to 5.75, fertilizers + stimulants (B-52) added + once a week Hydrominerals Ca-Mg. Final parameters: ppm 1280 pH 5.8. Watering - 3L. About 0.5L drains out. Drainage parameters - ppm 1004, pH 7.49. I did LST, stretched and directed the branches. Overall, "everything is going according to plan"©. One more thing - a smell has appeared. A light weed smell. I was thinking of putting the filter in at the start of flowering to not waste the activated carbon resource too soon, but it looks like I need to set it up now.

TrollShaman UPD 15.09.20 Today I watered with nutrients, solution parameters - ppm 780, pH 5.81. Drainage parameters - ppm 1311, pH 7.02. Overall, it's fine, but the next watering will be just water with Hydrominerals Cal-Mg + B-52. I posted a few fresh photos. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ UPD 13.09.20 Due to high drainage, today I watered with water + Hydrocleaner. The ppm readings (1454) of the drainage and pH (7.12) are still quite high. We'll see if Hydrocleaner can handle it during the next watering. The girl is growing compactly, and considering it's time to switch her to flowering, I decided not to do SCROG. Overall, she has a week left to finish up the nutrients from veg, treatment with Delta 9, and transition to flowering. I think this will take about a week to a week and a half. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Overall, even though the week started 2 days ago, I only got around to documenting it today. After defoliation, the girl has perked up and is putting out new leaves and branches. Nothing particularly new, everything is going according to plan. As for feeding - the drainage ppm is quite high (1428), and the pH (6.91) of the drainage is normal. I don't plan any executions for the girl just yet, probably for about a week. Let her fully recover from the stress. Photos from today are attached. Overall, I think I'll switch her to flowering in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned.

TrollShaman UPD 28/09/20 In general, I didn't do anything with the girl today, just gonna post some photos and share my thoughts on further growing. Today marks the end of the first week of "flowering" - last Monday the timer was set to 12/12. There are no active signs of flowering on the girl yet. There are a few individual hairs on the tops, but very few for now. The girl has suddenly started to grow. There's, IMHO, an excess of leaf mass, but since we're in pre-flower, I don't want to do defoliation and stress the plant. The girl has taken on a very compact and bushy appearance, like a ball of leaves on top of the pot. They say it will stretch during flowering - I hope so. The next watering will be tomorrow, 29/09/20. I took a close look at the girl and decided that tomorrow I need to water her with nutrients, half the dose - I have the impression that during the active growth phase she lacks nitrogen, judging by the pale green top growth points. Especially for bro @bioaccessory, I took a photo of the light fixture. On the edges, there are 4 pcs. CREE CXA2530 2800K (4x30W), in the middle 2 pcs. CXA2540 3000K (2x40W), between them 4 strips of 6 pcs. 1W Brigelux 660nm 45mil LEDs (4x6 pcs, 24W). So that's about it. :) Thanks for reading my report, wishing everyone well! _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ UPD 26/09/20 Today I watered the coconut with HydroClean, 5 liters of settled water with a pH of 5.6. With the watering, I brought the drainage down from 1912 to 1215 ppm. I watered gradually, in 3 stages - first 2 times with 2 liters, about every half hour (when it stopped draining), then the final 1 liter and after that, I measured the drainage. For now, I've decided to stop here. It seems like there was no overdose on the girl, the next watering will be with plain water with adjusted pH again. For now, I'm just observing active growth and the appearance of the first hairs where the fat colas will be :) Photos attached, the last photo with today's date shows the final drainage from the last liter after watering. UPD 25/09/20 Today, looking at the lunar calendar with OLK, I saw that the recommendation for today is to give nutrients, not just water, and I actually mixed the solution and watered. The question is - why did I do this if I was planning to water with plain water and HydroClean??? As a result, the drainage is at 1860 ppm. Today I couldn't manage the time - I was late for work, and by the time I get home, it will be night for the girl. So tomorrow I’ll have to do a big flush with water, at least 5 liters. I want to bring the drainage ppm down to about 1100-1200. I think nothing irreversible will happen to the plant by tomorrow. Considering that 3 days have passed since the last watering, that ppm in the substrate has been there for a while. I'm also counting on the fact that I have a lot of light in the box, and according to info from specialized forums, a lot of light saves the plant from overdose. So for now, that's the situation, I hope it resolves with minimal losses. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ UPD 22/09/20 I set up some branches under SCROG, watered with nutrients according to the pre-flower chart. The parameters of the nutrient solution are: pH 5.8, ppm 843. Drainage indicators: pH 7.08, ppm 1266. I plan to do the next watering on Friday, in 3 days. I want to flush with about 5 liters of water with Clean, without nutrients. To clean it up, so to speak, before flowering. Yesterday I set her under SCROG and switched the little one to flower. Before that, I treated her with Delta 9 on the leaves, 6 ml/l at the start of "night." On the same day, I set the light schedule to 12/12 on the timer. So keep an eye out for updates on the report! :)

TrollShaman UPD 05/10/20 Yesterday (04/10/20) I watered with 4 liters of nutrient solution according to the pre-flowering chart. The solution parameters were pH 5.87, ppm 1210 (I added HydroMinerals, so the ppm is a bit high). In the drainage, pH is 7.01, ppm 1720. That's a lot, both in terms of salt concentration and pH. I decided to water every other day; after the nutrient watering, I will water with plain water. That's the plan. The girl is also not in a hurry to flower; so far, I can see a few stigmas on the main buds, and that's it, even though it's been 12 days since switching to 12/12. We're waiting. UPD 02/10/20 97 days from seed, 9 days since switching to 12/12 Today I didn't do any procedures with the little one, just took some photos. Tomorrow I'll water with the nutrient solution until drainage, and I'll post the pics. Stay tuned! :) UPD 01/10/20 So, hello! Today is day 96 from seed and the 8th day of "pre-flowering" - turning on the light in 12/12 mode. Overall, the girl isn't showing active signs of flowering yet, just some individual hairs at the growth points (visible in today's photos), but in general, they say "pre-flowering" takes from one to two weeks; I've only had 8 days, so I'm not too worried. The girl is growing not by days but by hours; you can see noticeable growth with the naked eye in just one day. She's eating and drinking well. Today I watered with a nutrient solution at 50% of the recommended dose (solution parameters pH 5.67, ppm 631). I tried to measure the drainage for 3 liters, but not a drop came out. The day after tomorrow, I'll water with 4 liters of nutrient solution at full dose and check the drainage. I uploaded some photos. I was glad to see everyone in the report; come by more often and leave comments! :) Today marks the start of a new week. The girl isn't showing active signs of flowering yet, but she's growing actively and increasing her leaf mass. It would be good to do some defoliation, but according to the recommendations from bro @bioaccessory, I decided not to trim her until growth stops, which I understand will be in about three more weeks. So today, I watered with a nutrient solution at half the dose. Over the past 3 days, the girl has absorbed almost all the moisture from the pot; I watered 4 liters, and only about 300 ml drained out. I think I need to switch to two-day intervals between waterings. Everything is going as it should; today I'll post a few more photos. Traditionally, the first photos show the pH and ppm of the nutrient solution before watering, and the last ones show the pH and ppm of the drainage. I also decided to include in the captions the days from the seed and the days since the start of flowering, in case anyone is interested. So that's it for now; stay tuned for updates :)

TrollShaman UPD 10/13/20 Day 108 from seed, day 20 since switching to 12/12, and the last day of the third (actually the first, if judging by the appearance of flowering signs) week of flowering. Today was just watering with nutrients + CalMg (Hydrominerals) supplement + BigBud. Watering parameters: - nutrient solution ppm 1480, pH 5.39, drainage ppm 1194, pH 7.15. And here are some photos. The girl is growing before my eyes, everything is great. It smells strong, the filter is handling it overall, but on the balcony with the frame closed at night, the smell is quite strong. So, I’m wrapping up the third week of flowering, and the first (actually) week of the girl showing signs of flowering. Today, remembering the high ppm from the day before yesterday, I watered with water adjusted to pH 5.63 + Big Bud Coco 2ml/l. Drainage pH 7.29, ppm 1059. So tomorrow, it will be full nutrient watering. I also plan to give Bud Factor X on the leaves today. Overall, everything is going as it should. UPD 10/10/20 Day 105 from seed, day 17 since switching to 12/12. Last night ("night in the box") I treated with Delta 9 on the leaves, today the watering was with pure water and Hydroclean. 4L with adjusted pH 5.51 and ppm 361 (settled tap water), drainage pH 7.01, ppm 1910. As I understand it, Hydroclean converted insoluble and hard-to-dissolve salt deposits into a soluble form... the drainage is a bit concerning, so tomorrow will be watering with pure water. The girl has seriously increased in size and is drinking much more moisture. I’m watering 4 liters every other day, and about 300ml is draining out. Today I posted a few photos, looking forward to comments, advice, and suggestions! Thanks for your interest in my report. UPD 10/09/20 Day 104 from seed, day 16 since switching to 12/12. Yesterday I watered the girl with nutrients. ppm 980, pH 5.67, drainage ppm 1210, pH 6.88. Tomorrow I plan to water with pure water + Delta 9 on the leaves. The girl is growing, giving off a strong smell, and I’m worried about whether the carbon filter will handle it at peak flowering. Overall, I added some photos, take a look, comment, and suggest! Thanks for the interest shown in my grow. 😎 10/07/20 Day 102 from seed, day 14 since switching to 12/12. Good day to everyone! Today I didn’t do any manipulations with the girl, just took photos. Just yesterday (today it’s already visible to the naked eye), signs of flowering appeared. The girl has grown, and dandelions have appeared on the tops of the buds. So to speak, we’re heading into the home stretch. The stimulants from AN for enhanced bud formation and THC generation are ready (BigBud Coco & Bud Factor X).

TrollShaman UPD 10/19/20 Day 114 from seed, Day 26 from switching to 12/12 Today I watered with a full dose of nutrients + HydroMinerals + BigBud Coco. The girl is growing, the low daily temperature doesn't bother her (21°C during the day and 15°C at night). Slowly, a bit of snow has started to appear on the leaves. I think in the future, they shouldn't be thrown away but rather recycled (canna oil). Overall, everything is okay. Tomorrow is the last day of the 4th week (since switching to 12/12). I won't be doing anything with the girl tomorrow, so this is the last entry for this week. Thanks for the interest shown in my grow! Happy to see you in my diary and comments! 😊 10/15/20 Day 110 from seed, Day 22 from switching to 12/12 Yesterday the fourth week since switching to the 12/12 schedule started, and it's actually the second week of flowering. The girl is growing, buds are forming - everything is peachy. In general, there are two unresolved issues: 1. High drainage pH (pH 7.06) (it doesn't seem to interfere, but it kind of stresses me out. I think if it rises another 4-5 tenths, I'll water with nutrients that have a balanced pH around 5.5-5.8). 2. Night temperature. The box is on the balcony, taking air from outside. The daytime temperature in the box is 22-24°C, but at night it drops to 15°C. I'm wondering how dangerous a night temperature of 15°C and below is. Everything else seems to be normal. I posted some photos, and I'd be happy to receive comments, advice, and suggestions!

TrollShaman UPD 25/10/20 120 days from seed, 32 days since switching to 12/12 Today I watered with a nutrient solution + Cal+Mg (Hydrominerals) + BigBud Coco After the watering with water the day before yesterday, the drainage ppm shot up to 2285. That's a lot, I think. I assume the Cleaner effectively dissolved the leftover nutrients, resulting in such a high ppm. They say it's normal, but nonetheless, the next watering will be with water. The girl isn't showing any signs of overdose, so I won't rush to water her with plain water; according to the schedule, the next watering will just be water. Thanks for following my report! UPD 23/10/20 118 days from seed, 30 days since switching to 12/12 Today I watered with water + HydroCleaner 3ml/l (dissolves poorly soluble salts in pure water within the substrate) + Bud Factor X (2ml/l). The watering solution: pH 5.862, ppm 370. About 600ml of solution drained out, drainage parameters: pH 6.95?, ppm 1791 I did a little defoliation - removed about 10 lower fan leaves that weren't getting enough light. Added a few photos from today. Overall, everything is going smoothly, waiting for harvest time to get closer :) 21/10/20 116 days from seed, 28 days since switching to 12/12 Today is the first day of week 12 - 3 weeks of true color and 5 weeks since switching to 12/12 I watered with nutrients + Delta 9 at the root 6ml/l. Drainage - ppm is normal, pH is a bit high, but overall everything is okay. We're slowly moving towards harvest! Thanks for checking out my report!

TrollShaman 03/11/20 Day 130 from seed, 42 days since switching to 12/12, we're growing slowly, eating, smelling good. There's a "snow" appearing on the buds. Yesterday I watered with plain water at a balanced pH. I also gave Delta 9 at the root, 6ml/l yesterday. I still need to treat the leaves with Delta and give it at the root 2 more times. This week, for the last time in this cycle, I added BigBud Coco to the nutrient solution at 2ml/l. Overall, visually nothing new has happened, there's really not much to write about, just check out the photos :) About 6 weeks until harvest, just in time for New Year’s. TrollShaman UPD 09/10/20 Day 135 from seed, Day 47 from switching to 12/12 Today is the last day of the 7th week of flowering (and the 14th week from seed) The girl is feeling good. Today I fed her with nutrients + B-52 + HydroMinerals (Cal-Mg) + Bud Factor X through the leaves. There’s a trend - the pH of the drainage is lower than the pH of the nutrient solution, they say it’s a good sign - towards harvest :) The drainage has a high ppm of 2060, but the girl looks good, so I won’t do anything, just the next watering will be with plain water. I plan to switch to ripen (which is my Flowering component) in about 10-12 days and use OverDrive from AN with it. Also, next week there will be a watering with Delta 9 at the roots, the last one in this cycle. 04/10/20 Day 130 from seed, Day 42 from switching to 12/12 Today I watered with a nutrient solution + Cal-Mg (HydroMinerals) + B-52. I poured in 3 liters, all went into the pot, and the drainage didn’t overflow. So the next watering will be water the day after tomorrow, then we’ll check the drainage parameters. TrollShaman UPD 11/17/20 Day 143 from seed, Day 55 from switching to 12/12 So I looked at my girl, counted, and decided to start giving her ripen at the end of next week. Today is the last day of the current week, I watered her with nutrients at 66% of the table dose. The drainage pH is normal (6.4), ppm is a bit high - 2048. Next week I plan to do a flush and switch to ripen over the weekend. I plan to start with a regular amount of water with HydroClean 4ml/l, then a day later - just plain water. After that, a mix of Floragrowing Micro + Floragrowing Flowering + AN OverDrive. I’m already planning to harvest in early December. Thanks for stopping by my diary! 11/13/20 Day 139 from seed, Day 51 from switching to 12/12 This week is the last before switching to "ripen," which is the "Flowering" component from Floragrow. Before switching to ripen, I plan to do a thorough flush with "Hydroclean." After that - a final push to harvest :) According to the passport, my girl flowers for 60-65 days, but knowledgeable people say that’s for ideal conditions, and in my reality, it would be good to add at least 5 days to that, and for safety, 10-15. TrollShaman 19,11,2020 Today I watered with Hydroclean. Drainage - ppm 2123, pH 6.28. Tomorrow I'll water with plain water + B-52, then a couple of days for the girl to finish off the goodies in the substrate, and starting Monday - Flowering + OverDrive. The final stretch :) Looking at the photo - the buds have already darkened, but the stigmas are still fresh and popping out a bit. And I can't see any cloudy trichomes yet. I’m not measuring pH and PPM of the solution, but I think the harvest will be either at the end of this week or the beginning of next week. The girl is doing great - everything is good with her, fresh stigmas have popped up on the tops after the ripening. As for the trichomes - it's strange. There are almost no cloudy trichomes, but the amber ones that started appearing last week have increased. Not enough to talk about their percentage, but things are moving along :) Overall, everything is going according to plan. Thanks for following my diary! 26/11/20 152 days from seed, 64 days from switching to 12/12 The girl is in the home stretch. I plan to harvest in about 10 days. Right now I'm feeding her with ripening (Floragrowing Flowering) 4ml/l and giving her Overdrive from Advanced Nutrients 2ml/l. I'm not monitoring ppm anymore, and I'm keeping the pH of the ripening solution from Floragrowing within 6.5-7 as per the instructions. Everything is going its course. Thanks for checking out my pre-report! There aren’t many new photos, the girl hasn’t changed much externally, only fresh stigmas appeared after starting the ripening. The smell is still very strong; at the beginning of the cold, I had to close the windows to the outside on the balcony - as a result, I have to ventilate the apartment at least once a day from the smell, which tends to accumulate... The carbon filter isn’t helping, maybe because of the long cycle it’s already soaked up the smell and isn’t filtering anymore. The smell itself is so sharp and strong, possibly due to the use of stimulators - Bud Factor-X and Cannabiogen Delta nuovo. Overall, I’m looking forward to the harvest! From now on, just water. I plan to flush in a day, I'll water with the Claw, then 2 waterings with plain water, 2-3 days of darkness - and HARV!!!! This week on Friday, I'll water with plain water, then one last time with flowering + overdrive, then a flush with water and Claw - and next Friday, harvest! The day after tomorrow, on Sunday, will be the last watering with Flowering + Overdrive, then a flush with water and Claw - and harvest! TrollShaman 10/12/20 Day 166 from seed, 78 days since switching to 12/12 Last week before harvest. Watered for 3 days. First day with a little bit of nutrients, then just plain water. Everything is going according to plan, I'll be chopping on December 12. Stay tuned for the report! :)

TrollShaman Now a few thoughts on the harvest. 1. I need to redesign my box! The most important conclusion. The direction of effort is clear, I will be working on improvements, redesigning, and eliminating shortcomings for the next grow. 2. You should start the grow when the box is ready, and you have everything you need to begin cultivation. My vegetative stage was prolonged because by the time the seeds sprouted and the plants were developing, the box wasn't ready and the growth took place under difficult conditions - insufficient lighting. 3. Defoliation. I did some defoliation, but just a little, I was afraid of harming the plant. I should have been bolder and done it in larger volumes. I think next time I will do a few, and the most thorough one - a week before switching to flowering. At least, I think my plant would have had less leaf mass and more buds. But maybe I'm wrong. 4. Nutrients. Overall, I realized that the nutrient solution preparation table from the manufacturer should be viewed as a reference for component ratios, but the concentration should vary depending on the plant. It's good that this strain turned out to be resilient and not demanding, but it could have been different... I appreciated the coconut for addressing issues with overfeeding/salinity. The next grow will definitely be on coconut! ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ So far, that's it. This is still not a final description. The harvest will be dried at a temperature of 8-10°C for about 10 days, then the buds will be separated from the stems, placed in glass jars, and stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 3-5°C for a couple of months. After that, the trip report will be updated. As I complete the planned tasks, I will supplement this report. At the moment, the buds are still fresh. UPD 24.12.20 Today, after a leisurely drying for 10 days at a temperature of 10°C, the flowers were separated from the stems and weighed. The final net weight is 174.97g. The smell has changed dramatically, becoming richer, while new notes have appeared. The dominant scent is diesel, and there’s also an interesting pine-mint-floral hint; it's hard to pinpoint individual elements, but to me, it’s like this: pine with a mint-floral aroma. Trip: After drying, I did get the claimed "LSD trip." The state is interesting, requiring more approaches for exploration. It's hard to describe, but mainly it’s a transition from reality to unreality and back. For example, during the trip, recalling what I did 10 minutes before smoking seems unreal, as if it happened to someone else. ------------------------------------------------------------------- In general, the penultimate interim result: I am very satisfied with the harvest - I expected a weight of up to 100g, and it turned out to be 175g. Everything - the smell, appearance, effect - is beyond praise! I will definitely grow this strain again (at least 1 seed is still left).
