They are getting big! Branches nearly as thick as the main stalk. I have only watered these girls 2 times in the past 6 weeks. Lots of rain and sun. Spraying every 4 days with Neem oil and Dr bronner castile soap.
Forgot to mention holes are 2x2' and I amended the soil with Gaia green organic dry amendments. I continue to top dress during growth. Middle girl went from 5ft to 7 in 2 weeks! They are starting to smell skunky in the breeze.
Middle girl has shot up to 7.5' in one week! They just started showing pre flower last sunday. I continue to spray with neem and Dr bronners every 4 days. Brown powder is cinnamon to keep away the rabbits, squirrels and any fungus that may be floating around.
Haven't done much. Spray with Neem every 7 days. Fertilize with 2-8-4 organic dry amendments. Had some magnesium deficiency in the middle girl. Fed with 2 tbls epsom salts. Defoliated before buds start to form for airflow.
Had some slow flower growth due to under fertilizing and overall not building my soil well enough for such monster plants. Learned alot from my second grow so far! After fixing Feeding problems they are fattening really fast! Think i have around 3-4 weeks left at least. Hope they make it.
I think this is a micronutrient deficiency/lockout due to underwatering, underfeeding and PH imbalance. From my research it looks like Iron or sulphur. I fed them with Compost tea and more dry amendments, they seem to have perked up since.
looks like a sulfur deficiency. during flower is when it's needed and when you have monster plants they need even more . Adding sulfur is always a good idea anyway it's really important for terpenes and everyone loves terpenes. Hope this helps 🚀
Glad its over. Wont grow her again. Finishes to late for Ontario. Last girl was harvested early due to snowfall. Taste is pretty good. Potency is lacking for me. She will make some good hash though.
