WEEK THREE Upped watering amount to 500ml per plant. Every 24-36 hours. Lights off vents open fans on.: lowest temp 76F highest humidity 85% . Out side room temp 72F Humidity 56%. Lights on vents open fan on. Temp 80.5F Humidity 62%. Looks like I will be needing a de-humidifier, Noticed Leaves of one have a claw affect, this could be too much wind or too much nitrogen, moved fan from direct blowing on plant, if it continues I will water with no nutrients for a day or two. Placed mini de-humidifier in tent during lights off. out side room temp 72F Humidity 62%. After 6 hours off, inside tent temp 77F Humidity 65%. Having de-humidifier on during lights off reduced humidity by approx 20%. The claw effect seems to have rectified itself after moving fan from direct blowing on plant.

Have been watering with feed every other day, every third feed is just water only, to prevent nutrient build up in soil. Avg Temp 74F avg Humidity 61% 5th 5 finger leaf duo starting to appear, should be topping by end of week.

WEEK Five Still keeping to the same water feed regime. Today they were topped and trimmed. Had them on just water for 2 days and then back to 600ml of feed each per day. Avge temp 74F avge Humidity 60% Started them on full spectrum- grow and bloom switches both on, still on a 18/6 light cycle. I expect to vegging for another week or so. Both plants have heads coming through the net, another day or 2 and should be tucking and weaving. The plant on the left seems to have gone into slow-mo since the topping.

WEEK SIX Been watering 1ltr per plant. Removed the large fan leaves. coco is taking while to dry out and noticed, faint green mould/algae on top of coco. I can only assume i have over watered, so will dry it out a little over the next couple of days. It seems the green mold is a beneficial mold while in the soil but not if gets on plant, so i scraped it all off, it offends me :) Started tucking the main arms coming up. One on left still appears to be slightly weaker than the one on the right. I was wrong about been over watered, it was the total opposite. Due to my reading the measurements wrong i have been feeding them 1/10 of the nutrients i should have ie: 2.2ml instead of 22ml. So fed them 3 litres each with correct amount of nutrients and they have both perked up. Hopefully they will speed up in growth now. They seem to be loving the correct feed, i reckon i have lost approx 1-2 weeks vegging because of this mistake 🙁 I will need to de-foliate them tomorrow, though i may leave the weaker one for another day.

WEEK Seven No water for the last day, going to switch them to 12/12 cycle tonight. Humidity still remains a problem, so will have to invest in a better de-humidifier, every guide says don’t buy the cheap small ones, they don’t do the job, so i now agree 🙂 4 days since light cycle changed, fed a total of 3.5 ltr each during this time using increased nutrients and canna boost as per the canna grow guide looks like they are still transitioning from veg to bloom, this will probably last for at least another week. I need to do some more defoliating, always difficult choosing which to take off.

hello, Yes i personally would do a small defoliation. Maybe just 10-15% off the top, those bigger leaves that are blocking the light. I am also a big believer in cleaning up the bottoms, and taking away any bud sites or leaves that are kept in the shadows and low on the plant. I've always seen positive results from that "lollipopping" technique. Happy flowering.

2 1/2 litres of feed per plant every 48 hours Avge temp 80F avge Humidity 44% removed 600w LED left just the 900w too much light with both. The plants with both lights on went into overdrive, uptaking more water and expelling less, causing a big drop in humidity 35 and less, removing 600w light humidity went back to mid 40's. Useful to know if you have high humidity extra light can help reduce it, or so i'm thinking. Did some more light cropping.

Is too much light stressful for the plant,? for a short period i had a 600w and a 900 w led in a 120x120x200 tent. Humidity dropped by at least10% removed 600w light and humidity went back to a respectable 44%

Yeah too much light causes light burn and since its also costing you humidity you better keep just that one light on. Good luck growmie.

Hello. Just want to talk about genetics. This plant has a lot of crosses in the past. Soma Seeds made Amnesia Haze with a cross of Afghani and Hawaiian and South East Asian (probably Thai) Then Barneys liked the Amnesia and crossed it with Lemon Skunk that is really Skunk #1. Somewhere along the way Skunk #1 found a citrus taste. I remember a Lemon Skunk I got from Greenhouse Seeds that had runny THC crystals. Skunk #1 is a cross of Afghani and Mexican Acapulco Gold. That was crossed with Columbian Gold. This strain was inbreed since 1978, and very stable. Looking at your buds, they resemble the Thai that I grew many years ago. I hope it has a good head high too. Genetics can pop up anywhere. Good Luck. Chuck.

Hey Mate, Buds that foxtail are not exactly detrimental, but they are not exactly beneficial either. The most glaring setback is that it breaks up the structure of the herb. Instead of growing into a rounder shape, it tends to sprout out in a more elongated way, ultimately leaving less of the plant for you to use. In addition, this process is a common indication that your plants are not properly ripening. “Bad” foxtailing involves the occurrence of foxtails due to heat and/or light stress. This often manifests in calyces that form spires and make the bud look quite odd. However, foxtailing is not always an abnormality. Good luck and happy trails for the rest of the way 🤞 Servus OimRausch
