Hydro is very precise, keeping PH between 5.5 and 6.0 is recommended by the growers i follow, they say fluctuate to make sure plants get full range. I am adding General Hydroponics Micro also and now have added in Thrive for roots, the roots are exploding wish I had kept that picture in a better place.
My PH was crazy high this week and it may be causing my Nutrients not to uptake. I PH'd and flushed, I try to flush now every third watering. I wander if that's messing me up slightly.
I had fun this week as I defoliated these plants of a lot of leaves, about 1/3, and learned how to use my microscope to see the trichomes, but getting a clear picture is proving impossible and I honestly am not sure if the plants are ready. My really only judgement is that I dried out a bud that fell off and it was best bud I ever smoked in my life and it took my pain, instantly, and lasted about an hour and a half, that was amazing to me. I will try to post pictures whenever possible.
Amazing quality from seed onward. Every seed sprouted, every seed was female. The grow was very easy for a first time indoor grower who made several mistakes and yet got top shelf buds and a great yield for my first try. I did struggle to control my humidity at the end, and one huge bud weighing 14 grams got mold all through it at the very end while drying, but all the rest of my buds appear...pretty perfect.
Despite my discovery of pest invaders a couple of times, I really did make it through this grow with only hydrogen peroxide and D.E. I used all General Hydroponics Grow and Bloom Series. The plants I started in soil and transplanted to Hydroponics totaled 5 plants. One in soil, one Hydro and we totaled out at 13.1 ounces of bud, and about 2.5 ounces of kick but "shake" (my standards may be a little tough).
I recommend ILGM highly. I have successfully ordered and received 3 different sets of seeds. And all of them have produced what the site promises. Plus, its the best customer service I ever had from an online vendor, and they are in another country.
This strain is great for you if you have someone in pain and if you can make your own Tinctures, FECO, and edibles. I want to now master growing techniques and focus on producing top quality maximum yields that allow me to give away medicine that people, including myself cannot afford. I could not do that, without the help of people out there who take time to help others. So thank you.
Bottom line, best buds i ever smoked. I will be growing this again very soon.
Will grow this again for sure, best pain meds I ever had hands down. And I came off Fentanyl and Dilaudid so keep up the good fight friends! Its saving lives.

I looked back in your diary, did you train the GSCE much? I'm growing 2 in a 2 x 2 x 4ft tent, scrogging. Wondering if the stretch is so great that I should switch to flower now?
@@GreenGrows, thanks for taking time to check out my grow diary, I learned a lot growing this strain. I am believing you are saying your tent is only 4 feet tall? If so...yeah, you are going to be in a pickle if you do not train them. My mature veg/ flowering tents are pretty tall. 70 and 80 something inches. Now I had some room and I did some low stress training and then I used a net to make a line i wanted to keep my plants at, I let the plants grow 10 inches past that, recommended by ILGMJ website, then pinched and bent them over. And i hear its best to do that in big groups or all at once so the plant can heal, same with trimming leaves. You can see i should have done better at that but i am learning.
During flowering you can expect plants to double, maybe triple depending on a few factors like lights, nutrients. But i would do my best to veg your plants and get as short node distance as you can, you can control this somewhat by keeping light as close as plant likes it, i found mine liked a little distance. And like you said, training. One think i also read is if these plants run out of space vertically or horizontally, they slow down their growth on their own. Not sure if that's true, but some fish do, so maybe lol.

I was backdating my photos, and kinda put too many pics on week one, but hopefully I showed enough to be helpful to others, it sure helps me now knowing this second grow I got going should be even better, and I am pretty happy with my first one. Bro. Not hydroponics. I'm searching diaries with real DWC or hydro buckets that uses dual part. But yeah. It's manual feeding and not hydroponics.
