Blue Monkey Shit

Date 27/07/20 Hi, This is my first grow indoors. Seeds came from Buzzo. Blue Monkey Shit - Gorilla Shizzle Auto crossed with pollen from Blue Amnesia XXL Auto. Soil was from Bunnings (land of Oz) - Osmocote Indoor - it lloks very good, light and fluffy and holds water well. Light is Mars Hydro SP 3000. My extraction fan is on back order, so battling with the heat at the momement. I'm going away for 10 days, so hopefully they make it. The pot has a reservoir in the bottom so a good water should last 10 days - fingers crossed.

DAY 15 Hi, I have been away for 10 days so no update for week 2. I left the pots in a big tub with water at the bottom. They got a a bit too much water (as expected), but they survived being home alone 😬 The plant seems to be very short and compact. I think it will look better next week once soil dries out a bit. I spotted one single Fungus Gnat flying around. I think I will try a Eco-Neem drench at next water probably in 5 days.

Hi, Plants did well this week. I have not watered them since keeping them in a tub of water because I had to go away (they were over watered). This one is a bit of a darker green now and looking stonger. I dropped my SP3000 led light to 60cm from 70cm and reduced power to 50% - 150 watts. I felt the power at 100% was too much and the plants were short and bushy and I wanted them to have some more stretch. Plants seemed to like this change. No nutrients or ferts added up to now. I will probably give them some worm wee next week.

Hi, This plant has grown like crazy this week. I have a Fungus Gnat problem. I have done a Neem soil drench. I will probably also spray soil surface with Bifenthrin. It is starting to flower.

Hi, Again this plant has grown like mad this week. The fungus Gnats are all gone. I gave them a feed of Seasol Purple on day 35. Everything is going well, I look forward to harvest time.

Hi, This week did not go well. I fed Seasol Purple last week and it caused bad nute burn. I flushed the soil with fresh water once I noticed the browning tips. I didn't expect this and I am now doubting myself as to whether I did the dilution correctly. She definitely has slowed down because of this. Anyway, it is what it is. I think she will still finish off with a good yield, but won't reach full potential. Lesson learnt - don't need to feed plants when bagged soil already comes with fertilizer in it.

Day 56. Plant is going well. Not growing any taller, just buds fattening. Easy grow, minimal input needed in soil - just tap water every 3rd day. There is a smaller Monkey in one picture. It will probably go outdoors to finish soon as it is getting too hot in the tent with summer temps.
