Have been seeing some leaves curl. think ive been over feeding so i was topping up with water during the week and this week for the transition i have given them just over a half strength dose. hopefully that will sort it out.
Things are looking good this week. Starting to get a lovely aroma and leaves are looking very happy. back to normal strength nutrients this week but i will continue to make sure im not overfeeding. just about to start the second week of flower and the ladies are stretching but no signs of white hairs yet. I will do a bit of pruning this week of the lowest branches that i dont think will produce well and that will hopefully focus some energy up top
So flowers are setting in nicely!!! I have done some more defolation just to open up the lower bud sites to some more light. I feel like i didnt quite take enough but im always scared of removing too many leaves and stressing the plants.
So I found the courage to finish defloiating or "schwazzing" the two plants. Already in the few days since removing 80 percent of her big fan leaves I have seen a big increase in flower development. I've never really defoliated this hard before. Will keep you posted but looking great so far
Update... In only a few days the flowers have fattened and the leaves have filled out alot after the defoliation
Very happy with it so far. Smelling lovely.. Has filled back out since defoliation and I will probably have another good prune during the week with more photos to follow.
Very happy. She is filling out nicely and stinks. With three weeks left to go it's gonna be very nice yield. First few hairs have started to brown this week aswell
Not much to report. Had to be supported in some places as the whole plants were leaning. Just starting ripen this week then flush next week. Not long now
Flush week. Damn she smells good. That kosher kush! Oooowwiii! 6 days to go. Gonna flush with water for 2 days, then florakleen for two days then back to water for two days just to make sure.
It came out nice although I didn't get the pheno I was hoping for. Certainly doesn't taste like the kosher kush I have tried before. But it's still nice. The plant has quite long internodes between buds and the buds all came out quite long and not very fat. However I still got a reasonable yield.
@grzesiekkuzniak, the roots sit on a slanted tray with a spreader matt and water is pumped over them so they are kind of half in water and half in the air. i also have an air stone in each resevoir to keep things aerated.
@junglistbandelero,i dont know what nft is ..................but if you have roots submerged in water......the level is too high.......................or there is not enough air in water................same thing😣
@grzesiekkuzniak, i dont think that can be an issue in an nft system as its recirculating. i know overwatering soil can give a similar look but im fairly sure i was just overfeeding a bit. pls correct me if im wrong
v. nice i wouldn't bother with an air stone in the reservoir tho if anything you'd want a bubblegen from a cooler air source. otherwise your just raising ph and temperature using a compressor and co2 heavy air. too increase oxygen in water you need too lower the temp of the water. your nft pump should have a built in venturi system anyway too mix in the air to water. kosher kush is nice the "miss usa" sounds a treat
@TILLBILL, thanks for the advice. I'll get rid of the air stones. As I'm using an led my reservoir temps remain pretty low compared to my previous set up so I'm probably fine without it. I'm doing cataract kush next in a living soil as I got some free seeds when I got the kosher. But I'll drop the stones when I go back to nft. Also I'll look into 'miss usa'
