MSNL - GDP x6: https://www.marijuana-seeds.nl/grandaddy-purps-feminized 100% germination rate. They were grown in the tent under an Mars Hydro SP 250 light. These will receive training for ScrOG, LST, and a late FIM. The plan is to do a 10 week veg -- crazy I know.

Slow growth on four of the plants. The extended veg will resolve their early complications. New growth shows no sign of burn or deficiency.

Moved the plants around to accommodate future growth. Had some issues over the past week due to PH levels. It turns out GDP in hydroponics prefers very low PH levels. After this discovery I was able to maintain top growth without signs of deficiency. One plant in bucket 1 was struggling, but now shows sign of growth. In addition to the PH problems, which is resolved, there was an algae outbreak that occurred. However, that has now been handled.

With the stabilization of the PH and removal of the algae infestation the plants are finally back on schedule and growing well. However, one plant in bucket 1 died from severe trunk rot. Once each plant is at a particular growth height we will FIM.

Explosive growth compared to last week. The tallest plant is 14" while the other four are 10". The largest plant has received a FIM. The other four will receive their FIM at 12" which is sometime during this week. Also, the ScrOG net will be place down this week. It will be a two tiered ScrOG.

Today the plants were ScOG'd. Still seeing explosive growth. The largest/tallest plant was 29" before the ScrOG net. The plan is to fill a 5'x8.5' ScrOG space. Defoliation will take place when the plants cover more of the ScrOG net.

The ScrOG net is filling up well. Recently repositioned the lights to promote growth away from the base. Lastly, defoliated the very bottom undergrowth that did not see any light. This was a conservative defoliation. When the ScrOG is filled a heavy defoliation will take place a week prior to flipping to 12/12.

All 5 plants still growing well. No signs of any deficiencies or burns. The root systems consume at least half of the 12 gal buckets. However, the largest plant (which is solo at the end) has a root system that is as large as two plants. I would post pictures of the root systems, but it is difficult to maneuver under the ScrOG. The plants were heavily lollipoped/defoliated. Now they will recover. In the next week or two 12/12 will begin. If anyone is curious: the pink cube-like squares are used to prop the plants up slightly to avoid any potential of trunk rot when we fill the system. We were hoping to fill up the entire net, but ran out of lighting.

The plants have fully recover from the last defoliation. Probably tomorrow the lights will be flipped to 12/12. The system was recently flushed in preparation for the flowering phase. Good even growth across the canopy.

Huge growth over the last week. Some colas outstretched much more than others therefore the canopy unfortunately became uneven. The plants are at the initial stages of flower/bloom. Max height from trunk base to top colas is 40"; and from the ScrOG to the top cola is roughly 25". There are no signs of deficiency or burns as all plants are a healthy vibrant green. The branches and trunks are thickening rather quickly. The base of the largest plant is 2" thick! There is one root shot, but you can't really see much. Thought I'd still toss it in the lot of photos incase any viewers/followers were interested.

The plants have stopped vertical growth. From the base of the plants they are 45 inches tall. The grow may top out around 47 inches tall in the very end, but I hope they stay around their current height. The tallest cola is 48 inches from the base and that colas is part of a center plant. From the top of the ScrOG net, there is 33 inches of growth/foliation. Overall, I am happy with the grow. However, I should have been more aggressive with defoliation. Some of the undergrowth that is not exposed to light is dying -- lesson learned -- but no big deal. I hope these plants produce color as they were advertised, otherwise I will be very bummed out. Fingers crossed.

Flushed at the beginning of last week. Most of the coals stopped growing, but some may still be growing. I did not add any grow after the flush to hopefully stunt some vertical growth. Surprisingly the colas directly under each light don't have any sign of light burn, but I expect that to change very soon. The lights can go up another 3 inches so I am prepared to do that if necessary. The tallest cola is 61" from the base of the trunk. From the top of the ScrOG net to the cola tops is 38" of growth.

**Unfortunately, no color for these plants as of right now. However, they were advertised to have color. I really hope this is not false advertising from MSNL.** As for the plants, they are now consuming 7 gallons per day. Vertical height has stopped, but many tall colas had to be pulled away from the light to prevent burn. The buds smell good and are frosty. They smell like grape with a little hint of citrus/lemon.

Whatever I received in this grow required far below typical levels of PH to take in nutrients. Root growth did not explode during initial flowering phase which happens very often. Some colas produced decent sized buds. Overall, just meh as I was expecting much more.
