The size difference every day is crazy. The 'Glue is staying short and compact compared to the Sour D in the same tent. I'm hoping that the LST will really force the lower branches to fill out and increase yield. I definitely started the LST too early, but I think it will be beneficial so the lower branches can start as early as possible. To be honest, it's been about 12 years since I last grew and I've never done autos before (since they were considered unstable then), so this is an experiment.
So far, this gal feels like she's doubling in size every day. This has taken daily training to try to encourage new top growth. I expect to start seeing some *real* progress this week.
8/30 - I had to remove some of the massive fan leaves in the middle that were blocking light to some branches and also removed new growth a the base of the plant that was never going to grow into anything.
8/31 - She's really benefiting from the LST - all of her tops are coming through. I was starting to worry that the indica dominance was going to take over and she would stay short and stubby. I'm looking forward to see what she does next week.
Congratulations on the harvest friend. Beautiful grow.
I'm also on the quest to improve my flavor. My Lemon Haze doesn't taste like lemon at all but is a good smoke haha. Enjoy your hard work. Greetings ๐
@SalocinSpecial, She was a beauty, but didn't have much of a smell while growing or after curing. Smokes pretty well.. Bubble hash wasn't SUPER excellent and I'm waiting to see how this rosin turns out before writing a harvest diary.
Ended up being 5.5 oz.. around 153g or so with another 30g of trim/fluffy buds
Can anyone advise me on best wat to go about the best nutrients and using canna coco soil plus was told to mix with perlite new to this game lol. Would be greatful of any help cheers
@Maduchax, Hey bud - hope your run is going well so far. Is that soil straight coco? If so - you'll have to feed your plants often. Unfortunately, I'm not super well versed on proper organic nutrient feeding and that's why I went with the Ocean Forest/Coco Loco and Fox Farm nutrient line. Using the Ocean Forest Soil mixed with the Coco Loco, I didn't have to feed my plants any nutrients until the 4th/5th week. Then after that, I just followed the Fox Farm feeding chart. I probably did something wrong at some point and that is why there were some leaf discolorations/burning in some of the earlier weeks, but I'm happy with the results.
Whatever way you go - I hope you get great results
