Day 1: Started with a 50/50 mix of FoxFarm's Coco Loco & Ocean Forest soils. I decided to do this because the Ocean Forest was SUPER expensive due to the COVID lockdown, but Coco Loco seemed right. Hopefully between the two soils, there's enough nutes to keep everything fed for a while. After that, I planned on using the FoxFarm liquid nutes and fertilizers. Everything is inside a 43"x24"x60" tent with 2x Parfactworks RA1000W, I planted a single seed in a 5 qt fabric pot about a 1/2" in and pinched the soil closed on top of it. With the 2 lights and 4" inline fan from Vivosun, I'm only pulling about 300w. Lights will be left on for the first week and then switch to a 20/4 schedule. Day 3: I noticed the temperature was rising - almost hit 85 one day. I increased the power on the inline fan, added a small fan inside the tent, and opened up a vent to get the air circulating a bit better. To help with germination, I lightly covered the pot in plastic wrap - hopefully that helps move things along. I stuck a dehumidifier in the tent, but it's not on yet. I also stuck a personal hygrometer in the pot and it's currently reading: 55% @ 88.8F (lower hum @ higher temp than I want) Besides that, I'm only adding non pH'd water right on top of where the seed was planed when the soil looks dry. Now I'm playing the waiting game... Day 5: We have a healthy looking sprout! Day 7: After a week from planting in the soil - everything looks like it is off to a good start

At the start of Week 2, I realized my light's timer was set to "Always On" instead of using the timer - now we're set to a 20/4 schedule. I think I accidentally overwatered this girl a bit, so I have been more cautious lately. There were some upwards curling in the leaves, so I backed off a bit and adjusted the fans in case it was also affected by the wind. I expect these to start looking fresh soon and recover nicely! So far, nothing has changed in my schedule except that one of my 3 plants (the Critical Kush Auto) didn't germinate. I'm probably going to reuse the the soil in that pot to fill the pot up as a top dress on the 4th week. I'm still using pH'd water only with no additional nutrients. I added a small oscillating fan to circulate air a bit better.

Wow - she is getting HUGE! Not sure if I will wait until week 4 to start LST - she's almost ready now! As expected - the over watering signs are gone and the plant is looking healthy now. I'm starting to water more thoroughly about 1-3 times per week, but besides that, I lightly water the plants as they appear to drink from the soil. I've been checking under the surface of the soil and picking up the pots to judge the weight to see if they need water. Started LST at the end of 8/20 - Day 16. A little early, but I wanted to make sure there was plenty of time to train her. 8/24 - Did a light feeding with a 1/2 tsp of Fox Farm Grow Big to a gallon of water and made sure the pH was around 6.5. I also moved around some branches and fan leaves hoping to get some new tops soon! 8/25 - It's crazy to watch them grow every day, but they really started shooting up from here.

The size difference every day is crazy. The 'Glue is staying short and compact compared to the Sour D in the same tent. I'm hoping that the LST will really force the lower branches to fill out and increase yield. I definitely started the LST too early, but I think it will be beneficial so the lower branches can start as early as possible. To be honest, it's been about 12 years since I last grew and I've never done autos before (since they were considered unstable then), so this is an experiment. So far, this gal feels like she's doubling in size every day. This has taken daily training to try to encourage new top growth. I expect to start seeing some *real* progress this week. 8/30 - I had to remove some of the massive fan leaves in the middle that were blocking light to some branches and also removed new growth a the base of the plant that was never going to grow into anything. 8/31 - She's really benefiting from the LST - all of her tops are coming through. I was starting to worry that the indica dominance was going to take over and she would stay short and stubby. I'm looking forward to see what she does next week.

She started flowering a little more than half way through the previous week, but I decided to wait until this week to mark her as "flowering." She's filling out very nicely and the bud sites are starting to develop. There's definitely some smell coming off of her now, but it's easily controlled by my 4" carbon filter. I am using the lowest recommended feeding with the Big Bloom (1 TBSP/gal) and Tiger Bloom (1/2 tsp/gal) fertilizers from Fox Farm and feeding ever other watering. If I notice any nute burn, I'll water twice before feeding again. 9/4 - I actually decided to try to give her a bit of a stronger feeding next time - 3 TBSP of Big Bloom, 3 tsp of Tiger Bloom, and 2 tsp of Grow Big. Might be too much, but wanted to see if i could get a bit extra out of her before it's too late

Defoliating here and there, but trying not to stress her out too much. She's staying short unlike the Sour Diesel in the same tent. I thought i was going to get some more stretching out of her, but seems like she doesn't wanna grow up. I'm going to let her bulk up so she's short and hard like a body building elf ... hopefully she develops big fat buds! I use about a gallon each feeding and with the Coco Loco mixed in the Ocean Forest - it seems to last a while.

Started a heavier feeding with the liquid FoxFarms nutes. I really hope she bulks up and the lights are enough to get good buds. So far, they seem to have been doing a *great* job (parfactworks RA1000w), but they weren't expensive which makes me worry. I've stopped the LST and defoliation, but I am removing the dead leaves under the canopy.

She's looking great and starting to thicken up as expected. I hope she keeps going, but I'm not sure she will. Looks like a lot of hairs have started to turn red and she started frosting up. I took a few pics at day 53 (from planting) showing the early frost. I added some Kelp Me Kelp You to the mix, but noticed that she looks like she's having a bit of a cal/mag deficiency. I added my first cal/mag feeding to a plain water feeding and we'll see how she reacts. I'll probably give her plain water again with cal/mag instead of an actual feeding for her next watering. For the next couple weeks, I'm going to add Beastie Bloomz to the mix and *may* add some Flower Fuel since I've seen some other grows get great results with it.

Gave her another plain water and CalMag feeding before giving her a proper feeding with nutrients. I'm seeing some deficiency issues still, so I probably should have given her another before giving more nutrients. Feel free to comment with any suggestions, but I'm probably going to just give her plain water for a bit. I raised the lights a little bit just in case that was contributing to any crisping on the leaves. Buds are definitely frosting up more and more every day and looking great.

Gonna give her a flush and then do one more week feeding with Cha-Ching and some organic molasses. After that, I think it's just plain, pH'd water until she finishes. She's looking great. I could prob pull her in a week or two based off of looking at the trichs through a microscope, but I think being patient will be a virtue here. Gonna try to let her go for another 3 more weeks She got her last feeding of nutrients on 10/9. It's plain water from here on out until she's done. Buds are looking GREAT, even the lower and smaller ones.

Just feeding her plain, ph'd water now and letting her finish up. I'm leaving on vacation for a week, so I set up an automatic watering system that pumps from a reservoir outside of the tent. It's set to start pumping in 4 days. Then it should pump for 4 mins every 3 hours. Hoping this works and these beauties will be looking great when i get back!

Left her for a week while I was on vacation with an automatic dripping watering system I bought on Amazon. I gave her a heavy plain-water feeding on Friday leaving the bottom tray full also. I set the dripper to delay for 4 days, and then run for 4 mins every 3 hours. When I got back, the soil was still wet and the girls were still alive. When I first got home, the colas were so heavy that they were all drooping. I grabbed some twine and tied the plant together for a bit to help give them support. I'm hoping to harvest on Halloween, but if they're not ready, I'm sure she can go another week or two with the plain water flush. Now I'm watching her and the other plant in the same tent to see when they're ready. Ideally, I'll harvest them both at the same time, but we'll see what happens. To my surprise, it looks like she doubled in thickness, but it could just be because I haven't seen her in a week. Unfortunately, my phone decided it wanted to go for a swim in the ocean, so I had to use an older phone to take the photos and they didn't come out great... sorry about that!

Still feeding her plain water, but I'm done now and letting her finish. Next update should be a harvest with dry weight. I started lowering the amount of light time towards the end to hopefully force them to finish. Starting from 20h on, I reduced light to 12h Monday night, 10h Tuesday night, 8h Weds Night, and 0h Thurs & Fri nights. I plan to harvest under the full moon this Halloween. She got super THICC and really dense. She's starting to put off some stank now that she's finishing.. really frosty, really dense.. and looking forward to the cure! Feel free to try to guess the final dry weight!!

Overall, this was super easy to grow and even though I had some sort of deficiency going on that I was never able to correct, everything turned out *looking* great. Only problem has been that even after 2 months of curing, there is little flavor/smell to the jarred buds. It smells like absolute fire when burned in a bowl or rolled up though, but I wish it tasted like how it smells. Pressed some flower rosin for the first time with this strain, but I'm still learning and have nothing worth showing off quite yet. I wish I had enough left over to do a run of bubble hash and rosin press that, but maybe that's for next time. For a smoke report - the denser colas have the best flavor, even though it's very mild and faint. Most nugs squish perfectly into a bowl and don't even require breaking up, but the colas are a bit more dense and do need to be broken up. The smell of the burning nugs is absolute fire - it smells skunky and sweet; what I've referred to as the "festival smell" or "the hippie armpit" smell. The buds are super sugary and they DEFINITELY get the job done. It smokes really well and burns nicely, I just wish it had a bit more flavor and bag smell.
