Canadian_Gardener Very strange growth from this plant. Ive seen strange growth before but nothing like this. Im going to ride this one out and see what becomes. *Forgot to mention. This is an organic grow in mokoko using gaia green dry amendments. Water PH will be 6.2 start to finish. Using basalt rock dust this round as well for the silica. Had 2 plants topple over last go. Tops were too heavy.

Canadian_Gardener Strange week again. On day 9 it self topped itself. Started new growth from first node. New growth looks a little more normal. First sets of leaves were deformed and holey. No pests present in the tent. So damaged genetics??

Canadian_Gardener Day 88 - Added 4 tbsp of Gaia Green Power Bloom. Just looked at my last run and they went 125 days to harvest. Lets see if we get these girls even thicker!!
Canadian_Gardener Final week. Probably throw her in dark for 2 days on day 122 or 123. Then harvest day 124 or 125.
Day 122 lights out. Trim on day 124. Then hanging to dry.
Canadian_Gardener So I took her down last night on day 124. During her wet trim she was smelling very strongly of potent blueberries. I will hang her to dry for probably a week or a little more. I will update when shes dried weighed and in jars for 3 weeks of curing.
Starting trimming the buds day 132. They were a little dry. Had to place back in my tent with humidifier going to try and bring up the moisture level before placing into jars for 3 weeks of curing.
Got the moisture levels right on where i needed them to be before jarring.
Final weight 197.92 grams/ 6.981 Ounces. Very impressed with final results. She is smelling like chocolate and coffee. Well see how she is after a 3 week cure. I will update the rest when shes ready.
@Godsgrower316,ya she is/was very dense without using the dowels she would have toppled over. I'll update dry weight when shes done drying and i give the buds their final trimming before going into jars for curing.
Looking good
man, if you want a organic pH down get yourself a squeeze bottle of lemon juice , it works great and won't harm the beneficials in the soil.
Peace
@Inganjawetrust, Thanks for the idea friend. Id like to try an experiment. I know that my cities water is high in ph being 7.5 to 8.2 the last year ive been monitoring it. I know when i water atva 6.2 to a 6.3 when i check my cocos ph in two days its risen to 6.6 to a 6.7 and my style of grow is to high. I want to take my water after if dechloramined it usin sodium ascorbate and take 2 cups one ill ph down it using my general hydroponics to a 6.22ph and one with lemon juice to a 6.22 then monitor it for 3 days and see how much they fluctuate. Im curious to see if the lemon juice will keep it lower for longer. Thanks for the heads up ill keep you posted and happy growing friend.
@Canadian_Gardener,you do know the plant is what is changing the ph if your always putting in the same water. The plant changes the ph to be able to absorb certain nutrients. With thats said is all we do is try to keep the ph in a range that keeps it easier for the plant to get to the level of ph it needs with out working harder
Hi have you ever grown with this optic 4 ? How much weight did u harvest from it ? I use the same light. The most i pulled was 250grams of 2 plants. Im not sure how high can hang the light above the cannopy. Greets ✌️
@Lazuli, Hey how are you. I have used this light in a 48x48x80" mars hydro 1680D tent for 4 grows. Number 5 is now. In the grows with this light i cant remember the numbers id have to look for exact dry weights but always pulled well over a LB dried from 4 plants each run. As for the hanging heights they say. Seedling 36". Vegetative 36". Flower 24". I try and keep it in this range. When this light is on full spectrum it does get pretty hot in there so i do have good ventialation to keep the heat down. I hope that helps.
