Popped 2 seeds 7/28 using RQS Easy Start capsule starters. They sprouted and went into the coco/perlite pots on 7/31. Amazingly fast germination and each already had 4 cm long white roots after 72 hrs! Using Easy Boost dry amendment nute mixed and watered into the coca pre-planting.
These Green Gelato's are a dream to grow. No issues, both are happy as could be! The RQS Easy Start/Easy Boost Organic Nute System is super easy, super efficient and the plants LOVE it! My 2 girls are both budding like crazy. P1 was topped, P2 LST'd only.
Wow! What an incredibly easy, beautiful and fragrant strain to grow!! My grow room is like being immersed in a bowl of orange sherbert. Both girls are kicking ass, but showing completely different phenotypes. The Sativa dominant straits on one are phenomenal!! 2 thumbs up on the RQS Easy Start/Easy Boost Organic nute system. These girls love it and so do I! Easy, no mess, no measuring, no bullshit, results delivered!
These girls are just beautiful! Fristy, dense, delicious smelling colas dominate the canopy on one, while tall, fat spiral buds stack 40 cm ++ on her sister's colas. Amazing plants to grow!
Update 11/8...2nd plant is harvested and jarred. The terps on this strain are amazing!
I harvested only 1 plant....her sister (the tall purple girl) is still under the lights. Based on dry weight on 4 upper colas harvested 5 days earlier I'm expecting a whopping 160 grams from just the one plant. The colas are super frosty and dense, holding their weight during drying. I've got 40 grams already curing, the rest is still hanging in the dry box. This strain was an absolute pleasure to grow and even an uncured bud smokes smooth and sweet with a nice, even slow burn and white to light grey ash. It's gonna be my go-to from my winter stash line-up!!
Thank you Royal Queen Seeds for the opportunity to select and grow one of your strains and for Organic nute setup. It's obvious I snagged an excellent strain grown with topnotch nutrition. I've got 3 more Green Gelato beans and can't wait to pop em next grow.
