RQS Royal Moby
Germinated in paper towel on Feb 18th.
Popped and planted into coco coir and perlite Feb 20th.
Broke ground Feb 22nd.
Using Migro 100 LED for lights,
MegaCrop dry nutes from Green Leaf Nutrients, measurements are grams, not mls
Her Royal Highness: Royal Moby - day 14 from seed. Some purple in the stem and veins, very cold temps at the moment but I installed a heat mat which is helping. Humidity could be better, despite a humidifier but its a piece of crap - you get what you pay for! 😄
Second set of leaves starting to come through, she'll be ready for potting in her final home soon. Overall, I'm happy with her.
Royal Moby March 11th - Day 21 from seed. Moved to her final 12L root pouch and increased the Migro LED to 100% Coco presoaked in MegaCrop solution. Removed heat pad. Slow growing but she's gaining momentum. Happy out.
March 13th - decreased space between light and plant to 16 inches. Will bring it down to 12 inches over the week, as per Migro recommendation.
No pics this week as I messed up and underfed, so there's not been much growth. First signs of nitrogen def too as the leaves are paler. I'll feed little and often this week, see if she bounces back.
And we're 5 weeks in.... not as big as I would like her to be but that was my mess up and I underfed. I was thinking she didn't need a feed for the first few weeks, but that's soil and not coco. Whadayado.... it's how we learn.
Anyhoo... since she's been getting her nutes, she's starting to spread her wings. 5th set of leaves coming through. I was planning to flip on week 6 but I think I'll keep her in veg an extra week to make up for lost time. I'm hoping to mainline this lady.
She looks a bit droopy, but this was taken shortly before lights out. Looks like a little heat stress too, the way she's cupping, but without extraction in the wardrobe, temps can sometimes climb near 30oC. This will be remedied in due course.
6 weeks of veg, 7th set of leaves starting to come through. She's a bit slow growing due to the cold I think, ambient temps with lights out and heating on is barely 15oC.
Purple stems. Gonna give her another week of veg before flipping. I had hoped to manifold this lady, but I need her smoke ready for mid-June and any topping now will take too long to recover. She's still pale looking so I'll up the nutes slightly next feeding.
