Started to feed Nutrients this week. I left out wholly mackerel for fear of but burn early in the game. Next grow I won’t wprry so much. Things moving along with no issues so far.
Sure was surprised by the amount of growth considering previous grows I didn’t even get over 12”. Everything going well, I did notice the tips going brown but shrugged it off.
Girls starting to show flowers. I failed to mention that I laced the soil with Mykos and Azos in the beginning. This was a very easy grow to this point. No LST, no extra anything just a solid grow.
Trucking right along, no issues yet. Buds are getting fatter, cat is lazy. I want to mention the current difference in pots vs plant structure. The air pot is producing a shorter denser plant and the regular pot is creating a more taller and fluffy plant.
But burn took a toll, lost a lot of foliage. Buds seem ok. Still just getting fatter and fatter. Looking nice and pretty :) no real smells either. Straight water from here on out.
Waiting game begins. Posted a video as well so you can see a bit more of the plant. Patience is the game we are playing now. Hopefully they can finish soon. Although the trics are 50-50 milky and clear.
Still not ready yet. Under my scope I do finding a couple Amber trics, so maybe another week and we can chop her down. I did read white widow tends to not turn Amber at all. Anyone else had this issue?
After looking back at my journal here. I am positive we harvested too early. I've shared the 6 month cured buds with friends all have the same feedback. Mello and good. I agree with the feedback. It does still have a young taste to it. Very Earthy and piney in taste. Kinda sweet in smell. Proper flushing made the smoke very smooth. I believe we may have dried it a lil too quickly because it burns pretty fast.
Was a very straight forward grow. I’m almost positive I don’t have strong enough lighting to produce large yeilds. Easy peasy all together. I have the finished bud curing in jars with a boveda pack. Will update journal after minimal curing time. Update: Cured for a full 6 months.0
@Jodas, you can't get a light burn from 50cm from a 150W LED light.
you can lower it way down, and you can measure the temp on the canopy to see where it's best. 20cm should be more than enough. LED that are on 50cm from the plant emit way different light than they do on 20cm. Take a PAR metar and measure it, it's the best way
@Reaper, So its what I thought. I chopped last Thursday, I let the plants go without water a little too long and one of them showed signs of pain and agony. So I cut them both. The tall one just got placed in the jar today. The short one came out a lot more dense and is still drying and looking much better than the tall one. I did see a few ambers but not 50% for sure. I will update the Journal For Harvest after I put the rest in a Jar. So far dry weight of the tall one was 9.9 g :(
