Ive got a few dots showing up on one of my plants. Could this be because of the cold??

Its definately PH and Overwatering, dont worry about it, they are going to bouce back, just use a lot less than 1L when they are this small and i also would recommend starting them on smaller pots (you want to water more frequently with less, with that setup you have you could water once every 2 weeks). Hope it helps (:

The yellow spots that were seen last week have multiplied and started to appear on newer leaves. I should mention my tap water E.C is 0.8 so quite high. I still however added calmag this at it seems to look like a calcium deficiency. Are they to young for one though? Thank you

Hi there fellow Grower, this is calcium deficiency plane and simple. This deficiency can be caused by excess or miss of something. I had that with my NL if you have the curiosity is possible to see one with severe simptomes in my diaryes. Follow a few ideas: 0-always flush the coco before use, specially the brick ones and cheap unbranded. That removes the salts that might be there... You can still flush in any case just be carefull not to overwater the plants. 1- use some bennies if you have acess, Rechare is an example i know it works very well and covers many areas os issues like PH and nute Locks, the issue you have for instance, that will regulate vell your root zone so it can absorb well and is always estimulated. You can pair that with the cannazym, if you wish no woryes. 3-Keep the base nute and cut the boosters like Rhizotonic till the spotting stops, usually you aim for half of the schedule suggests and up slowly feeling the plant. I cant comment specifically on the Canna line. Also Make sure you are not aplying cal mag on every water if you use tap water, generaly one a week is enought to correct deficiencies. 4-use good watering habits, at the point you are you can water the base of the plant and a bit around, no need to soak the hole medium, it will take a lot to dry when its soaked and the plant ant brearh well or starts to sufocate. When is time to water you can feel the vase weight and the top os the soil sticking to the seccond knukle to see if is moist! 5-Check the runoff and see the EC that is coming out and PH, like that you will have an idea of what is in it. Good luck, happy growing!

Hi, don't panic. We can chat here about your issues. Let me ask a few questions. Have you watered the whole of the coco medium with lots of run off? Before you ever put the seed in you're best to water the soil/coco well. This prevents air pockets or clumps of medium that can cause roots to dry. You can develop little spots like this. On the other hand there is leaf septoria which cannabis is susceptible to, don't panic too much✌️🏻️ Whatever it is, It doesn't look to be effecting much of the leaf. Have you ph'd your water before or after addin the nutrients (I know this may sound stupid but it happens)? You've put your ppm as 650000 that can't be right, cannabis can only handle 1400... How cold is it lights on lights off? Do you have the pot touching concrete floor, put some cardboard under your tent if where you live is cold and your not growing in you house.. Let me know✌️🏻️

@Jaindoh,ahaaa. This is new knowledge to me. Thank you very much Jon do. I watered today at 5.8 and shall try to keep it there. Regards Charliezard

@ThePotFactory, even if you're within the 5.6-6.2 range too big of differences seem to give yellow ph "fluctuation" spots, I try to aim for flat 5.8 +- 0.1 which seems to alleviate when i get it

@PharmaZ, Hello and thankyou. My EC is about 1.3 after all th nutes. Ptoblem is that my tap water is a massive 0.8 to begin with. And no i didnt draim the coco before i started. I shall do this next time though. Also i should mention the parts of the stems exposed to light are turning purple whilst th bottom ia still green. Ive read this could be a magnesium deffieciency. Usually ph is around 5.5 to 6.2 Thank you :)

Nice jungle sir! Trust me they still have weeks to grow in volume and density. You should be very happy. Might want to make sure the middle is getting good airflow, depending on your fans etc you might want to defoliate or not. As long as the temperature and humidity stay down in the right range, they should really yield.

@Jaindoh, I have now opted to go for Headmasta by Canadian Xpress. Heard alot of good things about it and at only £17 a litre so yeah. Also its feeding ratio is only 1ml/l so this could save me quite a bit. I will start adding this today and see how as it goes as ive now ran out of cannaboost! Peace

@ThePotFactory, Ironically, this is my question precisely. A lot of things I've seen about whether Canna Boost and PK13/14 were worth it -- taken with a grain of salt -- had to do with how strong your lights are. Since I can't afford it, yet, and my strongest tent is 2x200w, it remains a mystery to me.

@Jaindoh,thank you Jon Do for your advice through out my diary. Ive used your adive about keeping my ph stable and since then ive added a heater. And seem to have had no problems. I was wondering if you use any bloom booster? Ive just finished my Canna Boost and im probably going to replace it with some other type of less expensive one. Regards Charlie

@XRaynexGillardX, Hello. At the time i had 1 x 600W Viperspectra LED light. (Reflector series. Actuall power 269W) It has a veg and bloom switch on the light. Ive now bought a second one. Follow my latest grow two see what 2 of lights can do. Peace
