Northern Grower

Northcoastgrower So I began 3 weeks ago with a Aerogarden that I borrowed from a friend

Northcoastgrower I couldnt believe how fast it was growing everyday. Every other attempt in soil was met with disappointments. I harvested a couple but was not worth it

Northcoastgrower I topped it even though I was tying it down on one end to expose more bud sights.

Northcoastgrower I am very worried that this could be a male plant. I have invested so much time haha. I've pruned it, but i did not give it time to recover before changing light schedule. Will this cause it to take longer than usual to show preflowers?

Northcoastgrower Its been 2 weeks since I switched to 12/12. I'm still not 100% sure if its a female. I did some pruning/defoliation just before switching lights, so this may explain why its taking awhile for me to sex it. I also dont have a good microscope. I was worried about light leaks too so I did a better job of keeping dark. This grow has been so much fun compared to past failures in muddy soil.

Northcoastgrower Im really having problems keeping the canopy even with a Northern Lights sharing the space.

Northcoastgrower I may have went a little overboard defoliating. But I think it will receive a lot more air circulation and light. Getting excited to see buds soon! I didnt realize how much space the roots are taking up. The nutes I added ended up giving it a bit of a burn, even I gave it the same amount. Learning all the time

Northcoastgrower Well its week 4 and my Mars Hydro light is malfunctioning. The plant is growing like crazy yet.

Northcoastgrower Its week 5 of lights out. Im thinking its done strecthing. Ive never seen a plant this large before. The Stems are solid at many spots from supercropping. I have a tent on the way but will need to setup some sort of ventilation system. I did my final resevoir change for the Northern Lights.

Northcoastgrower Everything is going great yet. I just got my tent in. Merry Christmas all. Just need a fan and a couple other things and my growrooms set!

Northcoastgrower Week 7 of 12-12. Im cutting down my northern lights and will be able to keep a better eye on this one down the last stretch.

Northcoastgrower week 8. I am wondering how much longer I should wait. Trying to be patient, how much days of flushing should be proficient?

Northcoastgrower This was by far the best results ive ever had growing this plant. I come to find out after a couple of failed grows my soil may have been the biggest problem. Growing in a hydro low budget homemade DWC really got me more into growing again. I can now take this experience add to my grow setup in the future, for now take a couple of weeks off and start a bigger more in depth journal here. Using this website really helped me to keep track of the grow in ways I couldnt otherwise, or I wouldnt have even bothered. Thanks to all for the comments and happy growing GD team. CHEERS
