Germes seeds in a glass of dechlorinated water.. popped in 24 hours... planted in soil 12 Aug 20. Watered in with Soluble Kelp extract to kick start growth.
Day 1
13 Aug 20: seeds breaking surface of soil, hardly visible currently. Lightly water 40-50 ml every other day.
Day 2
14 Aug 20: good overnight growth, watered with un ph’ed tap water (dechlorinated)
Day 4
16 Aug 20: watered a bit too heavily with added in soluble seaweed extract. Light adjusted to about 10" above canopy at 20w (20%). Ph 6.4.
Day 7
19 Aug 20: Plants drying out, soil is still damp. Additional fan added to blowing air into the tent. Second set of leaves growing in. Node spacing is tight right now. Light is at about 30w and 12" away.
Day 11
23 Aug 20
Adjusted light to 40w at 24”
Day 12
24 Aug 20: Watered approx 150 ml @ 6.7. Showing some signs of nutrient burn and lime green growth, quite stunted from over watering.
Day 14
26 Aug 20: plants are showing signs of stunting. Will remain in veg until recovered. Root growth not yet ready for transplanting to larger pot just yet.
Day 16
28 Aug 20: watered with dechlorinated tap water ph to 6.
Day 19
31 Aug 20: topped both plants, #1 was slightly FiMed and #2 was cleanly topped. Water 200 ml of ph 6.4 dechlorinated tap water.
Day 22
3 Sep 20: transplanted into 5 Gal container. Organic dry amendments from Gaia green 4-4-4 (66%) and 2-8-4 at (33%) at 3 Tbsp/Gal of medium. Growing medium is about 25-40% worm castings. I recycled coco with worm castings before so not real sure. Lightly watered at ph 6.6.
Day 24
5 Sep 20: checked on plants, showing some issues on newer growth likely meaning there immobile nutrient defiency. Will monitor and check into solutions.
Day 27
8 Sep 20: issues spreading to other leaves and some newer growth. Beginning to look like a combination of nutrient burn and nitrogen toxicity (additional from Insect Frass). Watered 500 ml Each ph 6.7 of seaweed extract To help regulate some of the issues. May also be caused from packing down the medium in the solo starter cups.
Day 30
11 Sept 20: looks like both plants Are suffering from Nitrogen toxicity. Slow growth, leaf clawIng and nutrient burn leaf tips. Will monitor for growth changes
Day 37
18 Sept 20: defoliated dead and crinkling leaves to clean up the canopy.. starting to see some growth finally kick in.
Day 39
20 Sept 20: Watered with seaweed extract and Foliar spray before lights out (1 tsp/ Gal) ph 7.0 from basement dehumidifier water.
Day 50
01 Oct 20: plants starting to really veg out. Mostly changing last tie down every few days. Super Cropped the main stems and they are beginning to knuckle.
Day 59
09 Oct 2020: top dressed 1 tbsp/Gal and watered. Adjusted tie downs and watered at 6.8 ph. Lollipopped and defoliated sucker branches.
Day 60
10 Oct 2020: Flipped to flower 12/12 as my other outdoor plants got stolen.
Day 65
15 Oct 20: readjusted tie downs and watered ph 7.0 + 1 tsp of soluble seaweed extract and NPK grow microbes.
Day 70
20 Oct 20: First pistils visible showing the plant transition into day 1 of flower at 10 full weeks of veg.
Day 71/Day 2 (F)
21 Oct 20 : Defoliated undergrowth and small sucker branches. Plant has not entered its flower stretch growing in size and stacking bud site on out branches.
Day 79 (F10)
29 Oct 20: Bottom watered ph to 6.0
Day 83 (F14)
2 Nov 20: watered ph to 6.3. Plants currently have a minor aphid problem. Usually examine the plant and kill by hand while tracking down some Green Lacewing Larvae. #2 is the most affected plant.
My assumption is that my indoor plants got contaminated by the tent/grow space by my outdoor plants that had a late season aphid outbreak.
Day 85/F17
05 Nov 20: reamended with bloom power bloom and rock phosphate, worm castings and watered ph to 6.2 no run off.
Ferminator foliar spray has had little to no affect on aphids.
Day 92/F24
12 Nov 20: watered in Bloom microbes (1 tsp/Gal).
Day 98/F30
18 Nov 20: released 500 green lacewing larvae to combat aphids. Have not observed many on the hunt, but will wait and see.
Day 102/F34
22 Nov 20: buds looking nice, bulking up and stacking nicely. Lacewing larvae making an impact on the aphid population (buckwheat on plants). Lights at 18” and set full power to 135w each.
Day 104/F36
24 Nov 20: watered in 1 tsp/Gal soluble seaweed ph to 6.8
HARVEST DAY
Day 116/F48
06 Dec 20: looks like the aphids sprung back to life. Bud washing killed them all off.
#1: trichomes were mostly 60% cloudy and 40% amber in places especially top cola sites.
#2: trichomes were varied on lower buds, still a lot of clear trichs, mixed with mostly cloudy and some amber. Tops had more amber (10%) and mostly cloudy with some clear.
Ideally would let these run longer but they were two weeks slower than anticipated and next grow was about to commence.
BUD WASHED due to contaminants and pest:
Bucket 1: H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide) 30 Secs
Bucket 2: 3/4 lemon juice and 1 cup baking soda
Bucket 3: plain water to rinse
