Mephisto Genetic - Strawberry Nuggets
Organic Grow.
Gaia Green All Purpose Fertilizer 4-4-4: 1 Cup (16 Tbsp)
Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4: 3 Tbsp
Great White: 2 Tbsp
Micro Grow: 1 Tbsp
Worm Casting: 10%
Coco Coir: 60%
Perlite: 30%
I've also got a Home Grown CO2 bag hanging in my tent. PPM is unknown.
Overall there was not as much stretch as I expected.
There was a few day pause where nothing grew from the main stock and had some twisted growth. After those few days, she snapped outta it and is back on track now.
Leaves have a strange two tone shade of green and remain looking healthy. The pictures do not show it well.
I believe some of the extremely low humidity levels are playing a part in how she is growing right now. I'll be increasing the humidity levels this week.
I gave her a shot or soluble great white from Planet Success.
She had good growth this week but again not much stretch in height.
I've leaf tucked some of the bigger fan leaves to open up the canopy for the lower nodes to pull through.
Got the humidity closer to 60% RH target this week as well.
I should be top dressing her by end week 4.
She had a little bit fo stretch which was mostly from the lower nodes pulling up.
The stems throughout are extremely large and stiff for her age.
There was no longer a gap between the lower leaves and the rim of the pot so I decided to defoliated only the lower leaves to allow her to breath.
Im going to wait an extra week before top dressing. Her leaves are still dark green. She is short, stocky, and just started showing signs of sex.
This week went extremely well as it started the transition into flowering.
The canopy has levelled out as she continues to open up. Her stems are all big solid sticks. It's a good thing she is short because she would not tie down well. Bright white pistols are coming in quite quickly.
Top Dressed her early week.
Gaia Green 4-4-4: 1 Tbsp
Gaia Green 2-8-4: 1 Tbsp
Gaia Green 3-0-3: 1 Tsp
Gaia Green 0-9-0: 1 Tsp
Great White: 1/4 Tsp
By end week she has started to show tip burn on some of the leaves. Doesn't look too bad. Will need to take this into account when introducing final feed.
No more signs of worsening tip burn so I know the feeding is good.
Trichomes have started this last week.
That wonderful strawberry field has started to come as well.
Despite her continuing to stretch I will likely need to defoliate next week to ensure adequate airflow is achieved as the buds stack.
So she is officially wider than she is tall. Her hight is a short 16 inches with a width of 18 inches.
The way these buds are forming they should be rock hard nuggets when finished.
I ran out of my Bio Root so i've switched to green planet Root Builder.
I gave her a water soluble shot of Great white.
I will be top dressing next week.
Hard cotton ball buds with Ohhhh so many trichomes. Its undercarriage is so thick with large stiff stems.
Top Dressed
Gaia Green - All Purpose: 1 Tbsp
Gaia Green - Bower Bloom: 2 Tbsp
Gaia Geen - Mineralized Phosphate: 2 tsp
Nitrogen is beginning to deplete in the leaves.
Trichomes are starting to cloud over so I figure she will be done within two weeks.
Tomorrow I will be starting to give her only PH water until harvest.
I fed her at the start of the week with:
Epson Salt: 1 litre at 2 tsp per Gal.
Molasses: 1 Litre at 1 tsp per Gal.
Worm Casting: 4 Tbsp.
Buds are looking nice a juice. Cant wait to try it out.
One full week down of giving her only straight PH water.
She is starting to drink a little less as well. Not sure if this is because she is near finishing or because the nitrogen is quickly depleting.
I've defoliated most of the nitrogen depleted and dead leaves. This has now allowed me to actually see all the buds on this plant and there is a lot. DENSE!
Trichomes are still cloudy so I know it's near done. I don't imagine it will go another week so my next post will likely be harvest.
Absolutely fantastic plant. She was not my biggest yielder, coming in at 139 grams but quality and uniqueness is there.
Smell:
Potent and sweet flowers.
Taste:
Sweet berries.
Appearance:
She was a short but stocky plants so would be ideal if space is limited.
Nice compact buds coated with a frosty layer of trichomes.
Effects:
Good high to just shut down from a long day and settle into bed.
Overall a nice easy grow with no issues throughout. She produced bright white pistols early flowers that often waved rather than reaching straight to the light. Very smooth flavourful smoke that just makes you want to keep smoking. Watch out though it packs a punch.
Pros:
Easy to grow.
Great taste.
@CheckThoseTrichs, Thanks for checking out my grow. My light is a bit more then I need in my 4x4 so I rarely turn her to 500W. That being said, I'm definitely happy with the quality of the lights. Would definitely recommend.
