Grow journal - 3rd Grow Autoflowers

Robmags 09/08/20 - Germinated 6 seeds 2 Auto Blueberry(AB), 2 Auto White Widow(WW), 1 Auto Brooklyn Sunrise(BS), 1 Auto Glueberry OG(AG). Placed in jars of tiped water sealed for 18 hrs then paper towel for 24 hrs then placed in Jiffy peat starters in humidity starter. AG first to pop after 2 days, then 1 WW then the BS although BS struggled with shell so assistance was needed. BS formed slowly due to the stress from the shell although looking good now.smaller of the 3. 2 AB & 1 WW did not sprout although did germinate in paper towel. Conditions for those 3 must not have been adequate. I used Hydroton balls, which I thought had been washed although could be previously used (Not sure). Possibly the Nutrient/salts in clay balls could have stunted the sprouting. Don't know? Planted 3 more seeds on the 16/08/20 1 WW & 2 AB to replace others not sprouted. I left these seeds in the water for a full 24 hrs, then left them in the paper towel for 48hrs. Tap roots were 10mm! Tried a different method to plant so as to not further stress theser seeds, I used the smallest mesh pot bottom filled with Clay balls then topped with mixture of perlite 50% & Coco 50%. This mesh pot was placed in a mesh pot medium sized which was filled with Clay balls. Half an inch from the top of the mesh pot containing the perlite/coco mix had ben left free and a hole the size of a Rockwool cube dug aside all the way to the clay balls inside the smallest mesh pot. A wettened rockwool cube was placed in the middle touching the bottom clay balls. the rockwool cube turned upside and the original hole from cube filled.A new hole was placed in the cube and only the tap root was placed in the hole with the shell sitting above then the shell was concealled with Perlite/coco mixture and watered. 1 has almost sprouted as it is begining to show through. The soil on the 2 are showing signs of lifting, which I believe are the seeds sprouting. 21/08/20 - New seeds have sprouted, Excellent! New planting system a hit! I will do nextr time again.

Robmags 22/08/20 - Dasy 6; Seedling struggles with hard shell so a hand was needed to remove hard shell. CO2 hand made added to room (1 ltr) 24/08/20 - Raised light and increased power. 26/08/20 - Swapped Older White Widow & Glueberry into Flower tent to have 4 plants in each tent for the Auto's. Increased power on lights. Increased the nutrients to 1/2 strength on all. 28/08/20 - Swapped Glueberry OG & Brooklyn Sunrise from one tent to the other. Light is at maximum strenght in both tents. Will increase Nutrients to 3/4 strength for Brooklyn Sunrise & White widow in fllower tent and possibly increase nutrients on the Glueberry & other White widow. Blueberry may wait until next week. 29/08/20 - Increased nutrients on all Grow 3. 3/4 strength.in the next few days I will increase the nutrients again. All looking good. 1 Blueberry seedling took a little longer than the rest to grow first set of leaves. New Co2 bottle added

Robmags 31/08/20 - Moved White Widow & Brooklyn Sunrise back from Flower tent to Veg tent under TSW 1000. Increased Nutrients on all plants. Created a humid environment - less air blowing in and light fan through out freshh air blown in every hour then decreasing every day. 2/09/20 - Added addition of Spiral Plant giudes from LST. I created them myself so lets see how they work. 4/09/20 - Added TSW 600 in addition to the TSW 1000 for increased lighting to all sides and plants for optimal growth. Constant checking of PH Range at 6 - 6.2 6/09/20 - Pony tailed for 3 hours White Widows & Glueberry + Brooklyn Sunrise. Took a couple of fan leaves from White Widow (Older) and Brooklyn Sunrise. 7/09/20 - I have been turning plants and raised lights to 20 inches above canopy. Tailed again for 2.5 hours. Checking PH 6 - 6.2 * No Signed of flowering on any yet * (Phew!!)

Robmags Update14/09/20 - Most of the girls afe growing nicely. 1 of the blueberry's is challenged (Pictured left). From sprouting there were a few mutations to early leaves. 1 leaf began to twirl as though re-vegging, branches were very short and growth very slow. All other plants growing nicely. Ph 6.0 Humidity 50% Co2 Water temp 22c Day temp 24c Night 18c. With the Blueberry, I decded to top at the 4th node. Branches were small or really almost non-existent. I also gave it the 'Kyle Kushman' Chiropractic proceedure, by firmly squeezing the branches (similar to super cropping although no bending just popping inside of branches, as branches are way to small to properly Kyle Kushman so I tried it this way) to hopefully form knuckles and push energy up into the lower branches, and together with the topping will hopefully prove a great idea and really bush out the bottom branches and strength the over all plant. I am aware that this may push the plant into flower, although going by my previous grow (2nd Grow diary) my Auto Blueberry has been slowed in growth by 2 weeks by topping and lollipopping in mid veg, so either way it's OK which way it goes "Flower or slowed growth. As long as the plant can have an opportunity to grow at it's full potential. I know this type will give the plant the right direction to place its energy to grow properly. (The plant needs help) 14/09/20 - Defoliated and light LST bending branches out lightly. 16/09/20 - White widows, Blueberry OG & Brooklyn Sunrise have begun to show signs of sex, exactly 5 weeks + 3 days (Day 38) from Seed for the Glueberry, 1 x White Widow & Brooklyn Sunrise. 2 x Blueberry & 1 x White Widow is exactly 1 week behind 4 weeks & 3 days (Day 31) Continued with LST with bending only for training. Blueberry that was topped is progressing nicely although still very stunted. I'm OK with that as all others are growing nicely. * The structure of nodes etc on White Widow, Glueberry, Brooklyn Sunrise & the Blueberry left untouched is awesome! Works well for LST. These WW, BS strains in Kratsky are really bushing out with branching & leaves everywhere, as opposed to the Glueberry & Blueberry is well structured with the perfect amount of branching to leaves, with very little LST *
