All ladies have started really pushing pistils and growth at this point. Definitely want to try running MH lighting to start veg next run. Wasnt sure if the switch from MH to HPS would stunt or shock the ladies too much being autos but i would like to see bigger and faster veg growth. We live and we learn haha, trial and error. But still saying that i am very impressed with these ladies and excited to see their progress starting bloom the over this next week.

Things have really begun to take off now. The two toofless aliens are pushing 2 foot tall and have begun their apical cola growth. Side branches are starting to catch up with the tops and flowering mode is in full effect. The two alien vs triangle, one shorter and bushier the other taller bud still wide, have almost begun apical cola blossom and sitting around a foot and foot and a half. Excited to see their progress over this next week as they begin blooming more heavily. Have added snow storm and carbo load to my arsenal and the combo alone in a airated tank will produce bacterial growth with a clear tea brew! Love it, will use this for pre flush watering from now on with a little molasses i can tell it will work wonders!

Explosive growth this past week as the ladies have made their transition into flower. All ladies have pushed apical cola growth and side branches on some plants have caught up to almost the same height. Seeing sugar already on these ladies and slightest movment from them unleashes the most pleasant of aromas into the air. Seems every the ladies doubled in size and in later weeks tripled. Very excited to see their progress over this next week!

Things have really started to pick up now. Looking at others auto runs their plants seem to be further along in development at day 49. Not to concerned as everything looks fantastic, im guessing i will just have to run them 80 days+. That could be because im using an hps bulb and everyone is using leds or something less intensive. Alien vs Triangle definetely is sensitive to something in the garden. Showing signs of heat stress but there is no heat. My guess is sensitive to light, spray or possible ph issue even though im working with living soil and microbe teas. Using some non organic nutes but letting the microbes break everything down in the tea fist befoe appling. Getting thick black build up every brew. Anyone experiene issues with Alien vs Triangle showing heat stress signs? Thinking about starting an early flush or pre flush to flush and see if that speeds things up a bit.

Going to be on a week or so more days of feedings until they start their flush. Toofless alien #1 will be the first to start her flush in 4 days and will get two more nutrient feeds mainly with pk and carbs like the others. The plants did not get as big as id hoped for but i am not used to runnin autos or this super soil mix. Going to tweak some things and see if i can get the growth i want out of these girls. Could be the different pheno types from the seeds but there are many variables to take into consideration haha. Started slowly coming into the flush cutting out additives and sticking to carbs and PK to try and give them a last push. Going to be using my MH bulb next run to see if that makes a difference and writing out a new recipe to use next run. Will also be using LST / leaf tucking to keep plant shorter and encourage side branching. The shortest of the littler toofless alien #1 seemed to put the most bulk on the fastest. Lots if things to think about and consider for the next turn! Beyond excited for these to finish and be enjoyed! The smells are intoxicating from the toofless alien as hoped for and will leave your fingers coated in oils and resin after a light squeeze. A+ on all these for quality now just gotta figure out how to make them really sing for me!

Things are starting to wrap up as ladies have gotton a few pre flush feeds and ready for their official flush now. Saw some calcium deficiency towards the end in two plants, added a little cal mag to my pre flush feed. Was worried the ladies wernt getting all they needed from the mephisto super soil. Going to be trying a new recipe without super soil next run as well as adjusting some other minor issues. The smells, oils and trichrome coverage on these ladies is intoxicating. White crack is the least pungent of all but has a great structure and wonderful internodal spacing. Keeping her small would defintely mean a plant completely full of nug haha. So excited to harvest these girls and enjoy their blessings. Very impressed with mephisto genetics and their breeding. Highly reccomended, get the toofless alien!! Best damn smell in the room and something very unique i have not experienced since a teen!

All ladies have been flusing for 7 to 10 days now and about to be put on death row. I took down an alien vs triangle that was pretty larfy and didnt preform to well this run and froze it to be processed into live resin. Toofless alien #1 "sugar rush" pheno will be the second to get the chop at around 75 days id say. Th rest of the ladies at day 77 to 80. Everything is looking and smelling outstanding and i must say it is currently a challenge not to chop them all! Mephisto genetics is doing some real serious auto breeding and it is pushing the boundaries and standards as we know it! If i didnt tell you these were autos you would have no clue ;) seriously impressive, a frost farmer couldnt ask for more consistant quality genetics.....and these are autos. Not sure theres a difference anymore ;)

I don't know these nutrients, but it's fuuuking many different ones 😜 Also in my 👀 Very high dosage 30ml/L But as I saying... I do not know the brands. Is it necessary for all the different fertilizers ❓❔❓❔

@FarmerJohn, Okay, so it starts to make sense again 😜

@XxxAuto, i updated the list to be more accurate to what was added. Hopefully that clears things up for you a bit!

@XxxAuto, Most of the products listed are for microbe tea brewing. The numbers given are rough not exact to the brew. Everything ends up being diluted to 5-10 gallons and more food or "fertilizers" are added gradually to feed the microbes. The initial dose of photo plus is 60ml to 5 gals so i just put 30ml a gal because i start my tea brews to 2 gals of water. The budswell is just guanos not a fertilizer and the rate is 30ml a gal. I do 30 to 60ml for the 2 gal tea and end uo diluting and dont add more. Numbers seem high but they arnt really that crazy. Ive got a lot in my arsenal and just using a little bit of anything that will benifit the microbes and growth of the autos. Everything is organic except a few products which is used sparingly in comparison. It is all diluted as well.

@FarmerJohn, I have tried using mh and it only seemed to matter to photo period plants ( 12 hrs) give it a go but to lessen the stretch I'd get them closer to the lights 👍
FarmerJohn
FarmerJohncommented8 years ago
@BigDaddyK, yea i didnt think to raise them for the first time running autos. Seems like people get good yeild and growth from minimal lighting so was testing the waters. You dont think MH in veg would do them any better then HPS for flower? Have you tried both ways? Maybe it was the pheno or the super soil wasnt quite as strong as i thought. Going to be using a different growing method i think, instead of the super soil and microbe tea approach. See if i can get some bigger yields. Wasnt sure if i was pushing to hard or not enough with the super soil in there. Or watering to much with teas and should have used plain water or more diluted teas. Running through the variables and trying to tweak what i think could help improve things. I think keeping them closer to the light in veg and doing some training to promote side brancing and short stature should do the trick for me, got a new recipe ready as well so we will see what happens next run! Happy to be stimulated and learning more with these autos. So used to running photo period plants haha.
