Hey everyone! Welcome back to another round of bud! Should be a good one. Super excited about this strain because I am growing it for my grandfather to help him battle some serious pain. I am also attempting to grow in a Living Soil bed by Honor, with nothing but water and microbes!
The soil is Detroit Nutrient Company, Great Lakes Water Only Soil
Can't wait for y'all to see this one 😃
This whole not hand watering thing is nice! Plus I don't ever have to worry about over watering! This seems like a win win for me and the plants.
They all took about 5 days to bust through the soil but are looking great. Definitely going to top and trellis net this grow 💪
This week doesn't bring anything too exciting unfortunately. They are growing at their own pace and there is nothing wrong with that.
Again, they are in living soil so their growth isn't going to be explosive like a tent that's being force fed nutrients
Rolling into week 4 with these babies! They are starting to get their feet deep in that soil and picking up on all the wonderful food Detroit Nutrient Company puts in their soil!
These ladies are really doing some amazing things this week. Seems like overnight they have grown very quickly.
Added some trellis netting this week to get things going before flower!
They are doing great, now, I was having a little trouble with the blumat system but things are looking up!
The blumat soaker hose was completely empty when I got home from work the other day and the plants were very sad. So I have left the soaker hose on 100% until the soil gets back to normal, and there was 4 gallons of water in the reservoir.
This week will be the last week of veg! Planning on flipping them into flower this weekend!
These ladies are going to stretch, I can already see that, so I'm going to keep them under the second trellis until flower on Sunday, at that point I'm going to try and dip and dive them through the second level during the first couple of weeks of flower.
These ladies are just about ready for take off! they are starting to stretch like crazy. I am feeling pretty prepared for at least 24 inches.
We shall see..
Starting to see real buds on these ladies, and boy oh boy are they stretching. In the last 3 days they are reached almost 14 inches higher than they were last week.
Absolutely amazing growth from the living soil!
These ladies are out surpassing anything I expected. Just absolute monsters at this point. I had to super crop a couple of them and the are already in that j shape and headed back up hah.
Looking forward to the next couple weeks!
Starting to see some pretty nasty mag deficiency on the top of the canopy so I fed them some Mag Amped today! Will be watching the tops this week.
Otherwise, they are exploding with weight!
These ladies are really battling this mag deficiency with some serious browning happening fairly quickly. I have been hand watering in Mag-Amped a couple times a week at this point. We are almost there!!!
I fought the deficiency and won. After realizing last week that I had some serious calcium or magnesium deficiency, I have been hand watering a Herc/Mag-Amped pH 6.4 water in, along with the drip tape on 75%.
The browning and yellowing has stopped both, up and down the plant. So now just 2 more weeks... Gonna be a nail biter!
Well the temperature outside has finally dropped into the lower temps, helping cool the room down A LOT. The trichome production on these ladies since the deficiency got fixed is amazing!
Can't wait to try these girls out!
These ladies are doing great, I ended up chopping them down a day or two into next week. They have been quite the plants, the 36 inches stretch really threw a wrench in things but we're almost done!!!
This was quite the grow y'all. The blumat soaker hose was a great addition... once I figured out why it kept getting stopped up. I can't wait to get another living soil grow going cause that was a lot of fun!
