What'd up what'd up my canna fam! I am back at it again! This time we are going with some recycled soil that I re-amended with some Oregon's Only One Shot, BioAg CytoPlus, and Worm Castings.
We are going to go big with these girls but I've had some real trouble with these seeds. By the end of this veg week I've already popped two replacement seeds after getting two seedlings and then, them shriveling up and dying. Not sure what this is about or if it's a genetics thing. Either way, if she doesn't come back in a couple more seeds, she's getting the boot.
Cross your fingers for this grow! 😅😂
Well folks, looks like after 6 beans, we finally got 3 solid plants that haven't gone limp noodle on me. Not the best odds with these seeds. BUTTTT, they are looking healthy and they are working their little butts off to get big and strong. We are going off veg day's for the leader in the tent, it would be way too confusing to try and keep up with veg dates for 3 different plants.
Going to start the Nectar for the Gods nute line next week! For now they are getting pH 6.4 water and a solo dose of SLF-100.
Wow, what a week. I was super busy doing things outside of the house this week that I didn't get as many pics as I would have liked to.
I started feeding the Nectar nutes this week! Going great so far!
Eh, we're battling a slight yellowing in between the veins, but I have started feeding them more this week. Figured it is just a slight nitrogen or mag deficiency, so I added some Dr. Growth by Cultured Biologix and Mag Amp this week.
Flipped all the ladies into they're new pots today! One of them did not take the transplant lightly, but she bounced back by the end of the week.
Bumped all the nutes up a touch for mid veg.
These ladies are really filling out the bottom layer of the trellis netting.
Going to be upping their nute feed in the coming week just to get the soil and the plants ready for flower in week 8.
I can't believe it's already been 8 weeks! I am so happy to announce flower for my third grow this year!
Couldn't be more stoked to get these ladies into flower. The smell is starting to get up there hah
All these ladies are doing great! Just did a slightly large defoliation before taking the pics for this week, so they look a little wimpy.
Their stems and branches are starting to get very sturdy and the bud sites are exploding with foliage!
These ladies are cruising their way through flower! A very beautiful even canopy is quite nice to see compared to the living soil tent I'm currently running.
Buds are coming in nicely!
The budsites and trichomes are really starting to set in this week! The temperature outside is starting to chill out which is making the tents colder. I'm hoping to see if the drop in temp truly does impact the amount of trichomes produced.
Definitely forgot to water to water the ladies a few too many days in a row last week so one of the plants started to get a little a brown around the pistils. Will be better about watering this week lol.
Other than that, the ladies are doing great!
Just rolling through flower at this point, only 3-4 more weeks till I get to chop them down!
They are really putting on a beautiful smell in the past few days 👃
These ladies are starting to put on a very distinct smell to them. Like a bag of sugar in a wet basement kind of smell. I know, what a weird fucking smell, right?
Same.
Otherwise, all good in the hood as we roll through another and final week of flower before the two weeks of starvation stress 😳
First week of the flush! Lady number 3 is looking quite young, but she also is looking a little nitrogen toxic, so I think an extra week of just pH 6.8 water and some microbes won't hurt
The other two are looking to finish by thanksgiving! This grow has flown by!
Hey hey hey! This was the last week of flower for these ladies! I checked in on them at the end of the week after not really paying attention to them and BAM, they were ready to go!
These buds smell like a plant and a bag of sugar fucked in a dank dark basement and had a freaky, sugary child. All three (well 6 technically, these had a hard time popping) had very different things going for them.
One had big fat pineapple shaped buds, one had super long flowering buds, and the other, well that one kinda sucked on flower amount. BUT the trichome density on that specific plant was unbelievable.
The smoke (after only a week of jar cure) are high flying fun. It's the kind of strain that gets you movin. It has a slightly see taste, but I'm expecting it to get more complex as the time goes on!
This strain was a hell of a time. From the beginning when I had no idea if this genetic was even going to make it...
Now we have 4.5 ounces in our hands from a bad ass grow. I would call this a success story hahah. Can't wait to start my next grow!!!
