Do the plants look stunned? Should they be this small by this time?

They're probably bigger than they should be, it looks like they're stretching. I would consider dropping your light a few inches. This will actually slow vertical growth for the next week, but you want that. Your baby needs to develop a root system right now. That's her purpose. Instead she's spending energy reaching for the light.

They're definitely stretching a lot. i don't see a fan in your setup, so I highly recommend you get one. It'll strengthen the stem. - Size of the plant itself not taking the stretching into account, looks pretty normal under a 150w HID, tho you could probably lower the light a bit to avoid more stretching, and I'd definitely recommend you fill up the rest of the pot with grow medium to cover a bit of the stem.

they are up and they are new, all is normal with them, you will see slow growth for a few weeks where it seems nothing is happening, the plant is like an iceberg, growth also happens underneath, those roots are getting deeper, and they are growing and stretching and growing into a super root heaven. to answer your question. everything is normal. remember to water but not over do it

The bottom leafs are getting yellow and almost falling off. I heard it's normal and it's ok. This is visible in the picture. Does it seem healthy to you guys? Thanks!

Looks pretty normal. Don't worry unless it starts moving up. Just make sure your pH and EC are good in the meantime.

Hey Growmie, as you've been told this is normal, as the plant grows and spreads out it begins to block the lower half of the plant from the light so the lower leaves eventually die off from lack of light. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.

Hello fellow growmies! I'm starting week 7 of my first grow. It's a NL Auto. I have only removed a few leaves from the bottom that were yellow but other than that I did't trim it or train it at all. Do you think I should defoliate it or do some LST? Thanks!

Hello it’s a bit late to do a full deep defoliation but if you have to take those big fan leaves out you can but don’t go too harsh on the plant you don’t want to shock it at this point of its life. Remember to defoliate early in flower. Good luck!

hello 👋 Yes yes yes. I recommend defoliation at day 1 of flower and week 3 of flowering which you're in. Clean up the bottoms (lollipop) it'll get rid of popcorn buds and boost the top colas. Remove all leaves and bud sites at the bottom 6 or so inches. As for defo on the upper part be a bit more gentle, maybe just a 10-20% and mainly leaves blocking the light. 👍

Looking good man now is time to be patient and wait for the trichomes to tell you when to harvest ✌️

You should consider buying a humidifier (and a dehumidifier for flow) if you don't have one yet. These are basic tools for a decent growth even for low budget. It cost less than 30$ for a decent one, each. Moreover for a CFL <=200w it is best to put them between 10-20 cm from the plant when she is 2 weeks old. For a CFL the closer the better (5-10cm). Just if you put them less than 20cm do it progressively reduce 5 cm for a week to see if you plant can take it. For a T° of 31°C, a RH of 70% is optimum for veg growth. I suggest you that you look at a VPD Chart. It compile the best condition RH and T° for veg or flow. Take care growmie and good luck !😎!
