Soaked on 21/08/2020, planted in a plastic cup a day after. Looking good for now :-)
The plan is to switch to flowering after about 9 weeks after germination.
I also watched Kushman's guide to super-cropping recently (finally) and plan to follow his technique
Repotted to 12L Root Pouch pots, still watering with PH-d water and some Cannazym in it. Bended a bit since the stem was too big and girl was falling on the ground after repotting. Buried stem-loop in the substrate, it should become a root zone sometime after. Runtz is doing better than Strawberry for some reason. All seem to be well. I'm recording time-lapses apart from taking pictures and it looks like the growth pace is somewhat normal.
Started feeding with the Canna Coco base set. Runtz is a bit slower than strawberry lemonade. Nothing special for those girls. No more training yet. Leaf color looks a bit suspicious but I hope that it will stabilize later. I have a few more plants around and they had the same problems at the start. I tend to think that somehow the PH level of the substrate was uneven, and at later stages, they seem to adapt
Topped at the start of the week. All seem fine, nothing to say really. Leaf color got more normal. Not sure about long veg now since other plants are kinda ready for the switch.
I tend to bend everything down! Did the switch to 12/12, spoiled own plans. The deal is that I have a few neighbor girls on the 8th week of vega and I'm not sure that all of them would fit if I can wait for more... Excuses, excuses... No signs of flowering whatsoever, no stigmas, so let's call it another vegetation week.
Pruned some lower branches, fed with water/nutes interchangeably 2/2 days or so.
After all of the training, the lady looks like a little mantis according to my wife 😄
Forgot to take pictures on Sunday :-P
Did light defoliation to reduce the humidity and let light reach lower buds.
The feeding schedule is the same, I'm noticing nutrient burn and switching to water periodically.
Runoff was about 1100 ppm, seem somewhat fine for me at that stage.
Added Canna PK once since the buds are kinda formed.
My dog ate some lower leaves, hence defoliation, haha. He really liked this one, other strains weren't that tasty to him.
Watering as previously changing solution from nutrient-rich to clean water. Newish leaves don't have burns, so yay.
First and the most important of all is the switch to the dripping system! Hooray. The EC is pretty stable now and, I assume, is equal across all the pots that are there. So the buds actually seem to grow much faster than before, maybe it's the placebo effect and I'm lying to myself but I feel much happier now. Also no need to do the watering by hand which was also a bit time consuming also. Now only taking pictures and measuring EC/PH once a day. Phew!
Raised the lights a bit higher since the neighboring plant that doesn't have a diary had awful heat stress. Apart from that, all is well, growth is steady.
Sometimes I'm opening up a box and sitting in front of it for about half an hour just looking at different parts of the plants. Geez they are beautiful
All good this week. Buds getting fatter, I was a bit surprised when took whole plant pictures and compared to the ones from the previous week - you don't notice a lot of difference when you look at it every day :-P
Not a lot of growth and weight gain this week, probably mostly ripening :-) Buds are hard as plastic :-D
Can't wait to cut, started flushing with water and canna flush since day 6 of this week, cutting next week
One of the plants I didn't burglarize in the process of growing. One of the most beautiful I've ever grown at the same time.
I've popped another one already 😊 In general pretty much satisfied with the yield, despite the fact that I kept it on 18/6 not long enough IMO.
Didn't tasted stuff properly yet, smoked some charas made while trimming.
Sour skittles-like smells everywhere 😬
